    Chicken bowl and brown rice

It's a good fast casual restaurant. I liked my chicken bowl but it's not as good as other reviews described. They do have brown rice.

Located in the food mall downtown. So it's get your food and find a seat. Service was perfect. Friendly staff. Food was ready quick and was hot. Cucumbers were crispy and had a sesame flavor. The spicy pork was good as well. Would come back

This is located in the food court near the Target on Figat. I tried both their galbi and bulgogi bowls and both were great alone or when paired with their soy sauce. Note that during weekday lunch hours the line can get really long. The staff is nice and there is plenty of seating in the food court.

    Bulgogi with noodles

This is a quick service counter restaurant located within the Fig at 7 food court on the bottom level. The menu is simple. Choose a protein and rice, noodles, etc., sauce, and optional add ons. I ordered the bulgogi with udon noodles and it came with a decent portion of meat and noodles with a bit of vegetables. The meat and noodles were packed separately but in the same container which was pretty neat. I felt the noodles were oily so the overall meal was a bit heavy. I visited during lunch and received my order quickly. I was annoyed at the ordering process because I stood inside the stanchion area where the sign says form line here but the cashier chose to receive orders from people who started forming the line outside the stanchion after I was waiting in line. The cashier saw me waiting there but she didn't acknowledge or call me to take my order so I asked her where the line was. To my surprise she said the line was outside the stanchion area. She didn't offer to take my order next so I had to go to the back of whatever line she was taking orders from. That's terrible customer service. It wasn't busy and the ordering process was already this unorganized.

As a big fan of Parks BBQ I had high hopes for their fast food shop Oleego. I have to say that I was not disappointed. I love their containers which separates the protein (Galbi, Bulgogi, Salmon, Spicy Pork bulgogi, Chicken bulgogi, Shrimp, Tofu, Bibimbap) from the base ( White Rice, Brown Rice, Egg Fried Rice, Kimchi Fried Rice, Noodles, Mixed Greens) allowing you to mix as desired. I ordered the Bulgogi and noodles for $9. The beef was authentic and delicious. The noodles were ok, more like an udon noodle then I was expecting plus they were a little sticky but other than that it was a great quick lunch. I also opted for a side of white rice (always have to have rice with Korean BBQ) and one banchan (japchae). The Japchae was fine, flavorful, well-cooked - the perfect addition to my meal. With the side, banchan and a drink it came to just under $15 but still not a bad price for lunch in downtown LA.

Their Salmon Bowl with a side of kimchi. The salmon was good with the oleego hot sauce & kimchi but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary

Came here for lunch during my break from work twice already. I love that they're offered through the Ritual app which is a work perk at my current company. My only complaint is I wish they offered sides on the ritual app so I can add side dishes to my order rather than paying in person when I get there. Please note this place is tucked away in the food court of Fig & 7th so don't expect it to be exactly the same as what you'd get at Park's BBQ. Regardless if you're craving korean or KBBQ, this place hit the spot! Of all the options in the food court, it's my personal favorite. I recommend finding parking specifically at Fig & 7th Here's what I ordered: 1. Create Your Own Bibimbap Bowl with Beef: HIGHLY recommended. I read other reviews saying Oleego doesn't offer Banchan (side dishes) like other places so I mistakenly ordered a side of kimchi, cucumber & bean sprout which cost $1.50 each! So keep in mind, you probably don't need the extra sides I added to my order since the bibimbap did come with carrots, cucumber & bean sprouts. If I order again, I would just stick to the bibimbap as is & get a kimchi on the side because their kimchi is off the chain! 2. Salmon Bowl with side of kimchi: it was ok for what you get but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. If you're craving salmon or just looking to eat fish, it is still decent quality, especially paired with the Oleego hot sauce & kimchi. Overall, I would definitely come back here on a future lunch break to try their other dishes.

My go-to place for a simple and quick lunch at 7th & Fig food court tucked in the heart of busy DTLA. Gotta love the shrimp with green salad and spicy soy or spicy pork bulgogi with steam rice and spicy soy. Quick, fast and satisfyingly good!

    The cooking/grilling area.

We were able to order in the line, and got our food within 10 minutes once we finally sat down. I tried their handmade clam kalgusku soup and beef bulgogi. Both portions were generous. The kalguksu was incredible comforting, with chewy, long, freshly made noodles in a rich, savory broth that was packed with clams. The beef bulgogi was also delicious. It came with a side of salad and rice. The bulgogi was tender, well-merinated, and paired well together with the sides. We ordered the medium bossam, galbi kalguksu, perilla seed kalguksu and spicy pork. There were 5 of us but the portions were so generous, we had enough food with some bossam left over. The bossam was amazing! The best we've tasted. We all loved the perilla seed kalguksu due to its taste and also bc it's so healthy for you. The owner came by to check how we liked the galbi kalguksu since it was a newly created dish and we told her that it was delicious, seasoned just right. Before the meal, as they brought out the side dishes, they brought out barley rice with denjang on top to mix with yeol-moo kimchi. That was a special touch. We absolutely loved the food there. I saved the info so that we can return when we visit Koreatown again in the near future. Highly recommend this place to anyone who craves exceptional Korean food.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
