Being an Irish pub your Guinness should be near perfect. Unfortunately it's far from it. Your Guinness is not only the most expensive that I've had in Canada but it's also the worst. Lads you need to get someone to service your Guinness taps regularly and teach the bar staff how to pour decent pints (hold the glass at a 45 degree angle while pouring and only fill until your half way up the harp on the glass. Let it settle until is a nice dark ruby colour and then top it up) I might be fussy because I'm from Ireland but I would honestly visit the Dublin Crossing every week if you had decent Guinness. Had an overall terrible experience and would not recommend this restaurant. Management and staff were unprofessional and made us feel very unwelcome. We asked for 2 tables to celebrate our friend's birthday and they said we had to be seated on different floors which was understandable. We were ok with this arrangement as we are aware of the current covid protocols. It was how the management and staff continued to treat us that was the issue. As soon as I arrived with half of our group security was glaring at us and whispering. Prior to this, security even followed my friend to her car when she tried to call me to let me know where we would all be sitting. Once seated at our table, the manager came over with an attitude to lecture us. Staff also glared and watched us each time we went to the washroom. We are well aware of covid rules and had no intention of breaking them. The general manager did not even offer an apology when we asked to be contacted about the situation after the fact - very unprofessional management and staff. As a customer you expect to be welcomed and we did not get that experience here. read more

Arrived into a crowded establishment. Wait staff found me a place to have a drink while waiting for a table to free up. Had a pint of Harp and a shot of Bushmills. Once a table freed up I ordered the Dublin House Salad. Very fresh and colourful. I could not taste the dijon vinaigrette. I would still have this salad just have dressing on the side. Next had the Beef pot pie. Nice portion and not the usual tons of heavy crust. Smooth mash potatoes and steamed veggies. Nice bustling atmosphere where people are enjoying themselves. been here many times the atmosphere is great walk in to the left a nice family style restaurant and turn right to the typical Irish pub if it looks busy give it a try because there are many hooks and crannies the waitresses have all been great if u go with a group they don't scoff at separate bills the nachos were really good but $20 is top price because add meat is extra had the catfish sandwich and he said it was excellent but the piece of fish was quite small but they give you lots of fries I had the quesadilla and it was good but it's an appy so it doesn't come with anything hubby had the two piece fish and chips comes with coleslaw and a large tarter sauce it was large pieces of fish and looked very good but there was a hole in the middle of one piece so it filled with batter in middle but the batter was very good daughter had one piece fish and chip and it's one of her favorites I would recommend this pub for a family dinner all different types of seating high tables booths small tables with comfy seats and even an extra long table with benches read more

The caesars are to die for (awesome garnishes), the beer and whiskey selection is top notch and there isn't a bad thing on the menu! well I have been to this pub couple times. I must say all the servers are pretty rude. they do not greet you and make you feel unwelcomed. moreover they are dressed inappropriately. showing off their cleavage all the time. I am also a female and I know what women got. it would be better if management look in to this matter and ask them to stop showing off so much skin. I go to this pub 2 - 3 times a month cause it's in my neighborhood and quite like it. Everything I have eaten there has been very good (lol, I'm no cook and from England so I like anything!) The steak sandwich and the Cob salad are my absolute favorite. Except that every time I order the Cob Salad they often don't have some of the ingredience. (UMM, superstore is right next door people!!) I sometimes go in the middle of the week to have a drink with a friend and often have to ask them to tone the music down (and I love the music) but way tooo loud for a relaxing tuesday drink and chat with a friend. The waitresses are all really nice and try very hard to do a good job. I do beleive this pub is now under new management. I don't like the fact that they don't take interact as I hardly ever have cash on me. read more

Food has improved a lot over the past year. Good food. Large selection of drinks. Staff is maybe a little unhappy it seems, but I'm always there on busy nights so perhaps that makes a difference in their attitudes. Decor is great, very old fashioned yet up kept looking. Bouncers are good out front on Friday and Saturday nights. Two floors. Easy to put together a few large groups to have some fun. read more

Nice place, I enjoyed my hamburger, my fries were crispy perfection , our waitress forgot the gravy for the fries but other than that the meal was great, the decor is modest but nice, they have a good selection of beer, I'm a Kokanee fan so this was no challenge to fulfill, I give this establishment my righteous and highly sought after four star review. I'd give 2.5 stars. I'd give 0 if I could except the service was great; very quick § attentive. We ordered the prawn appetizer ... It tasted okay but the prawn was more of a garnish than the feature of this dish. We also ordered the stuffed Yorkshire pudding... We were so excited about this dish and we thought as a signature dish in an Irish pub it would have to be pretty fantastic. We were unfortunately very disappointed. The Yorkshire was dense and not at all hot, the beef was way overcooked and the mashed potatoes were pretty flavourless. The only excellent thing was the vegetables which were cooked perfectly. I felt the prices would have been fair if the dishes were satisfactory. The drinks were good... Vanilla martini & Dublin Caesar, decent wine selection. On a side note I found the waitresses uniforms embarrassing. A plaid miniskirt showing the butt cheeks of a grown woman trying to earn a wage does not make your establishment more "Irish" it just highlights your objectification of women. If not for its on going kitchen saga the Dublin could easily be one of BC's best pubs. Pubs are usually Re known for their pub food. The Dublin lays claim to having a Chef, not a Cook whom uses pre-packaged, pre-measured meats. I had a turkey sandwich with a few paltry slivers of turkey buried in a mound in of lettuce. The manager assured me it was pre measured, their standard portion. I had to dig to find these minute scraps he said were pre-measured. Watch out for their sandwiches, they skimp on protein. Take photos to show them, because they argue, rationalize, justify and deny they skimp. read more

I attended this restaurant with my boyfriend and mom when I was visiting home a few weeks ago, the food was good but the service was very mediocre from start to finish. Our serves name was christy she showed very little enthusiasm towards the food when we asked for suggestions, she checked up on us very few times as well, didn't offer to fetch any sauces for our friends or extra cutlery. We asked for our bill and said we were in a bit of a rush she still took over 15 minutes to get it to us and could see her chatting with fellow employees, once we finally got our bill my boyfriend offered to pay most of the bill and my mom said she would put the rest ($30) then the server let us know she couldn't use the percentage option for the tip because then she wouldn't receive the right amount because she would only be tipping on $30 not $130. We found this extremely rude. She implied that she deserved a tip above that and her serves was below average, as well as implied that my very capable mom was stupid. This left a very bad taste in our mouths after an already bad experience. Would not recommend this place to a friend. read more

Two weeks ago our family celebrated 3 birthdays and the Dublin Crossing and the feature of the month was our favorite ``Lamb Burger``. My wife & other guests had it & rated it a ``10``. Being so good my wife & I had already decided we would go back before the end of February. It was the same quality not to mention the staff for both nights are so attentive & very much on the ball with service. Twice they came to our table that our burgers would be a few minutes more and they delivered two incredible lamb burgers. I am a big fan of soups and borscht is not on top of my list but this was the best I ever tasted. I believe that next Wednesday is the last day of the month...see you there. read more

Their food is good. there decor is beautiful this restaurant is one of the nicest when it comes to decor..honestly. You need to see the place. Most nights they have really good entertainment going on. My one complaint is the service. It is rarely ever good. :( read more
