What a great little place with a heart of gold. This is a must visit. Great food, wine and beer. Not to mention the live music. Spend some time relaxing enjoying the brisket nachos. I forgot to mention Sebastian, our great waiter.

The place was very classy and upscale upon entry. Definitely the local spot for professionals getting off of work. The upstairs was closed and most of the tables were full, so we snagged a couple of seats at the bar. Service was amazing, the wine selection was great, and we definitely went the best route by getting two different small pizzas instead of one larger pizza. The ingredients were fresh and delicious! That first Italian red... it had such an interesting flavor! It honestly tasted like Italian sausage! I was not expecting it, but it paired perfectly with the La Verdad pizza. Perfect spot to grab a glass of wine and have some girl talk. We are definitely coming back soon!

I LOVE Copa! I frequently go here to meet friends, go on date nights, and pick holiday/special occasion wine. They always have fun, tasty new wines that can be sampled everyday in addition to a wine dinner every last Thursday of the month. The owner is so nice and is always available to answer questions but the staff is very knowledgeable too. Copa has great food and wi e specials and a pretty good happy hour. I have probably tried every food item on the menu and love it all. Great wine selection, wonderful service, cool atmosphere. I am a customer for life.

A lovely place in the middle of a sterile strip mall. I felt as if I had stepped into an tavern with all of the wood paneling and the lovely staircase. The staff was very attentive and knew the wines that were available and knew how to make good recommendations based on what I normally drank. I got an Argentinian Cabernet Franc that tasted spicy and complemented the charcuterie board I ordered. And speaking of, the meats and cheeses were out of this world. I will definitely be back to sample other things on their menu.

Loved the atmosphere and the happy hour is amazing! It was packed and there was one girl doing Mmmmm female server but she did a great job! She was very attentive even when it was packed. I loved the wine she recommended. We will be back for happy hour again, the hummus was also a delicious snack.

Great for a date night! Good food, standard charcuterie board. The brisket nachos contain exactly 8 nearly organized and loaded chips.

Copa is fantastic. One is SATX's best wine bars easily. Fantastic selection, super friendly and knowledgable staff and MASSIVE pours. Great ambiance. Great 1st date spot, led to a marriage foe me :)

I really love this cozy wine bar! The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date or to come with your girlfriends and enjoy some of the most delicious wines. The selection of wines they have is massive, you can get lost in their wine list! So if you are not an expert like me, just ask the bar tender and he will guide you and get the wine you want. The place is very tavern-cozy-romantic-european like and I love it! The food is also very very good, I have tried almost every item in their menu and everything is delicious. This time we decided to do the bruschetta and OMG what a refreshing and tasting dish, I have tried many bruschettas but this one is one of the best; we also ordered "La Verdad" pizza, which means "The Truth", loved it, all the ingredients so fresh! If you want a nice, quite and romantic night, this is your spot!

This was a nice little cozy spot - recommend for date night or with girlfriends hanging out-there is a huge variety of wine from California to Europe! I am not a huge fan of wine - I did try a sparkling wine which was good and the appetizer was amazing!

I've ordered delivery from this restaurant before but this was the first time I've ate inside the bar. I love the old world European aesthetic inside. We had a bottle of Prosecco and a charcuterie plate here and enjoyed both. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. The cheeses and meats in the board were delicious and were accompanied by candied jalapeños, apricot preserves and baguette slices. They have an extensive menu of wines to choose from as well as some beers. They have an upstairs area as well that was not open when we went on a Saturday afternoon. They have televisions on the wall but it die as not have a Sports bar feel. This bar has a relaxed welcoming to all atmosphere.

After driving past this place after work for years, I finally went with a friend who loves this place. I've been missing out on this cozy, local wine bar! This is a great local place with a lot of wines available at different price points (generous pours). In addition to the variety of wines available, the food we tried was really good. They did a great job paying attention to the extra details to turn a simple dish into the next level. The Mediterranean dip had toasted bread and the fries included your choice of sauces. Both were so good and I'd immediately order again. We also tried the special crawfish stuffed mushrooms. Although I'm not normally a mushroom fan, I liked those and, again, appreciated the sauce that came with them. My friend and I were there for HOURS with many glasses of wine and our total bill was a little over $100. We were never rushed, service was great.

A Wonderful dinner with wine pairing for each course. The potato waffle with salmon and apple butter was a good combination with a pino gris, the delicious butternut squash bisque soup was complimented by very a smooth and tasty merlot, the glazed pork loin roast was perfectly prepared, moist and flavorful. It was paired with a robust pino noir. The desert of goat cheese mousse was accompanied by a sparkling wine. Service was good and efficient.

