I don't like to write poor reviews but, here we are. The lady up front was about the only positive experience we had. I set up a wash, blow-dry, and scalp massage for my moms birthday. She had been feeling anxious about aging and we were headed out for a night of celebrating her by going to a show and dinner. I had hoped she would leave the Drybar looking and most importantly FEELING fabulous as the drybar is something she's always wanted to try. That did not happen. She left in literal tears. When I saw her, there was NO way the team member who did it and let her leave like that thought it looked good. When my mom mentioned, I don't think this is like the style I picked, they offered to fix it but to no avail. We got no refund or anything and my mom left on her birthday quote, "feeling ugly and old." We ended up rewashing her hair and being late to her own birthday event. I've been to 20plus Locations and everything about this location was horrible. No tp and dirty restrooms. The Music from Dj is cool but so Loud no one can hear each other. My appointment was at 6:15 pm and they took after I asked several times back at 6:35 the stylist I was in the bar discussing her love life loudly. My blow out was adequate but the whole experience was distasteful and frankly way below the bar of the Drybar set years ago. If you like to look good when you go out- you need this experience!! This place is able to service several wash/dry/styles at once. The decor is ultra modern with a feminine flair. One step in the door and you feel fancy :) The front of the salon hosts a chique bar with a designated bartender and specialty cocktails that are designed to pair with listed blowout styles - clever! The drinks themselves are beautifully served to match the decor, and moderately priced. The other side of the salon sits a dj both with an actual dj. Love! When you actually get called back to a chair for hair service- your stylist sits You down to discuss your ideas. If you need, each chair has a look book for ideas for all hair styles. Perfect for when you want to try something new. Then they whisk you to the back for a wash- their unique line of products smell amazing. Back in the chair- and just from watching- each stylist had been expertly trained in performing precise, beautiful dos in a timely manner! I've been going to the Drybar since September every other weekend. Incredible stylist Britteny mcdavid has been styling my hair since. My hair is curly and I think it's awesome that she is able to style my hair as it can not be styled the way straight hair can. She does exactly what I ask for and is gentle when detangling my hair. I can not stress the fact that my hair texture can not be treated the same as naturally straight hair from blow drying to combing even the correct amount of product. Every time I leave my hair is nice and flowly and not to mention it takes her about 1 hour to fully wash blow dry and style my hair. Can't get that service anywhere else. The care she not only puts in her work can also be heard in the conversation she has with you. My hair, It's never never weighed down and there is never too much product she pays attention to every detail and insures that my hair never is sticking up when I leave. Called this location to let them know we were running late. The bitch said that was fine. We get there 15 minutes late and were told NO ONE could do our hair, only dry styles. I've had to wait 20 minutes before at dry bar salons before getting attended to. What happens without the 15 minutes that the stylist was no available?? Ive used your products for years and gone to multiple locations. This was the worst service and experience. The front desk lady was a bitch and deserves to be fired. read more

Probably the best dry bar I've been to! I usually frequent 3 different dry bars in the Bay Area and am used to long waits and hit or miss quality. This was not the experience here! My friend and were going taken in at the same time and my stylist worked meticulously, yet effectively and we were finished in exactly 45 minutes at the same time. My hair looked amazing! I did a super sleek look and my friend did big bouncy curls. We both have opposite hair types so typically our blow outs last 3 hours top but our looks lasted all night for both of us even with the hot dry Vegas air and dance floor. This location also has a photo booth which was fun to pose in! and yes they did charge for drinks but with Vegas open container we walked in with our own canned beverages and no one turned us away. read more

One of the best things I've done in a while!!!! First timer- even first time to a blow out. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Washington was my stylist and she was perfect. I wanted volume and a little mess to my curls. I also wanted them to last for the rest of my trip to LV. She talked me thru the process so I learned how and knew what products she used and why. I ended up getting a blow dryer and product sample kit. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! I feel like I have a new head of hair. Triple Sec is my new fav smell also!!!! Thank you Washington! I absolutely love Drybar. I go to the one near my house often, and always leave feeling fabulous. If you haven't gone before and are thinking of doing so, then you are truly in for a treat. There were 2 things about this location in particular though that kept me from giving them 5 stars: 1) Champagne is $10 a glass. It's complimentary at my normal location in Texas, so that was a bummer. 2) Because the shop is in a mall, people walking by will sometimes stop and stare as you are getting your hair done. Feeling like a zoo animal takes away from the relaxing element of the experience a bit. We arrived nearly half an hour early for our appointment so I fully expected to have to wait, but was pleasantly surprised when they said they could take us straight away. We had tickets to see David Copperfield that evening, so I thought it would be fun to surprise my friend with blowouts so that we could glam up for the show. They washed our hair quickly and got us set up at our stations. They always have chick flicks playing on mute (with subtitles) and that day it was the Notebook (which I only half paid attention to since it makes me ugly cry). They also had a live DJ who was spinning all my favs including everything from Michael Jackson to current pop hits. Another unique feature is their full bar and cocktail menu which most other locations don't have. I kept it simple and stuck with bubbles, but liked having multiple options. I got big loose curls while my friend bumped up the volume with their Southern Comfort. We both looked great and had awesome friendly stylists. The total bill came to $160 including two blowouts at $49 each, one glass of bubbly, and a $10 scalp massage my friend added on in addition to tips for both stylists. We had a blast, and our styles held up pretty well the rest of the evening. They do their best to hairspray you for staying power, but needing a few touchups will probably happen and is normal. read more

