The DSW designer shoe store was stock full of inventory today.They have a wide variety of all types of boots and shoes. Unfortunately, the quantity is not matched by the quality. It is a good location to see a huge amount of different styles. It is interesting to see how heels heights are varied. If you find the right color, good luck, finding the right heel height and vice versa. This establishment is the type of place that you have to check out on a regular basis, as they are always getting new inventory. read more

Normally when you've gotten to the register after waiting for 20 minutes in line, and something is wrong with the shoes, and you need to go grab another pair, they usually let you go back to the front of the line. Do not buy Madden Girl shoes. I repeat..do not buy from this brand. They will fall apart on you within days, maybe weeks. I purchased these boots a week ago for $70. As I was walking on the side walk, I took a step down from the curb when they decided to fall apart on me, almost causing me to eat the pavement. I'm absolutely floored.......super super disappointed....other than that the staff were kind and helpful. Wish I could get my money back for these pieces of trash....... read more

Not much inventory on their clearance racks if you're a size 12. The regular priced items are what you'd come across at any other DSW. The overall aesthetic of their men's selection says "working class" instead of high-end values. If Mercanti is the best shoe you'll find here, then you probably need to start shopping online. Mercanti's are a great mid-range brand, but it shouldn't be your best brand. Expect less... read more

Unlike the reviewer below, I had a fantastic experience with Rebecca, who went above and beyond to help me with a possible identity theft situation (someone else used my rewards account in this store....I live in Florida!) In terms of shoe stores, this place is by and far the best. Their selection is great and diverse. Things are neatly organized by style - heels, flats, boots, slip ons, sneakers, etc. The giant clearance section is in the back complete with bags, jewelry, and other accessories. Overall the store is great, but in terms of service it lacks. If you need help finding anything there is no shortage of people around which really confuses me since it seems that none of them actually know what to do. The last time I went in there, I asked for a size 6 in a particular shoe I saw (yes, I have tiny feet, but not like I asked for a complicated width, size and style.) After waiting 10 minutes, no one ever came back, so I just continued my search down the aisle figuring maybe she's really digging for it. Then I turn around and she's in the next aisle helping someone else. I was so annoyed. So I called to her over the aisle and she just goes "oh, we didn't have it." Needless to say, if I don't see a size, I just presume they don't have it or order it on their website. Otherwise, great selection of shoes and bags. Easy location. Huge parking lot and conveniently located in the same lot as my favorite Starbucks and a huge TJ Maxx. read more

Rebecca was no help. She didn't offer to help, wouldn't help me look, and said they didn't have the shoes I was looking for. After 30 minutes minutes I found the shoes in 3 colors taking up 1/4 of an isle. At Checkout Rebecca again jumped in. She offered me coupons. I said no. She pushed again. I said no. She emphasized they were free. I declined. Then she refused to check me out unless I gave her my name and address. I actually had to raise my voice and aggressively tell her NO! I ordered two items from online, both to which I selected "Pick up in store option" My order came up to $34 for the shoes, and $17.01 for a crossbody clutch. I also immediately received confirmation of my two orders which were done at the same time, and also I could see my balance of $100 which I initially had on my gift card go down to right about $48. I was on my way to an engagement party but still had enough time to go and pick up my items from the nearby store to which I selected. It was what I thought an in and out process. I ordered these items around 8:30 in the morning on Sunday 11.25 went to pick them up around 12pm. When I got to the register, ID and order number in hand the cashier quickly paged her co-worker in the back for my order. I before getting in line had picked up a set of earrings and a ring. While my order was being looked for in the back, I purchased these two items in store to which I also used my gift card. The total came up to $22 to which left my card balance at just about the same thing $22. When my online order was placed in front of me, I quickly saw that it was just my shoes that were brought out. I didn't jump to conclusions so I waited, when she said "have a great day", I quickly said, I am missing my clutch. I showed her my email confirmation to which it stated it was ready for pick up along with my shoes, She quickly paged her co-worker again. This time I could sense that something was wrong because she began to look at the order number and the email overall and kept searching in her system. Again, nothing too serious, things happen, they probably are just not looking for it correctly, or at least that's what I thought. A manager walked to the front desk to ask me "Are you sure it said it was available at this store, and are you sure you got the confirmation". To which I didn't even reply, I simply just showed her the email again! ..She searched the system and said, "well we didn't receive it, it seems sometimes we have it but its in transit, it hasn't arrived" I was totally confused, yet wanted them to keep searching. Another worker came to the front to also question me, this time this co worker seems to be the person who takes care of shipment and receiving. At this point now I'm frustrated because now three people are questioning me when I have the evidence in front of them. He directs me to search the isle to see if I can find something similar. I didn't know what he was implying with this so because I was so frustrated I needed to take a little stroll. As soon as I got to the handbag isle the first thing I see is a well stocked I would say 7 if not more of the clutch that I ordered. Yeah, the one that they said they didn't even have in stock. The one that not one, not two but three associates verified and stated that neither the order number nor the item they had in stock. At this point now I am livid. I take the clutch and placed it on the counter to the cashier that first tended to me and said, " I found it, you guys are actually well stocked on them too",. No one apologizes no one sympathizes the fact that I have been in the store for nearly 30 min now. This is now counting against time for the event I had to go to. No consideration what so ever. She pages her co-worker again and states "the customer found it, do I cancel the order and re-ring the item?" So she looks at me and states I am just going to have to ring it out again. I am relieved yet I had one doubt, I asked her what was going to happen with the first purchase, is it going back on the gift card? to which she answers "it never went through the gift card so you will just have to purchase it again".....HUH?????? I told her check my balance on my card, she stated $22 I go about telling her the order total and the balance I initially started at and plus the earrings and the ring. Again to which the same three representatives had to look over and nothing was resolved they just kept me waiting and waiting. As I waited I contacted customer service to one have them confirm that it did go through and two make a complaint of this particular store and employees including management. I was totally disgusted. While I was talking to customer service my boyfriend being the "mediator" just repurchased the item (to which I didn't know until we got in the car, I thought they figured it out) When I learned about this I was already talking to customer service and I stated everything above, She apologized to me and stated that yes the purchase did go through for the $17.01 and that it was completely unprofessional what happened to me at the store. She was able to put a reverse request that will take about 3-5 business days and she was sincere and very apologetic. After all of this, not once did they apologize nor looked for further help from upper management, like a DM or a RM or even customer service. They were in a rush to just get me out of the store and not even deal with the issue to which they knew was not right. read more

F@$@&ing useless. Placed an order online to pick up at their store yesterday at 4pm. Said that it would be ready in 4 HOURS and I would receive a confirmation email when they were ready to be picked up. The store closes at 8, I received no email. Fast forward to today, at 11:30 am I still hadn't received a confirmation email. I call the store to ask what is going on and why my order wasn't ready to be picked up. They ask me what shoe it was and then put me on hold. After a few minutes someone else comes back on the phone and said they had to cancel the order because they didn't have the shoe in stock, when their website said they did. So when were they planning on telling me that they canceled my order? Which is just what I said to the woman, and her response was we just received the order today. Really? I don't f@$&ing think so, if I placed the order at 4pm YESTERDAY and your store closed at 8. Nice try though. Crap customer service, and completely useless. Never received an email saying the order was cancelled, and still haven't. Don't bother with their store pickup because clearly they are incompetent. read more
