Stopped in for a quick battery change after finding them on yelp Parking/location: I love that it's centrally located, but it's on shepherd which is a stressful street for me personally. I had to wait a long time to be able to turn in and their parking lot is tiny. Backing out was quite a challenge too Service: [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a bit confusing when I walked in and not clear which counter to go to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I finally figured it out and they were quick to change out my battery. Took about 5 minutes Cost: I have a completely not special little watch and the battery replacement was about $13 which I felt was reasonable Other things to note: They do sell watches and clocks here It's freezing inside ! Nice little watch repair shop that was able to change two watch batteries for me in about 10 minutes. I inquired at a few different shops and this was the most reasonably priced. They take your watches at their counter and give you a quote. Then you pay when you receive your watch back. They accept both cash and card. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employees I interacted with were both friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only downside is their parking. Limited parking and backing out onto S. Shepherd can be a challenge with traffic. read more

Brought in a Seiko to get a fitter pin replaced because the watch bracelet kept falling off. When they replaced it I noticed it looked like the same damaged pin but they insisted that they replaced the pin. The next day I put the watch on and during a walk the pin fell out (spoiler alert they didn't fix sh*t)... and my watch fell and cracked the glass. Avoid this place. Super helpful with battery replacement and new watch band. Here from out of town, and multiple places in our own hometown couldn't handle this task, but it was no problem for them! I have one of the Pulsar original digital watches that had been my father's. I had taken it to another shop years ago that had seemingly damaged the mechanism to change the minutes. This is a long one!! I have a 1990's gold women's Breitling Sirius that has sentimental value to me. It quit running so I took it to a well known Houston Swiss Watch specialist that had always dome my cleaning and maintenance. Unfortunately, the owner had passed away and they said they could not repair my watch due to its age and their lack of vintage parts and advised me to take it to Breitling at the Galleria. Immediately headed over there and they said it would need to be sent to the Breitling main store in NYC. This was in February. I called last week to check on progress and was told my watch was "irreparable" due to age and they no long had parts and they would be returning it to Houston. I was so disappointed! My husband I I picked up my watch yesterday and headed to TLWS on my SIL's recommendation. I was hoping for an entire works replacement or maybe a "Frankenstein" cure or something. Oh my gosh!!!! A little bit of research, 15 minutes and $63 later my watch was off and running!! It was a simple battery replacement and a reset! The gentleman explained to me these vintage watches have a very particular set of steps required to reset the year, month and date and most people don't have the knowledge or the patience to do it. What??? Any way, I am thrilled! Thank you! Thank you!!! As a footnote, incredibly disappointed in Breitling and they will NOT be receiving a stellar review. 100% recommend! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A familiar staff that is very friendly and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I need a new battery or the bracelet adjusted - they'll take care of it within minutes - and at reasonable prices. They also have a very good selection of watches. The parking can be a bit tight on weekends though. If you live nearby - I'd recommend walking. This is a great shop and to me the best of small business possibilities. I have been here on errands for the boss but when my wall clock died I wanted it fixed even if it cost more than the clock did. It did not and I consider it money very well spent to have our big box store find for our first apartment restored. They even cleaned it and with that rope trim that was no small thing. Avoid this place. I called to ask about getting my G-Shock GA700 cleaned--just needed the face unscrewed, wiped down, and put back on. A simple request. I've had a few watches resized at this location, and this last visit I had a watch to resize that I got as an early Christmas gift. As I was receiving it from being resized, the African-American woman at the desk yelled very raucously "REPLICA!" staring dead at me and shaking the watch in the air. Not only was I mortified from being yelled at claiming i had a replica, I had no idea this watch was a replica and could've been told privately instead of publicly announced in front of everyone. very disappointing customer service. read more

Found this place that can replace watch batteries and decided to try them out. Their parking is a bit limited. We brought in multiple watches and they charged $13.50 each for a regular watch battery replacement. They took about 10-15 minutes to change. The inside is not that big with only two chairs if you needed to wait. They do have other jewelry/watches there for sale if you wanted to walk around and look while you're waiting for your repairs. Overall, if I needed a watch battery replacement, this is a solid option in the area. read more