He listened, took the time to do my hair the way I wanted, and didn't pull or overheat my hair and scalp. I've read so many bad reviews about the DryBar in my hometown, I was really nervous to finally try it out. However, I didn't have any options and my hair is too thick and unruly to do myself. I usually wear it natural but I needed it blown out and curled so I could look like a diva to see Mariah at Caesar's Palace. Man, Chantal HOOKED ME UP. I couldn't believe how good she had me looking when I left there. My curls were tight enough that they lasted a whole week. She was sweet enough to use the color shampoo that I bought in with me, too, with no issue. It was Valentine's Day, so there was a steady flow of ladies but she had me in and out in no time. The drink I had was strong and I had a really nice buzz. Totally worth the $17. I was sad my girls weren't there to enjoy this place. I highly recommend going to DryBar to feel like an absolute princess when you leave there. And partake in the cocktails, music and movies with excellent customer service and experienced stylists. read more

Truly the BEST Drybar in Las Vegas. My friends and I are locals and have tried every location and Planet Hollywood wins by a landslide. The stylist are truly incredible and I always feel well taken care of here. The salon is incredibly clean and you can tell they take pride in keeping up with it. We celebrated Christmas in Vegas and I decided to treat myself and my two daughters to a blow out. It was the first blow out for me. We schedule an appointment and one stylist was running behind, so my one daughter got started at about the time my other daughter and I were finishing. I wasn't very happy about this but the receptionist was very informative and apologetic. She also discounted our services without me ever even complaining. I think that's great costumer service. To be honest I was a little skeptical at first to visit this location after reading some poor reviews and due to the fact that they had just opened about a month before. I am a regular at Drybar and other blow dry salons in San Francisco so I had high expectations. I was in vegas for my roommates birthday and we decided to just go ahead and book 4 appointments figuring anything would be easier than doing our own hair after a full day of pool parties, we just wanted to be pampered and relax. We even added an extra appointment the morning of and they were able to fit our friend in which was great (it was a busy Saturday). We arrived about 30 minutes early and they took us almost immediately! I must have gotten lucky because my stylist was super funny and friendly and listened to all my needs and requests. (I have extremely long, straight hair that doesn't hold a curl very well). I ended up doing a half up half down with a top knot and it didn't fall out even after a night of clubbing until 5am..My curls did fall pretty quickly but I expected that. Was it the best blow out ever? No. But I will definitely return next time I'm in Vegas P.S. This location has a full bar and a DJ! That alone is enough to bring me back! read more

Loved this place! I was in and out under one hour. Stylists knew my type hair texture and knew what products to use. Stylist was professional and did a great job. I wish I remembered her name but she was the best. She gave me tips on how to keep my blow out looking fresh. She was very sweet and the shampoo they use smells amazing. She cleansed my hair several times to get any residue out as well. Loved the entire staff at the salon. As a barfly member of the Jacksonville location, I was able to get a sizable discount by singing up for a membership online. A single blowout is $49 here and $75 for two blowouts per month under the Jacksonville barfly membership (transfers to any location in the country). They suggest a $10 tip. I was able to schedule a blowout on a Monday night as well as Wednesday night before a nice dinner. Both stylists were very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire experience. My only qualm was that both stylists had very different interpretations of the same style. They each turned out very nicely! I highly recommend this location for any occasion! read more

Definitely torn on my experience here. There were 5 of us who were very excited to have our hair done. One of us has very short hair, so when we were booking (in person), she asked the girl at the front desk if it would be worth it for her to go. She said yes, they could definitely work with her. Well, I guess they did, but it was a waste of money and she ended up re-styling it herself. Luckily, they charged her for a men's blowout since she had such little hair. But, she made the decision to book the appointment, so that's not factored into my review. Just wanted to mention it. The girl doing my hair was okay, except she clearly didn't want to do the "half uptini" that I wanted. When I first requested it she said "oh... I have to check because I think that's extra" so I said "yes, I know. It's $70" - I was ready to splurge because I never do my own hair and I really wanted to look pretty. She didn't say anything else about it until she finished curling it and said she wanted me to look at it because she really didn't think I'd want it up. It was strange. Don't get me wrong - my hair looked great. There were lots of big curls. I agreed to leave it down, but mostly because she didn't seem into it. The girl doing one of my cousin's hair seemed to hate working there. We were sitting right next to each other, so I asked them both if they get tired of doing people's hair all day. My girl said she loved it, but the other girl went on a 5 minute rant about finding hair everywhere constantly when she gets home. She said how much she hates chunks of hair. It left my poor cousin feeling very uncomfortable. Another cousin was getting her hair done by the manager - who told her that they have really high staff turnover and they have a hard time getting people to come to work because they go out partying the night before. Case in point, I believe he told her that 4 staff members hadn't shown up that morning - which left another cousin sitting and waiting for 10 minutes until her stylist showed up. And apparently nobody had done the laundry the night before because they had to awkwardly take towels out of the pretty displays and everyone complained about "no clean towels" as they did it. (we were the first appointments of the morning) Overall it was a disappointing experience. I wasn't offered a beverage at all, despite that being part of their "schtick". And although my hair looked good when I left, I felt uncomfortable and awkward through my visit. read more

