I came in here looking for some Montana moonshine- and came out with some fine bourbon whiskey. I started off in the whiskey section, but unhappy with what I was seeing, a clerk asked if I needed help, and that's when I was steered to the Montana section. It would've been nice to have some tasting notes, or employees' picks- they had nothing about the different liqours, other than the prices, which were clearly stated. There were plenty of varieties of liquors to choose from, all at almost the same price point. They had vodkas, cherry drinks, and lots of huckleberry stuff. The store was clean, and well lit. Bonus- no sales tax! Yippie! Taxation is theft. Parking was easy- it's on the edge of a bigger shopping complex that's all made of brick and looks handsome.

There was plenty of parking which is always nice. First thoughts were it seemed a bit disorganized. Or certainly not what we have experienced at other stores.  We felt that some items had limited selections otherwise we were able to get most of what we needed for our visit.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Gardner market…read more I was hesitant to go there because everyone said it was so expensive but I found the experience delightful. I wish I had gone there earlier in my stay just for the ambience lol. There are many things to question about Gardner Montana ;)However, the Gardner market was not one of them. Everybody in there was so polite and friendly. I couldn't believe it. Every time I asked for something everybody was incredibly helpful and there were some really nice ladies that were just totally friendly. The store is stocked to the brim. It has everything, at my hotel they were saying oh you won't find sunscreen or cream there but you know what they had every possible sunscreen and cream available!!! I was able to go there toward my last day and get things that I really needed like water and some sleeping pills since I was in a hotel that was very noisy! I would highly recommend the Gardner market to anyone and just remember when you're on a vacation things are more expensive because people are trying to make money in a small town so don't hold that against them. I love that market and if I lived in Gardner, I would shop there no matter what.

The food isn't super fancy or over the top like a lot of other places. It's simple, reliable, and delicious. The smashburgers are our favorite thing here and we know that every time we show up, we're leaving with a satisfied craving. I'm also a sucker for tots over fries so I like that it's an option here. We're not huge fans of breaded wings so those were just okay in my opinion. They also have old-fashioned milkshakes, I always try to share one and my husband always says no so let that speak for itself. We've probably dined in more times than I can count at this point and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

If nothing else, it's easy to kill time browsing or to stock up on your bottled spirits, beer, or mixes as you wait for your pizza. The sales are handled separately, though, in case you can't imagine pizza without a beer. For a small town, Manhattan Depot has a pretty impressive selection. I'm sure, the selections and inventory may be modified as they learn what appeals to the locals most. There was something available in every category, at most all price points. They also have the small bottles (airplane and mini-bar size) if you're not looking for a regular size bottle of anything. There are some coolers as you walk in and along the side wall, so you can get that chilled beverage while you nosh on the food next door.

The cigars were perfect and the prices were great! The employee at the front let us cut the cigars and packaged them pretty nicely for us as well. If you need a pregame pitstop or need to pick up a gift for someone before heading over to a party, I definitely recommend the cave. Their selection is the best and their employees are awesome.

I know a bad brewery when I try one but not so sure with distilleries. So bearing that in mind and if you go off of what the other reviews say for what's posted for Wildrye Distilling you will find as an average that they come in at five stars. So if there are more distillery snobs that came here they gave it a ringing endorsement as well as I am doing. Wildrye looks to be in a newer neighborhood and development of mixed business and housing. It's in a nice corner and it was probably one of the busiest places I went to out of all of the numerous places I stopped at in Bozeman. In fact it was so busy it took a while to get a drink order placed and the bartender informed me as such. So I took a seat and waited and got my order placed after a bit. The bartender was so aware of his customers and gave me a little bit of a discount on my drink for the wait despite me never complaining to him about it which was really nice of him to do! The drink I got was a really good one! It was the Basil Smash. And as the name indicates it is indeed loaded with basil. It was extremely refreshing and so very well made! I could easily have had another but I was starting to get into a time crunch and had to make a few other stops before closure but it was worth the wait and whenever I am passing through Bozeman again I will most certainly return!
