They were fine, nothing special, but acceptable. I brought in a sportcoat and hoped they could finish it in 4 business days, but that wasn't possible and they instead quoted by 8 days. Not a huge deal, but not ideal. It was twelve bucks, which was a bit on the high end, but again, not terrible. The service was quick to drop off and pick up, so that was good. There's not a ton of parking nearby and it's mostly paid, but there are some free spots in the residential neighborhoods a couple blocks away. read more

I had a big (queen size?) down comforter that I had been putting off getting cleaned for a while... No specific stains, just generally yellowish and the down was getting flat. I brought it in, and because of its size, she said it might not come out well or be hard to clean. I left it with her anyway, and wow was I impressed! It is fluffy and bright now, and my cat and I are super happy to cuddle with it. The woman who was at the counter was very nice to me throughout. I think she must have had some nasty customers in the past so she's a little discouraging, but I thought she did an excellent job, I'm really impressed. read more

UPDATE: I have been a customer of Nancy and her sons for two decades. She has been hit hard by the Shelter-In-Place shutdown. In May, she reopened to nearly full-time hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Now that the hair salons and takeout situations have stabilized around the nearby restaurants, I am hoping that she benefits from the foot traffic. I recently had her dry clean a dress with leather accents. It was done beautifully because of the preparations she made. She also altered my husband's suit jacket and the tailoring was impeccable. I very much recommend her. She is congenial, friendly, honest and her work is fabulous. She also hand-sewed a line of facemask for adults and children. I highly recommend her. read more

This jacket costed me quite bit of coins because I loved it, and for about 6 years ive worn it every fall - spring. so i valued this jacket a lot until this started happening. I wore it less and less because i was embarrassed. First i went to LEVI store in Emeryville and first of all I did not trust their storage system. Things were out while customers were walking around in the retail store. So I said forget this I'll go to this place near our place and that was DRY CLEANING TIME She was very kind and patient. She even suggested a great idea how to cleanly fix the issue i was having, which Levi store couldn't even stop to think for a second for a solution. But dry cleaning time did. She has knowledge. She said about 3 days and exactly 3 days it was ready. And magnificent result. Fresh like wrapped in plastic, clean, sleek edge. I completely trust this establishment now. Came here to drop off a dress for my best friend's City Hall wedding. There was a very nice woman working there who helped me quickly and confirmed she'd be able to get my dress done within the few day turnaround time. Pick up was easy - it was $20 for a dress with a separate belt piece, and everything looked really lovely. My only complaint is that the hours listed here/Google were not correct, and they had a sign outside with the correct hours. It's so hard to know where to go when you have a fancy dress to alter, a wedding to attend, and not much time to get everything done. Nancy was really helpful. She hemmed the bottom of my long, floofy dress and even helped recommend "bridal tape" to keep it secure in all the right places. It was pricey to have it altered and cleaned - $60 - but comparable to other places in the area. All told, great customer service and a good experience. HORRIBLE SERVICE, BAD QUALITY CLEANING AND THREATS/INTIMIDATION WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION AND WANTED A REFUND. I brought in an expensive chiffon dress, which the owner said she could clean. I got the dress back with a huge metallic grey stain on it, and when I brought it to their attention they told me it was already there when I brought it in and I had probably not noticed it. There is no way I would not have seen this, as the dress is yellow and the stain is dark grey. The owner insisted that I had put the stain there, not them, and she would not refund me. Here is the part that should REALLY make you want to take your business elsewhere: After talking to her on the phone for about 15 minutes, I finally told her I would not be coming back and would never refer her business to anyone I know in the area. Her son then grabbed the phone and screamed at me, telling me to "just come get my clothes and never come back", and that he "knows people like me, who just want to stir up trouble". He also very threateningly screamed that I should come "deal with him" and that he would "take care of me". He sounded like he wanted to kill me, when all I wanted was a refund for a dress they utterly ruined. I never once raised my voice on the phone, talked condescendingly, or got heated up, so I definitely feel I did not deserve to be yelled at or threatened by this woman's son. I also got back a burgundy colored sweater with white dog hairs all over it. I don't own a dog, so I know this was not because of me, and after repeatedly denying it, the owner finally broke down and told me it probably happened because the company THEY SEND THE CLOTHES OUT TO (that's right, they don't clean the clothes you leave themselves, even though they tell you they do) probably put my clothes in a machine with someone else's. According to him, it's "very common to get your clothes back from a dry cleaner with dog hair on them" I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING THIS DRY CLEANER. THEY ARE NOT TRUST-WORTHY. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND YOUR CLOTHES COME BACK DIRTIER THAN WHEN YOU BROUGHT THEM IN. read more

This is your typical neighborhood dry cleaner, but I keep coming back to this place. I think it's because I just love the lady who owns and runs this place and her sons who help out. They are so friendly, and they remember me. :) When I walk in by myself, they ask me how my husband is doing. I'm not sure if same day service is even an option. I've never been asked if I wanted same day service. The quality of dry cleaning is pretty good. Minus 1 star, because the hemming job got undone only 1 week after once. Minus another star, because I really needed my clothes by certain day and they were done later. This place is great. I've taken jackets in to get cleaned two times. The first time, my bf had gotten motor oil on his warriors jacket and I brought it in. They were up front about what they'd try to do to eliminate the stain and let me know it may not come out entirely. The stain was still there a bit but what they did improved it significantly! The next time, I brought that same jacket in along with mine for an end of season cleaning. They remembered who I was and the jacket from the first time. They cleaned my white coat of all the various stains I'd acquired over the season (didn't help that the Warriors added a hurricane machine - aka blue slushy - at the bar this year). I had just purchased a suit at Macy's in downtown San Francisco. It was about 3:15 and I needed my suit pants altered right away to go to an event that night. Worst service I have ever had at a dry cleaner. I brought in a few items to get cleaned- 2 blouses, a simple dress, a black skirt, and 2 jackets. The woman (I believe the owner) had some reason why she couldn't clean any of the items. Apparently she doesn't want new business. She said she could not get stains out, she could not clean anything with beads, she could not get pilling off my coat- what is the point of going to a dry cleaner if they can't do anything?! The owner is a lovely person (Nancy, or Waah) who, along with her sons, keeps everything in order and checked over. If something is not cleaned to her standards, she sends it back. Since she couldn't restructure ME, Waah completely re-structured my bridal gown so that it looked like it was made for me.
