She came back with a manager who said that they would honor the original price of $110. They asked if two weeks would be ok, I said no so they said they would rush it. After two weeks I called to see when my ring would be ready. The person I talked to said it wasn't started and would take a few more weeks. It was at this point I asked for a manager. I got a call back from Dorian who proceeded to try and blame me for the situation saying I had only brought the ring in a week earlier (July 9th), he also tried to stay that the repairs center was running behind so my ring was forced to be done in August. I demanded that they give me an exact date when they would get me the ring and that they expedite it like they said they would. I got an email back saying that it would be done Friday the 16th. When I went to pick it up it took another 45 minutes of back and forth because they had stamped the inside of the ring with the Tiffany & Co name when it originally didn't have it. I have also reached out to their corporate customer service and was told the district manager would contact me. They have not done so, which is just par for the course in the horrific customer service they have give me. Friendly owner and honest as he told me these watches were old French time pieces that are no longer made and due to the simple parts , it was an easy and reasonably priced fix . They have a bunch of old unique items that I bet are older then the Brooklyn bridge and I can see me purchasing a few when I go back soon when the watches are ready . He first told me it would take 15 minutes to replace the battery and so I waited. A few minutes later, he came back and said he needed to have his "watchman" take a look at it. So I put down a non-refundable deposit and left. That was Monday. By the following Monday, I had not heard back and I was nervous because I would be departing NY. So I called and the same man (I recognized his voice) told me someone would be getting back to me. Within an hour or two, a woman phoned me and said I would need to come down and put a $20 deposit toward getting the watch fixed. She quoted me $100 for final cost. I ended up zelle-ing her the $20. She also told me the watch would be ready by Thursday. The woman was very nice. On Wednesday, the woman called and said my watch was ready. I went in to the store and paid the remaining balance--80 dollars. All in all, the whole cost-of-repair was $115. My watch works fine.
