I had a broken screen on my Motorola. Granted it wasn't the new Iphone, but it was only a couple of years old, so you think they would be able to fix it quickly. I wanted to support a local business so I decided to check them out. They quickly determined that they could fix my phone, but they "needed to order the part." I was surprised as fixing displays seems like their main function, so not having the part on hand was strange. They then said that they needed me to pre-pay for the part. Again, I thought that was a bit bush-league, but okay, I thought, they are trying to cover themselves. They said that the part would be in in a few days. Then the trouble began. #1 They never called to tell me when the part came in. After about 5 days of not hearing from them, I called them and they said the part would come in in two more days. Also, I should call about it as "none of the people who [they] work with ever call the customers about the parts." So I called three more times until they told me the part came in, 8 days after I first brought my phone in. #2 I took the phone in to get fixed. When I came to pick it up, they told me the screen didn't work so they had to order another new screen. But don't worry, they will overnight it and they will for sure call me when it comes in. #3 Three days later, no call, so I call them and they tell me the part will come in the next day. They assure me they will call me this time. #4 Jackpot! They actually did call me and the phone got fixed. It only took 14 days from when I originally showed up. Go there if you want the job done but done very slowly. I should have just fixed it myself. read more

I have to use my phone on a daily basis for work and the day I had to work the Home and Garden show, the screen stopped working and could no longer register the touch of my finger to swipe the code in the phone to unlock it. I went over to Verizon and they couldn't help me other than using an early upgrade, but they referred me to Drop Smash Fix and told me that it would take no longer than a couple of hours to replace the screen. I stopped by before heading into work and I was greeted by Oscar, who was not only friendly, but super helpful as well. First of all, it is so refreshing during this crazy covid era to have a company answer the phone with a REAL LIVE PERSON! No recording, no 20-minute holds, etc! My husband and I have been impressed with DropSmashFix ever since we discovered them a few years ago. They are polite and personable and helpful, even over the phone. I'm rushing into the bathroom to take a shower and watch in slow motion my IPhone dropping into the toilet oh no!! I do what I can to dry it (put it on rice, warm oven) nothing. My audio jack stopped working I was worried i would have to leave my phone there while they fixed it . However to my surprise Oscar fixed my phone in less than 10 minutes. I can tell you one thing for sure about this place They can and will do great job and there attitude is totally professional. I believe these guys are fair, honest and in it for the long haul. Understand also whenever there is an attempt to fix something that has been broken it doesn't always go perfectly. The best any service can do is offer, to try again, at no charge and these guys will do that. So, I think ,it is not fair to lash out (with a bad yelp review) at a valuable service like this in the unusual circumstance your phone didn't get fixed exactly as planned. read more

Ulysses repaired my iphone on Sunday 6/21/15. The main button was somehow stuck as Siri kept on coming on without the button being touched, but Ulysses called me within 30 minutes of leaving him with my iphone, and said it was fixed. He, as well as the other guys, are very friendly and professional. I heard another guy talk to another customer while I was there on Sunday, and he was also knowledgeable and had customer service skills. Wow! I dropped and smashed my Iphone 4. The only thing left to do was FIX! Oscar has been a life saver (i.e. iPad saver) for me twice! The volume button got bent by my students, of course, It's after my warranty ran out. I stop by Drop, Smash, Fix Hoping for and inexpensive repair and that's exactly what I got. Whew! So when my screen suddenly went haywire I headed straight here hoping for the a repeat experience. Joey at the Ventura shop is fantastic. His knowledge of the products is very impressive and he was very patient with me. I also watched him with another customer and he treated her With the same respect and patience. He fixed our smashed iPhone late on a Sunday afternoon in about an hour. My family and I are apparently clumsy enough that we shouldn't be allowed to have nice things, including smart phones and tablets. Went to Mac store and they wanted to keep it for a couple days and cost $150 to check it out. Finally heard of this place and they had it fixed and only charged me $40. Took less than a hour.
