Spent a weekend on the bourbon trail, and this place was the food/service highlight of the weekend! We went looking for some good southern comfort food and our expectations were exceeded. Every item tasted was so good that we immediately made the rest of the table taste it as well. Generous portions, excellent prices, amazing food. Every entrée, every side, just amazing. And the pie! So good we had to get a couple extra pieces to go to snack on later. As a table we had fried catfish, a ribeye, country fried steak, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, baked tomatoes, green beans, creamed peas, french fries, cornbread, hush puppies. All of us simultaneously felt we had the best order on the table, and order envy for what was on everyone else's plates. It was that good. The only rival to this amazing food was the people and service of those working there. Everyone was so friendly and warm, it was like having dinner at family's house.
