I'm a firm believer in excellent customer service, and lately, I've been tired of going to places where it feels like I'm doing them a favor just by showing up, or where it's obvious someone hates their job. That was absolutely not the case at Dr.'s Eyecare Center. I first learned about them through a personal friend's recommendation. Instead of calling, I decided to stop by in person. Jordan greeted me with a friendly smile and was incredibly helpful. I explained that my daughter was heading to college and asked if she could be fit in before she left. Not only did Jordan make it happen within the same week, but she also booked me an appointment as well. I truly appreciate her! Fast forward to my appointment -- Summer got me in quickly and efficiently, and everyone I encountered was thorough and professional. Dr. Levy gave great recommendations, and at the end, Jackie helped me choose the perfect pair of eyeglasses. If anyone there hates their job, they sure don't show it! I felt valued as a patient from start to finish. Even though I'm planning to move to PA, I will not be changing my eye doctor. Highly recommend! read more

Staff was nice but after meeting with Dr Levy, I left feeling abused. He was sarcastic, condescending, and refused to listen and instead repeatedly tried to push me towards surgery, as well as additional testing when all I wanted was a refraction, and I stated that over and over and over to him and to the staff. I've been going to Dr's eyecare center since 2007, and I just ordered new glasses and it's been almost 4 weeks now ! Still nothing !!

The receptionist is rude but the doctors are amazing. From start the receptionist was more focused on her phone than checking me in. She wasn't pleasant at all. I don't like writing bad reviews about people but this by far needs to be said. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she literally embarrassed me with my personal info so not only I can but others in the office were able to hear. This office is a turn off because of the one receptionist in the front as soon as you enter. read more

Only delt with the doctors side here. Was seen for a routine exam. They did a thorough job of the usual checks. The bright lights in the eyes, the air puff test, and then checking my vision. They all seemed competent to me and made sure all my questions were answered. I was able to get a copy of my prescription so I can buy my glasses at a more affordable store. read more

Worst place ever! My brother and I had came in today to get an contact exam done.. we were told on the phone we would pay anywhere between $80-130.. in the end they charged us $225 for something we didn't even ask to get done in the first place... just simply an contact exam. When the doctor was informed of this, she didn't really seem as if she cared at all and was just like oh well, since they already had our money. We recently moved from Texas in this area 5 minutes away from the office and were looking for a good eye doctor for the whole family and thought we found one according to the reviews but apparently they aren't accurate. Please don't show up to this office, they will try to rob you. read more

There's 2 sections- the actual Dr. Office, then the glasses purchasing store. Two different experiences. The entrance was confusing for me due to the Dr office sign-in being located in the store section. Dr. Office: professional experience every time I have gone for myself and my children. Staff is courteous, dr.s are knowledgable, great communication, quick, yet patient. Great with kids. Plenty of drs on staff. Friendly waiting room and staff. Store: my one star dropped here. Honestly there is one customer service/ saleswoman who, although knowledgable and older, has a naturally cold personality with both staff and customers. All other employees are always pleasant. I took off work don't tell me to come back on another day. your website should not have let me make the appointment. unprofessional. My appointment was at 11:15 I got there in plenty of time before the 11:15 time. I was still sitting waiting for a doctor to come in to see me over an hour later. Why is it acceptable that doctors do this to their patients? If I had been late they would have canceled my appointment however they can late and it doesn't matter. They stole $100 from me. Bottom line, I was told $80-$130 for my contacts exam and trial pair. Doctor went ahead and did a glasses exam on me as well, which I didn't ask for. They charged me an extra $100 for this. I questioned it. A few people got involved (doc, receptionist) and fed me their spiel. I simply paid and left. All they had to do was communicate with me better. Tell me what your charging me for ahead of time and it's keeps the atmosphere professional and friendly. I was supposed to come back in a week for something. I don't know what for, I stopped listening after they robbed me. I will not come back. This is my first review ever. read more

I've been going here since I was 10( I am now 23 so it's been a while). I love this eye doctor! they are very respectful, Easy scheduling, and have the latest techonology . I suffer from hydrosephelus so my eyes require extra attention and I definately get that here. I reccomend everyone give them a try! read more

The worse in customer service!! No one greets you AT ALL! They stare at you upon walking in, are dry and un-friendly. They lack serious customer service core values. They pressure you to purchase their frames after an eye exam and bad mouth other Optical places. And God Forbid if you have to return or exchange... Be ready for serious attitude thrown your way. I had to ask several times what their policy was before I just asked if they could return everything (due to slight issue with RX). Still have no idea what their general policy is because my question went ignored. I would never go there again or recommend this place to anyone. Unless you don't mind being treated like a nuisance while dropping good $ for both, poor service and frame selection. I give it a one star for location. It was close and convenient to me, but after this experience, I'd drive an hr for great service! read more

The services of the attending eye doctors are excellent. They did all necessary test and even waved my fee for a certain procedure. I have problems with the optical store, i came in pick a frame paid my co pay fee and they told me it will be ready in 2 weeks and they will give me a call. Two weeks past I get no call I decided to check on it and the lady answer me that my frame just came in the other day. It will take another 2 weeks they said they will notify me. After 2 weeks I called again realizing i haven't heard anything yet about my eye glasses. The person i spoke to she explain that they give me a call leave a message and when i reply i did not get any voice messages from you. She check the records its says they send a text messages i replied i did not get any text messages from you. Now the explanation was there was a glitch on the system they have to call the IT for it. What I am disappointed about and it really PISSED ME OFF was when I ask them when was my eye glasses ready? They answer 23rfof April. It's already 29 when I call then they added they automatically send text on the 24th which I did not received they double check with me if I gave them the correct phone number, what on their record is a correct number they ask if it's a home phone or cell ? I said that's my only phone and its a cell phone. The manager apologizes which is no avail anymore for me. Your sorry wont turn back the time and the actions they made or been taken are very poor. It only shows these kind of people who are trusted by the company doesn't care for their costumers. ITS THE PRINCIPLE !!!! After 3 days that the costumer did not show up to pick up the eye glasses wont you wonder what happen to them? Why would they care they are being paid by the insurance anyway !!!! Service was fantastic, easy, and fast!!!! Emily Bautista was fabulous and new what frames were up my alley within the first three tries! I was in and out within 15 mins and picked up my new frames 48 hours later as promised. I would recommend and definitely go back!!! read more

Dr Levy saw me immediately about a corneal abrasion that urgent care and the ER couldn't help me with. They fixed my eye and have seen me a few times after for problems have happened in conjunction with the first incident. read more
