My husband needed his suit jacket dry cleaned and this was the closest place we could go to that worked with our work hours (9-5ers). Overall, we don't use drycleaners that often so as far as the quality and timing of work, we don't have anyone other experiences to compare to. His jacket looked good and the amount of time it took for the jacket to get cleaned made sense. We needed it by a certain day and I didn't know dry-cleaning takes a few days to complete so good thing I went in early. As mentioned earlier, we also both work 9-5s so this was the only place we could go to for drop-off and pickup that works with our hours. Since it's on our way to home as well this was the only convenient place we could go to. So in the end, the work they completed was satisfactory. The reason why I removed two stars is the customer service. I went in and this lady was blasting a radio or show full volume on her phone. There's nothing wrong with that, but what was wrong was that she just left it on while talking to me which caused a listening problem for her. Both my first and last name are very hard to spell if you don't have a lot of experience with Japanese name(s) so having to spell it out letter by letter is something I'm used to. But the fact that I was practically yelling at her over the counter trying to drown out whatever she was listening to in the background made me frustrated and anyone walking in would think I'm the bad guy. Eventually, she turned off her phone but that took too long when it should have been turned off when I walked in the establishment. To save me the aggravation of my last name, I just pulled out my ID so she could follow that. I also knocked another star off for no communication. She took down my name and phone number and gave me a date and time to pick-up and she said she would call when it's ready. Monday comes around...no call. Tuesday...no call. Eventually by Thursday there was no communication and my husband had to go in himself to pick it up, but who knows how long it's been ready waiting for us to pick it up. Maybe she didn't put my phone number in correctly because of the loud noise in the background as mentioned earlier. In the end, this was our second dry-cleaning experience in years and they get the work done but could really work on the customer service and communication. read more

Lots of parking around the store so drop off and pick up is easy. The staff who assisted me was friendly and professional. When I told her that I wasn't going to be on island for the pick up date she said it wasn't a problem. They will hold it until my return. This was my first time trying this place and I needed two of my blazers dry cleaned. The shop is located outside of foodland with lots of parking. Things to keep in mind: 1. Pre-payment is required 2. Pick-up takes about a week The sales clerk Rebecca was kind and gave me a discount of 20%! So I ended up paying $28 instead of $32. I'm not too sure if this is reasonably priced or not (because it's my first time at any dry cleaners). But overall she gave amazing customer service. Go there at your own risk! I brought in my favorite top to be dry cleaned and it came back with black sharpie looking marks on the white areas of the top. I decided to try dry cleaning services to help preserve the quality on a pricey Nike set and this was the first time having my items cleaned. I was quoted a week for processing, picked up my items and a piece of the zipper was missing. I was then quoted another week for a manger to reach out to me to give me options for the damage. A Manager called me and offered to try and "fix" the damage but I would need to sign a waiver stating they are not responsible for any damage Decided to just take the loss. If I could give a minus 0 this business would Have earned it! Absoultley worse dry cleaning and Laundry on Oahu. I recommended this small shop thinking lets give the mom and pop shop support. I Love to support my community if possible. M y husband had a business trip out of country so he asked to do a rush on his shirts he agreed to pay 25% more, That was not a problem. The problem was when he got them back one was torn or snagged. It was a custom fit shirt for him 250.00 never been cleaned . Then the other shirt that he needed to wear was not pressed correctly . Collar was wrinkled and the wrist area was terrible. I asked to speak with a manager they gave me the names of 2 people, I called and left messages no one ever returned my calls. Horrible service. They charged my mom $20 to dry clean a midi frontal zipper dress. It's never been more than $10 at anywhere else we've been to on the island. The price is outrageous for something that takes a week to complete. If it was a one day turn over period I'd pay $20 but for a week it's not worth the price at all. read more

I wanted my wedding dress preserved and put in a clear box so we came here. It was not spacious inside, very clustered from what I remembered. Something people don't tell you is to budget for the preservation cost if you plan to save your dress. At the time my friend had yelp and we planned on using her 25% discount to which they did not honor. She said her machine only allows 20% discount... When it came time to pick up my box, I had expectations that the dress would be sealed airtight and the box wouldn't open..but the door flap swang open and on the side of the box was the opening to the dress. Young and naive at the time, I wish I had said something but I didn't think they would refund me.. So instead of it being displayed, right now I just put a ton of my crap on top to prevent air from the box opening.. Hopefully it'll still be beautiful and my future daughter or granddaughter can cut a piece to use on her wedding dress.. read more

HUGE rip off! I walked in wanting an inch and a half taken off the bottom of a "gown". Mind you, the material is regular cotton, nothing fancy. She asks me where I got this dress from and I said it was purchased online, she then goes to say that it looks like they dress was just cut on the bottom because it's "crooked". She mentions this to met about 3 times. It really doesn't phase me because it's a bridesmaids dress that was purchased for $35. In only wearing it once and all I need is an inch and a half taken off. She then goes to tell me that it's going to cost $60 to hem. JUST TO CUT AN INCH OFF!! Then she tells me that she will drop it down to $40. $40 to cut off the bottom of a dress, not including a fancy hem. Something I could clearly do myself with a good pair of scissors. I just went back today because one of the hems on a pant leg came apart. their response, if you wash it that happens and we can fix it for 1/2 price. Um, no thanks . . . I've had simple alterations and gown alterations done here and I'm content. Coming home from a trip to the mainland, I needed to get a wool coat cleaned. This was the most convenient place since I pass by a lot doing my errands. This is a tiny kiosk like building, the lady was pleasant and gave me the date of pick up (three days later). I actually went back a week later. The coat looked clean but the odor was horrid! Like moth balls or something equally strong scented. Well, I did some research on this and how to get rid of the smell. Apparently, the chemical used can linger if the cleaners don't dry it out completely. On top of that I think that the odor intensified since the coat was wrapped in the plastic bag for a few days longer because I didn't pick up as soon as it was ready. I always air out my dry cleaning because of the chemicals trapped in the bag. Anyway, the suggestions were to return it to the cleaner who should remove the smell free of charge. OR, air it out for a few days, this is what I decided to do. It took about four days to completely get rid of the odor. read more

My family usually goes here for hemming & this is my second time being here. The ladies are always nice & welcoming & they do a good job. However, this time when I checked in on yelp, a 25% off coupon popped up saying "25% off your order". It mentioned it may only be used in the Waipio location & it cannot be combined with any other offer. The lady at the front had to call someone for approval & that lady spoke to me. At first she was telling me she doesn't see any yelp discount & it doesn't even show up (but it obviously is there, I can see it right on my phone) & then she said she found it & told me that offer isn't valid anymore & it was only for 2012. THEN WHY IS IT STILL UP THERE WHEN I CHECKED IN? Talk about false advertisement. It says nothing about it expiring & even the lady at the front was saying she should of honored it this time since we both seen the coupon & it didn't exempt alterations or have an expiration date. Also, the coupons on THEIR website seem to not be valid either! It mentions 9.95 for pants hemming & 2.50 more with cuff. A lot of places honor coupons if you just show it on your phone. This one clearly did not have an expiration so I don't see why it would matter. The online site gives you the option of printing it out, but it doesn't state that it HAS to be printed out. OH WELL.