Blown away by service and kindness!! Needed my engagement ring band reshaped as it was slightly bent. I had gotten a quote from a bigger jewelry store that said it would be a few days for an estimate and then 1-2 weeks for repair. The Little Watch Shop was able to do it in 10 minutes and clean my ring. They were so kind and welcoming and efficient with their customers. Price and service can't be beat. Between my grandfather and I, we had six watches needing repair. Did my research and wanted to support small business. Found this shop. Called to ensure he would be open if the current pandemic situation. Answers the phone with simply "hello". Is this the Watchmaker Specialist?", I ask. "Yes." I then asked if he would be open the next day to drop by with the watches for repair. "No problem. I will be here" he responds. "Excellent. See you tomorrow." Today (the next day), I picked up my 89-year old grandfather to drive 25 miles to his shop. Arrive to the office building, then had to had to show my driver's license to a security guard. It has to be shown to a video camera where they take a picture of your license. Was not crazy about that given identity fraud. But had to do it to gain access to the building. Made our way up to the 7th floor, found the suite, only to find the office locked. Sign on door says call the number. So I do this and again, simply "hello". I let him know we were standing at the front door. "Who's this?", he asks. "A customer" i replied. "Oh, I am not there. I went to get some dinner. Can you wait 30 or 45 minutes?"........ So he wanted my grandfather and I to simply hang out and wait for him. Not very good customer service especially after I called beforehand to verify it was good to come down at that time. Which it was. But he left us in the lurch. We went someplace else. Was not a goid customer service experience.

She was very apologetic and invited me to come back in the store whenever and to contact her personally. I appreciated that she reached out and acknowledged my experience. It doesn't negate the interaction I had with my sales associate and the jeweler but I do respect that she followed up and while I cannot say that I will be a returning customer at this point, I would take it into consideration. Full honestly, I think I would consider making a purchase there again but would likely not turn to them for any alterations or repairs in the future.

Wow, a simple battery change of my watch costs me $40? $40 to remove 4 screws, replace the battery and Bob's your uncle. It is a battery operated watch with a normal battery and a fancy design. Nothing complicated about it. I have brought the same exact watch at this place a year ago and it did not cost $40. My watch isn't even that expensive (it's a designer watch by Philippe Starck). The woman in the front desk and the owner did not recognized the brand so they decided to charge me $40. These guys do not have standard fee for battery replacement. They screw you over pricing if they do not recognized your watch brand. That is just so wrong in so many ways - unscrupulous. I don't mind paying $40 if the work is complicated, but it took them 5 minutes. Even the customers behind me asked what kind of watch I own to be charged $40 for battery replacement. read more

I highly recommend this store for any of your watch/clock needs. Went in to see if they could repair a watch with water damage. They quickly showed me exactly where the damage was and gave me an estimate for the repair. I was disappointed that there was more damage than I was hoping, and that the repair really wouldn't be worth it (it would have cost almost 2/3 of what I paid for the watch). Lucky for me, The Little Watch Shop has a great selection of watches that I was able to choose from. I ended up getting a new watch (that I like even more than my old one) for a very reasonable price. The employees were all kind, courteous, and helpful. They helped me look through their extensive selection of watches until I found the one for me. I only wish that I could rate The Little Watch Shop even higher than 5 stars because they deserve it. read more

I had the unfortunate situation of water entering my watch face. Letting the water sit was going to ruin the inner workings of the watch. The little watch shop did such a great job with providing care and handling to my watch. They were able to get it opened so fast while I was there in front of them. And they just seem to be well prepared to get the interface of my watch dried out. I was glad that I found such a capable competent watch company to repair my watch and avoid further damage. read more

Anyways I took the risk and did the wire transfer after the bank finally talked to the bank officer and said they felt a lot more comfortable about it, which made me more comfortable. My watch showed up in 1 day as promised with all the papers and the box. It was incredibly packaged and it felt like I was opening up one that was new. And I couldn't imagine it was far from the experience. To say it lightly the watch was real and the sales team was super patient and helpful. I can't wait for when I hit my next goal of 500k in the market so I can go online and google this shop and call Juan up to buy my next watch. Upon retrieving the watch they could not service, I was given the watch back with the caseback not affixed. Please do not bring your watches here. Go somewhere that treats customers with even just a modicum of decency. I brought in a friend's watch and was initially told it needed a routine servicing, which would take 6-8 weeks. I heard nothing for nearly 3 months and had to call back for an update, being told it would take "approximately 2 more weeks" and that they would call me back with an update. A month later with no contact, I had to call back AGAIN for an update. This time, I was told they were having issues sourcing a part and would call me back the next day for an update. Unsurprisingly, there was no call back and I had to call back YET AGAIN for an update just to be told the part could not be sourced and they could not properly service the watch. I'm beginning to think if I did not repeatedly call back to push them for updates, they would have never reached out and would have ultimately sold the watch, as the signs in their shop indicate that would be the case. Horrendous business practices.

I decided to take it on my lunch break and within 15 minutes it was completed. He actual charged me less because the gaskets were still holding up well. I would go back in a heartbeat to have more service done if needed OR buy a new watch. Side note - It's garage parking and the clearance of the garage is only 6' 5" so bigger trucks will need to street park.