Arrived excited but as soon as I walked in at 2:20PM, the receptionist said I was late and missed my 2:00PM appointment. Not sure how my appointment got mixed up but my confirmation email was for 2:30PM while the system had me as 2:00PM. She was able to take me in but I was pretty disappointed because I was looking forward to a relaxing time but as the appointment had a mixup, I was unable to have a scalp massage. My stylist also was kind of rude to me about sitting in the chair correctly - I understand that she was trying to look out for me for not getting wet but I feel like it could be handled better and/or Drybar needs to get chairs that make more sense because it sounds like this is a common problem. I've only gone to a drybar once before so I couldn't recall that cold water is typically used but it kind of caught me by surprise. So I asked the stylist if that's typically what they do - instead of just telling me yes and the reasoning for using cold water, she told me about how the hotel toilets affect the temperature of the water and especially on sundays as people are checking out. So apparently each time someone flushes, you get extra cold water as you're getting your hair washed... For styling, I asked for the Mai Tai - I noticed she was curling my hair in pretty tight curls but I tried to trust the process. My stylist was also pulling at my hair pretty hard so it felt like my hair was going to be pulled out. I just wanted to get out of there at that point so I didn't say anything. When the styling was done, she just ran her fingers through the curls and that was it - they were still big bouncy curls vs the picture which was like beachy waves. Overall really disappointing experience and I would not go to this location again. read more

I've been to dry bar many many times. I own a lot of there products. My local one is in LA. I really needed my hair to kill last night I explained this when I walked in! I went in around 3pm. There was no wait. It appeared dead in there but eventually picked up . The lady who did my hair was sweet but sadly my hair style fell out by the time I walked back to the hotel, around 10 minutes. It wasn't raining. There wasn't humidity. I had an event at 6 and really couldn't go back to complain or say anything. I was explaining in the beginning how I really need someone who can handle ethic hair. I'm Puerto Rican and have thick curly colored hair. I need someone to be able to manage this. The front desk lady had told me the stylist she set me up with was going to do that. Just bad business with this next one: there was an event I was going to I had someone to do my make up. I kept telling this to the stylist. She felt compelled to tell me that she does hair and make up freelance as well. I felt pressured to follow the lady on Instagram, she saw me on my phone and asked me to follow her. I didn't want to appear rude after all she did have hot tools in her hand.i get trying to hustle and share people your work but come on. Let me see my finished product before you corner me into this. There seemed to be some type of a manger who walked around irritated asking people how their experience was. It seemed so disingenuous. So I said I'm fine just to get her away. I think they need to work on their warmth. Lastly upon check out It just seemed really rushed and really didn't feel like I was wanted to be there anymore. Really disappointed overall in my experience here but also with my hair :( Also this dry bar is a little more expensive than the other ones. After going back and forth on reviews at this location and the one in the cosmopolitan I'm so glad I booked at this one. Staff was super friendly, I was greeted & helped immediately when I walked in even though it was super busy. It was a bit loud with the music but it vibe'd well with the atmosphere. My stylist Brooke was super attentive and did a great job on my blow out. I pretty much gave her free rein to style it since I'm not super picky on what I like. I liked that she asked if it was ok to use product in my hair. Never had that before. At no time did I feel rushed. Love the style she ended up doing and loved the service! I decided to get a blowout before going to the club/concert that night. Made a quick appointment on my Drybar app and walked over to Miracle Mile Shops. The music was loud (I like), but no complimentary beverage (sad face) since they had a full bar available. I skipped the drink. My stylist was Miche/Mishay (I have no clue how to spell it). She was great!!! Very friendly, but genuine, and gave me some tips on natural hair dyes. She made sure I was satisfied with my tresses. I would definitely go back while on the Strip. read more

Just wanted to start this review saying that I LOVE Drybar!! I've been coming to this franchise for about 5 years, when I lived in SD I went to the Del Mar location and occasionally the La Jolla location as well. Now I live in Vegas and the miracle mile ship is def my favorite! All of the stylists I've seen there have been amazing!!! I wish I knew the name of my first stylist she was sooo nice and pretty she has the longest dreads and they suit her so well!! My most recent stylist was Princess she was also great and made my hair so flat and pretty!!! I'm mixed AA and the fact these girls can make me look so fabulous in such a short time is freaking incredible! And the membership is 10000% worth it!!! read more
