Everyone is so sweet! I love getting pampered! At first, I didn't know what to expect, but the ladies got me a drink, guided me to my seat, asked me what I wanted to have done for my hair, guided me to the wash station- massaged my head where I almost fell asleep! Then brought me back to my seat where I enjoyed a movie and nice conversation while getting my hair styled. They validated my parking ticket as well! Can't say enough great things! When I learned we were getting a dry bar I was very excited to try it out. It was exactly what I had hoped for. A place to go to get a quick hair style for any event or just to be pampered. Walking in the place is bright and airy. The hair wash experience was my favorite I could have fallen asleep with the head massage. Followed by a blow out and some curls. The whole blow out took 1 hour. I believe since they are new they are learning and you should plan for about an hour. It was 45 dollars for everything, which I feel is very reasonable. My hair lasted for a good two days, three pushing it. I recommended testing yourself to a blow out experience here when you can! read more

I have been here once before for a Yelp Event and was impressed enough to get a membership. $80 for two blowouts a month which roll over and can be shared as long as your there. So I saved mine up for two months and the day of my fathers funeral decided to treat my mom, sister and daughter to blowouts to look their best for the sad occasion. So, I'm on the fence. The good: -It's a super nice, relaxing environment. -The scalp massage while you're getting your hair washed is really nice. -Dry Bar products are awesome. -My stylist gave my hair a lot of volume which is something most stylists I go to have trouble with. -My stylist managed to give my hair a tiny bit of a wave with a blow dryer and round brush- something I have never ever experienced before! -It was raining when I left and I was given a complimentary umbrella. The not so good: -When I got my hair washed, a ton of water got on my face. Like, enough to take off a little of my water-proof mascara. -I wanted a curly/wavy style. I got more of a tousled style. I think this is my main issue. $45 for a blow out is totally reasonable but for that, I should have had curls that lasted at least through the day. An hour or so after I left, they were reduced to barely anything. I can curl my hair at home and get a better result that I got here, unfortunately. There was more good than bad at Dry Bar and my hair didn't look bad but what I came here for was an awesome long lasting blow out/ curled style and I didn't get that. read more

Shampooed and conditioned from root to ends, from there I knew the service wouldn't be good. I left and my hair was filled with product to the point that it looked greasy. I had to completely redo everything at home and that was even after asking my stylist to fix things in the shop. It was just beyond repair. read more

I had a big wedding to work this weekend that was being filmed so a trip to the dry bar was just what I needed to feel refreshed from my everyday look! Taylor was so kind from the very beginning. She explained everything on the "menu" to me and it was a hard choice but I went with the Mai Tai. After a relaxing wash, she went to work on my thick hair. There was always someone checking in on us if we needed anything and everyone was smiling all around. The best thing is you're able to park in the garage right next door and get validated on the way out. Their prices are phenomenal! Other than being in a wedding, I've never just had my hair done. My girl Kayla was amazing! When she took me to wash my hair she asked if I was tender headed and I said yes. She did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable and not hurting me. It was so soothing that I actually closed my eyes and just enjoyed the experience. They give you a booklet to choose which style you want and she did a great job achieving that. Really neat place. read more

I have been to many Drybars from Chicago, Scottsdale, Louisville, etc This was the worst experience I have ever had. Showed up for my scheduled appointment at 4:00 and wasn't taken back till 4:35. Had to cancel dinner reservations with my daughter. The stylist who did my hair was anything but friendly, talked under her breath, and was annoyed that I asked for a few touch ups. My hair was left flat, with caked on product. Had to wear a hat. When you are paying 50 for a blowout, at least be polite, Precious! read more

absolutely awful. The stylist didn't wash my hair well, it still looked dirty when she was finished drying but I was on a time limit and it took her around half an hour to rinse my hair (she used shampoo but I swear it did nothing my hair did not look or feel clean). It took over an hour and a half for her to complete, and it didn't even look good, but because it took so long for the stylist to do my hair I had to leave with it as it was. Then to make it worse all my curls fell less than an hour later (I didn't do anything that would've made them fall I just drove home and put on makeup only to notice my hair had gone flat). I ended up having to totally redo my hair because of how bad it looked and it made me late for my event. I'm absolutely pissed and do not recommend going here to anyone it's an absolute waste of money and time. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Drybar this past weekend. I made my appointment on their app and wow so easy! When I arrived for my appointment the lovely host greeted me with a smile on her face offered me a drink and I met my stylist! Now this is where it gets exciting they have a book full of styles to choose from. How fun is that!!! Then I got a lovely wash, so relaxing and was taken back to my seat to pick my style. I obviously chose a Mai Thai and she got started on my hair. The atmosphere is so fab, the tv are rolling with fun movies and the stylist are so nice. I walked in there looking like my hair hadn't seen a wash in decades and I walked out looking like a Wilhelmina model. I will be back soon & plan to make this a regular routine. read more

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience at this Drybar. I have been to multiple Drybar locations across the country and this is the first time I have had a bad experience. I will start by saying that the location and space were super clean and cute. The staff was friendly as well. The reason for the two star review is because my hair did not turn out anything like I requested. I asked for the cosmo-tai. The front of my hair was tight curls (which turned into a tangled looking ball)and the back half loose waves. It was a disappointing mess. read more

I stopped by today before my graduation and got a great blow out. It was my first time at a dry bar and definitely not the last. My only issue I had (which kind of turned out to be a big one) is that I was told the appointments last 30-45 min and I was there for an hour and 20 min and there was no one else there except me. Definitely something to keep in mind when you're going. Still, a great experience and will definitely go again just sometime when I'm not in as much of a hurry. read more

Drybar is the best blowout in Lexington!!! Going in for my appointments is always the highlight of my week. The staff is so friendly and does such a great job, giving you flawless hair that'll last for days! My favorite style is the Mai Tai!! I'm never one to leave reviews,but Drybar is amazing and does a great job. When I went in I was pleasantly greeted at the front desk and was offered coffee, tea or water. All of their products that they used have a great smell to them and my stylist was super nice. They're very accommodating to everything you need and are so welcoming. My stylist did an amazing job and my hair turned out beautiful! Can't wait to visit again! read more

The first time I visited Drybar, I had a great experience. The stylist quickly understood what I wanted and was skilled at getting it done to exceed my expectations. I thought today's visit would be close to the same. I instead I had an incompetent stylist. I could tell I was in trouble as she started drying my har in a very messy uncontrolled way. She didn't seem to know how to use a flat iron or curling iron . She made my hair a frizzy mess. I expressed dissatisfaction 2 times- and she just seemed perplexed and way in over her head. Like she has no idea how style hair which is very easy for stylists to do normally. I also told the receptionist I was so unhappy and she offered no resolution and simply asked how much tip I would like to leave even after I told her I was now unexpectedly in a huge hurry. to get home and redo the damage the stylist had done to my hair. It was so bad that I had to go home and shower and repair the mess made. I am just sick that I wasted my time and money on the operator who clearly wasn't experienced . I guarantee there have been numerous other complaints as I am not picky- she was just that bad. I won't be back. I was late to an important function due to having to go home and do my own hair. read more
