The ambiance of this brewery was simple and cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Dog friendly and there were families there including children as well. Parking is limited, but there is street parking on the surrounding side streets. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable of the beers, and very welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. While the brewery doesn't serve food, there was a Polish hot dog vendor outside grilling fresh sausages, which was a great bonus. If you're in the area and have the time, this brewery is definitely worth a visit and 5 stars.

It's in an industrial park like strip mall so it doesn't look like much from the outside. No food onsite that I could see. I ordered a flight when I got there and was pleasantly surprised to see they do 6 beer flights. Score! I ordered 2 stouts, 2 pilsners, and 2 IPA's. The Dark Artifact (stout) was my favorite, but the pilsners were a pleasant surprise. They were playing 90's hip hop (A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, De La Soul) at a chill volume. I got my usual flight and for a small brewery, they had a solid sized selection of 14 different styles. I got a Hazy IPA, a Kolsch, a stout and a rice lager. The Hazy Town was my favorite, but I really liked the Koln Kolsch too. They also had a refrigerator for soft drinks and a few different nonalcoholic which was great for my buddy who no longer drinks. Most of the seating is outside but most of the seats are in the shade. The beertender (is that a word...it should be) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby.

I love the open space of the tasting room/bar area, the lighting is nice and there's good ambiance. The outdoor back patio is nice as well with a good view of downtown. The brewery is located in the East End/Second Ward and it's owned by the same folks as Brash Brewing. The building was built in the early 1900s. The taproom is moderate in size and there were quite a few tables. I had a pint of the Oktoberfest which I really enjoyed! I also ordered a flight with the following: 3 Seashells, Brash EZ 7, Spin Jammer, and the Exotica Scorpion. I didn't care for the Exotica (it was too sour for my preference), but I did like the other three that I tried. We didn't see any food during our visit, but they do have rotating vendors that sell food on site. You can also bring in food or have food delivered to the brewery. They don't have any TVs, so this wouldn't be a place to watch a game. They do allow free parking at the brewery if you want to take the train to the stadium which is pretty cool. They have weekday specials and they host events like Music Bingo and Yoga on the 4th Sunday of the month. Check their website and social media for events and specials.

Also, during the night, I began to notice the various random pieces of art on the bar shelves and on the walls, which along with some dim lighting, added great character to the place. It's a cozy bar that serves beer, wine, and coffee, so we shared 1-2 bottles of wine (the Bordeaux and Sangiovese) and both were really good. I came with coworkers and another friend, and we took up two of their three tables inside. Luckily, they have some bar seating too, so other guests were able to use those. They had live jazz here this past weekend (which they do every other Sunday), and the band produced an enjoyable performance throughout the night. But the music was really loud, like club volume, so it was hard to have conversations in there... but maybe it's better so people can focus on the music!?! Either way, this was a really laid back spot, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great experience.
