My Amana washing machine needed help. It was "walking" and so loud when in use. I knew I couldn't…read moreput it off any longer. I had to get it looked at. The reason why I put off getting it looked at for so long was because I didn't know who to call. There are so many appliance repair companies out there. I was afraid to pick a dud of a company and get scammed. I was hesitant at first to select More Than a Fix Appliance - Irvine because there were only three 5-star reviews on Yelp. I decided to call anyway. My call was picked up right away. Mak came out to take a look and diagnose the problem. One week later, Kyle came to fix my washer with the part that my washing machine needed. I appreciated that both of them texted to let me know when they were on the way. Kyle was so knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions about my washer and dryer. He gave me some great tips. He even took apart the top of my dryer to see if there was lint build up. What great customer service!

My dryer stopped heating so I found More Than a Fix because their reviews were great. I couldn't believe that they actually make calls on Sunday's So they sent MAK out and she was so sweet, she explained everything that she was doing and her professionalism was suburb. She even showed me the secret place on my dryer where you can see the flames working. I'm so grateful that I chose your company & you have a client for life . I truly trust your company and will refer you to anyone that's needs their appliances fixed. Thank you for sending MAK to me you're very fortunate to have her on your team She rocks, Best Regards, Janyne Wiley

I received a call from the young man who did my washing machine repair, asking how the machine was…read moredoing and if it was working properly and yes, it is. He also asked about my review and apologized for both the issue with the price being higher than expected as well as the dirt left in my laundry room. He offered to refund the additional $60 over the estimate and I agreed. He was very nice and apologetic about everything and immediately sent me the money. I sincerely appreciated the follow up and response and will keep them in mind for future appliance repairs.

Everything started out good. Wertax was the first business to reply to my Yelp project, and his…read morereplies were professional. In my replies, I thoroughly explained the problem: "Samsung dishwasher not cleaning properly, leaving small debris specks. No grinder, filter and spray arms already cleaned. Suspected drain or recirculation issue. Dishwasher age: 5-10 years. No error codes displayed." He offered to arrive the next day (a Saturday), but I requested the following Monday. His fee to diagnose would be $70, which would be waived if I used his services for any needed repairs. He gave me a two-hour arrival window, and he arrived within that window, dressed professionally. That's where the good ends. He proceeds to get to work. He ran a cycle and periodically interrupted the cycle to make sure the dishwasher was working. He then finishes and tells me, "it works. I don't see anything wrong with it. If you want, I can replace the sump pump but its expensive, around $550." Note that this does not address the reason I hired him in the first place. I KNOW that the dishwasher operates, it's just not operating very well. He does not explain what a sump pump is or does, nor does he address the specks of debris left over on my glassware after the cycle ends. I ask about this, and he literally said, "that's weird. I don't know," then he reminded me that the diagnosis fee was $70 and took out his phone so I could pay him. It was apparent from the moment he arrived that he did not give a shit about this particular job. I'm pretty confident he wanted to be in and out quickly so he could collect his $70 and be on his way. Me? Oh I'm left with a dishwasher that still doesn't clean well, but for $70, I was given the professional opinion that "it works". Two stars only because he didn't literally slap me across the face.
