We were craving sushi for lunch and decided to give Drunken Fish a try! It is right by campus, so it was close, and there was no wait when we went around 12. The waitress was amazing. There are lunch specials, but we didn't know that only 4 pieces of sushi came with the lunch special. The lunch special was sushi with soup or salad and it was $13. We both decided on something else since we wanted more than 4 pieces of sushi. I got the margarita roll with a salad and my friend got the bento box. My roll was amazing and had 8 pieces... I ate the entire roll and was pretty full after. My salad was soaked in dressing, so it was eh ok. My friend asked for more dressing and there is a .50 cent upcharge! His bento box looked good, but it was a bunch of raw fish on there so that's not my cup of tea. My one roll was $18 for lunch, which I thought was expensive. The food was god, service was great, and food came out fast.

Great service tucked away in a small strip mall. Food was very good..but really need to rename the "ceviche"..it's not even close to a ceviche

This pho is amazing! This is my go to spot for pho- not only because I live near, but because of how delicious it is. It pairs so well with their sushi too! pro tip: ADD CHILI OIL!! They make their chili oil in house (I think), definitely try it! It will change your life! I love you drunken fish!! Keep up the great work!!!

First things first the food is amazing. Secondly the service was also great. We ordered around 4-5 dishes and everything was cooked on point andtasted amazing. The price was also reasonable which makes us feel like a value for money. Coming to ambience it's not something luxurious but it is clean and tidy. I recommend everyone to try their food.

I've been here so many times but I've never tried this roll. The Livvy roll is SO GOOD. I'm typically not a fan of warm roll, but this is definitely the acceptation. My new go to roll! Our server was super attentive. Can't wait to come back.

Drunken Fish is a nifty Asian Restaurant located on Highland Drive, not too far from the South Gates of LSU. It's conveniently located in a small strip mall with its own ample parking lot. The restaurant itself is in the center of the development. They have a nice sushi bar area, as well as plenty of tables. I have to admit I've never had their sushi. I'm still exploring their menu, but I can recommend their soups and stir fry dishes. I'm a big fan of their Seafood Hu Tieu, which is a delightfully different mixed seafood soup. Another favorite of mine is the Shrimp and Scallop Sauté which is a great stir fry served with rice. Other excellent choices include their vermicelli bowls and bento boxes! I'm also a huge fan of their iced green tea, it's very refreshing.

Sushi here is really great! More of a casual spot, but it's a great spot for college kids.

Noodle pho with toppings, Thai milk tea with boba

Drunken Fish has the absolute best noodle pho in town! The broths are so full bodied and flavorful and the toppings are always fresh and plentiful. Not to mention, if you're under the weather, there's healing powers in that stuff! Their sushi rolls are all freshly made in front of you (Ashley roll is a favorite) and you can totally tell the difference. It's a small place that stays relatively busy, especially during lunch and dinner. Only downside is their hours are somewhat wacky but I'm almost positive it's because this place is nestled close to LSU's campus and they're somewhat seasonal for when classes are in session and/or whenever it's football season. (ie: I think they're closed on Saturdays sometimes). To-go food is also just as good and plentiful when you get it home!

Man at the table next to me ordered Tripe on the side. Good to know what your options are!

This is my go to sushi place mostly for convenience. Rock-n-Sake is actually closer to my place but Drunken Fish has better parking and I don't feel as awkward dining alone there. The people are friendly and upbeat and the rolls are delish - never any complaints. When you walk in there a sign with the special rolls and daily specials and there's also a full menu with lots of other dishes. Aside from sushi the only other menu items that I've ordered were shrimp fried rice and The sautéed edamame appetizer. The sautéed edamame is the best I've ever had at any place. It's a must try and dare I say one of the main reasons you should try the Drunken Fish. If you're a Pho lover you have several options there as well. Don't judge but I've never tried Pho but one of my dinner companions orders it every time and seems to enjoy it there. The physical layout of the place consists of two separated rooms, one with the sushi bar on the far right side with the hostess station by the door and one solely with dining tables. Both offer a lot of space with the tables an adequate distance apart so everyone's not on top of each other. The wall are painted a bright yellow with the expected artwork, a hint of LSU aesthetic. When I first started going there, the yellow seemed like a harsh choice but now it doesn't bother me as much. And, of course both rooms have flat screen TVs on the walls, one definitely has two. I'm not a big fan of the blaring TVs but it's hard to find a casual restaurant to without them these days. If you're one to judge a place by the bathrooms, no problems here. They're a nice size, bright and always clean.

Some of their options are good but don't go here for pho. The pho is very plain. Sushi is good but not the best sushi restaurant.

When we were told to sit wherever, we picked a booth with chairs. Right before I sat down, I noticed a giant toe nail clipping...then I thought to myself "Okay, may be just from another customer, just brush it off." Then the waitress brought the menus. The menus looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages. The walls were splattered with sriracha and hoisin sauce. After placing the order, our waitress came back with utensils. I was still trying to keep a positive mind because I hadn't gotten our food yet. The utensils were filthy. There was some dried up vegetable on the soup soon. They barely gave us any vegetables for the pho. Once our vermicelli noodle dish arrived, I immediately notified a LONG WHITE HAIR. The pho broth was overly sweet and overpowered the richness of the beef. The rare steak was thick cut and tasted too chewy.

Enjoyed my visit here for happy hour. We ordered the Rib Stack, Hot Honey Wings, Veggie Fried Rice,…read moreHot Honey Chicken Bao Bun, and Crispy Fish Bao Bun. Overall, everything was good. The standout for me was the veggie fried rice. It had great flavor, and I'd honestly come back for that alone. The Snake Wrangler drink was also a favorite. The only downside was the hot honey. It was very light on both the wings and the bao bun, so the flavor didn't come through as much as expected. Service was efficient and attentive. It's a nice, quaint spot with a cozy patio and indoor seating. Still a solid happy hour option, and I'd definitely return.

Started with hot sake and crispy pig ears. Perfection as always. I tried the new moon fire…read moredumplings...no steam or heat coming from them upon arrival. Try one and they are stone cold but good flavor. I asked Courtney the server if they were meant to be served room temperature (first time having so wasn't Sure). She takes the whole bowl. A nice little bit later my bowl is returned just as my tikka masala queso Is arriving. From the looks of my bowl and the broth it was nuked. Heated in the microwave which was annoying bc I wanted to try these fresh for the first time and also more importantly I ordered them with intentions of eating 2 now and taking the other 3 to go so I could enjoy my queso there. Dumplings can't and shouldn't reheated multiple times over and especially not even once at the restaurant that's serving them. I was honestly just hoping they would have dropped a fresh hot spoon or two of the broth : sauce they were in. Very upsetting for the evening because I was excited to try something new
