What a fun, cool place! Their parking lot was our pick up spot for Montana Whitewater Madison River Rafting. We tried three kinds of mules - huckleberry, rosemary and grapefruit, and Dry Hills gin and ginger beer. All were so refreshing! We for a side of hummus and chips. What a place to kick off tubing on the Madison (definitely choose this pick up and not the other one). They make these adult capri suns, which were awesome on the tubing trip. The bartender was super friendly, patient, and knew what she was doing. Love the space, in this warehouse type layout. Did I mention the drinks? They were awesome! read more

Although my plan was to pop in for a sample or two, things did not work out that way. My sons, however, did make it in after I departed and picked up a bottle of rye for me. While I can't speak for the distillery experience - the spirit quickly became my favorite. I love Redemption and Whistle Pig...and DHD rye was every bit as good if not better. read more

Nice building. Games to play such as foos ball, shuffleboard, pool and skee ball. A nice place to sit and enjoy a cocktail. My sister tried the Huckleberry Moscow mule, it was not as good as expected (we are not from the area and kept trying Huckleberry stuff... maybe huckleberries themselves don't have as much flavor as we assume). I think that the best thing about this distillery, besides the American Wheat Whiskey, was the people who own and run Dry Hills. This is a family endeavor, using locally sourced materials, wheat grown on a family farm. Jeff, the owner, and his wife (sorry, I didn't get your name) took time to visit with us and talk about the business. Having a personal conversation with the people in charge just makes the whole experience better for the customer. The bartender was also friendly...and they have non-alcoholic drinks if that's your choice. read more

We stopped in to shop for local spirits to take home as gifts. The staff were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up buying some whiskey bottles, so our flight was free. They have a large capacity tasting room with a pool table, windows to view the vats and outdoor seating. read more

I stopped by to check this place out on the way to a conference. Jordan was working at the bar. He was welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the business. I ordered a flight (tasting) of their house spirits. Jordan walked me through each offering. Each variety was tasty and unique. I was intrigued by the farm to table approach to the business, and the history that Jordan imparted. I purchased a bottle of their whiskey and their gin. Delicious, inventive cocktails. The space is open and comfortable for singles, couples, families, etc. We received great service from both the bartenders and food trucks. Love that the vodka and gin are potato-based. I'm also impressed that Dry Hills isn't in a rush to get a sub-par whiskey on their shelves to boost sales, but is resting it to offer a quality product.