I will say the GPS got a little confused in the route for some reason and I nearly missed an exit and even the entrance (there was some construction going on) There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot was pretty full. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. She was very kind and patient with us. We were constantly checked in on, but not in a hovering way or a pressure to leave. Our food and drinks always came out in a timely manner. She made us feel well taken care of The drinks hit the spot, and the food was tasty. It was definitely a chill vibe/hang. We were there for hours just catching up, and we saw other happy hours, birthday parties, dates, bachelorette parties, etc Some tips: I did order a couple beers that they were temporarily out of, but there are so many beers to pivot to. Also, our server was incredibly helpful in offering other suggestions, similar suggestions, and asking the right questions to help land in the next alternative They are not open Mondays, and they're only open until 11pm Tuesday-Thursday (and Sunday). We did not have reservations and went knowing this. The hostess said it was a like 45 minutes to an hour wait. With being mothers day and all, we expected it. However they had a spritzer cart outside for the waiting patrons! Fantastic idea! It was warm but not too terribly hot when we arrived so we opted to brief look at their desserts and then went outside to a couple of tables. We then went to the spritzer cart and ordered a few drinks and it hi perfectly with the sunny weather. And after finishing the drink our table was pretty much ready. It was not even 30 minutes in waiting. Probably 20 minutes. We were sat at two round tables near the bar which was ok, but our daughter has a boot on for her foot but she managed ok. We weren't expecting that but it was ok. They didn't know. We were greeted by our server and promptly got our drink orders and all our food order. What we did was view the menu beforehand. We ordered three appetizers. The meatball ferris wheel, the grilled octopus, and Nonna's garlic bread. The drinks were all delish! The first app that came out was the garlic bread. I have to say is the absolute star of the food here. If you are here, please order it. It's the thing to have. And the butter that comes with it just elevated it to another level. It's that good. Actually better than the entrees in my opinion. The next was the meatball ferris wheel. This showcase the flavors of the entrees for me. It was indeed fun to see. Each meatball was really good and they didn't skimp on the meatballs here. It was very good and the temperature was perfect. The last was the grilled octopus. It was super tender and the sauce was good but we learned they used spicy peppers a lot in their dishes to bring out the flavors. This was the beginning and it was a solid level 1 of 5 of spice level. If you are not into spicy dishes they foreshadows a majority of the entrees here. The grilled octopus was great. And the potatoes go with it perfectly. For our meals, I got the spaghetti and red clam sauce which is spicy. My wife ordered the risotto pescatore, which is a seafood dish, and my daughter got the pork chop my way and she had it Parmesan style. The risotto pescatore came out first and it is supposedly spicy but because none of my family does spicy like me, the sis not as the peppers in the dish. And because of that, the dish tasted kind of bland and only tasted the seafood mixed together. Not bad but was unsatisfying unfortunately. So it's not the fault of the kitchen or chef. It's not made as listed so it will not really taste how it's supposed to m the server and manager pretty much came by and address the issue even though it's no fault of their own. They did offer her a side spaghetti l, which is more than enough at this point, because of all the appetizers we has filled up on. My spaghetti and red clam sauce was actually really good. I could taste the pasta being made in house. The clams with the spicy sauce was great and satisfying. The pork chop. It was just big. I mean hanging over the plate large. Our server and another server said it is big but that was the biggest pork chop they've ever seen come out of the kitchen. It was hilarious. But it tasted so good. Think chicken fried steak but pork chop. And it was delicious as well. Just too much for one person. Especially after all the appetizers! Dessert was the special they had for mother's day weekend. It was a raspberry tiramisu and it was so creamy and smooth. It was one of the better desserts I've had in a while. I also had a cappuccino and they was perfect as well. A great ending to to meal. We haven't eaten that much in a long time. The drinks and appetizers are spectacular. The entrees are good but not the stars of the show for us. But we enjoyed the food journey here!

Your choice of main with salad or dessert orrrrrrr for +$3 you get all 3! Our server asked us if we wanted bread, and we said yes. The complimentary breads were nice and warm- a mixture of freshly made white and a dried fruit nut bread. The dark bread with dried fruit/nuts was my fave and highly addictive lol Ordered : Baby spinach salad with Brie on the side- fresh spinach drizzled with a light vinaigrette and sprinkled with pieces of dried fruit and bacon. The breaded/fried Brie was ooey gooey goodness. Hubby had the Classic Caesar and he enjoyed it. Both salads were decent large bowl portions. Grilled miso glazed Atlantic salmon- fresh, earthy, healthy, and delicious! A good piece of salmon cooked to perfection in a mild miso glaze and topped with an avocado relish. Everything (the quinoa, toasted cashews, grilled bok choy, and salmon) paired and blended so well together. Pure delish. I was completely full afterwards, but hubby had some space for dessert. Choices for dessert were limited to 3 - crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, or toasted coconut mousse pie. We chose the dark chocolate mousse- absolutely beautiful! Dark chocolate was sinfully good, cocoa nibs added a slightly crunch, and the berries were fresh and plump. We were happily stuffed. Service was excellent and food delicious. We would definitely revisit.

Absolutely amazing!…read more I was here with some family from out of town for a dinner on a Monday night. We had a reservation and were seated as we arrived. The interior is kept very clean and the tables were set in advance for our party number. As for the food, it was PHENOMENAL! We were able to take advantage of the Monday 50% off wine special, which is a steal for a good bottle of wine. The server was friendly and was able to quickly ask around to find answers to all of our questions. I ordered the salmon-dairy free. It was possibly the best salmon dish I have tried to date. Everything was flavorful and seasoned to perfection. I was the only person in my party who had not been here before, but safe to say, I will be coming back!
