Unbelievable. We…read morewere on our way to the Grand Tetons and this place caught our attention because of the tanks parked out front. We read the sign and decided to stop. We expected to see a bunch of tanks. But OMG - this place has incredible displays. It's not just a bunch of tanks and armor, it's full sets with animated backgrounds and sounds. Bombers flying overhead with bombs blasting. Not over the top PTSD triggering scenes, but enough to seed your imagination so you can better understand what the men and these machines went through. In most if not all respects this museum is better than the Smithsonian. Yes, it's a lot of armor, but there are all kinds of it, many from different countries, and even a few aircraft. Also, don't miss the vault full of every type of rifle you can imagine - including the one that shot the first bullet of the Revolutionary war. We stopped here on a whim. Our next stop will be planned. Don't miss this place.

With the technological innovations that come with war, comes a huge human cost. This museum did a decent job of balancing those aspects. I am deducting one star off of my review for a very specific reason. Before entering the Holocaust section, there is a trigger warning, letting viewers know there are images that some may find disturbing. There is no such warning before entering the Vietnam section. This area of the museum is very realistic with dim lighting, bamboo shoots, and literal "Charlie in the trees", waiting to be illuminated and startle you. Many Vietnam veterans, like my father, are suffering from PTSD. Knowing how many of them will probably visit this museum, there needs to be some sort of warning before entering this area!

*This is only for the Horseback Riding*…read more Spent a great time horseback riding on this farm with a great view of the Grand Teton. This place was pretty busy, so we had to wait a bit for our group to go in. We got a group with one other group and an individual, and they were both so nice. When you get there, you just need to sign a waiver and wait on the stand where they have dogs and also a cat. They let you know the name of your horse, and there is a satchel to keep your stuff if needed. The staff were all really nice and patient, answering any questions you may have before you go off with your leader. My friend even had the fastest horse they have at that ranch! Be warned that the horses will poop and pee whenever and wherever. It truly was a sight to see. The ride was 90 minutes but a little more, as some of the horses kept going off path (Candy ), but it was nice and calming. A great experience with great views, even with the rain, that I definitely recommend.

The day after her accident, we contacted Equitours and asked if there was SOME dispensation that could be made given this turn of events. While we understood we could not recoup much of our costs (to be clear and fair - we were under the 30 day window, and understand trip guides need to be paid and horses managed for rider spots) we thought perhaps Equitours would work with us and extend some recompense for SOME part of our trip - a credit, a transfer, someone to take our place - we suggested a seriously discounted rate of 40 or 50% off on their website or social media- any rate to get a little back! Equitours simply posted the trip at a 10% discount once on their Facebook page and then our agent immediately went on vacation, kicked off her OOO, and dropped us since our trip was paid for and that was that. No communication, nor was a a single dime of our trip was refunded, transferred, or credited. Equitours pretty much said "oh well." We will NEVER do an Equitours ride again nor would we recommend this company for their terrible customer service.

Biggi with Equitours answered all of my questions. The recommendations for clothing, essentials and travel requirements were all correct, making preparations easy. The guides, Stefnir and Anita were absolutely amazing, and made everyone feel like a member of their family. The trip was well organized with attention to safety and and care of horse and rider. Their knowledge of local history and lore was shared with obvious love of their heritage. The Icelandic horses are indeed amazing in both their strength and their beauty. Thank you, Equitours, Inc. I will definitely be riding with you again.

Dale's knowledge of the park - its history, its wildlife and its geology - was worth every penny. The van was comfortable and allowed for easy viewing of the park. He's been a geologist and professional wildlife photographer for 30-40 years. His wealth of knowledge about everything in Yellowstone is what takes this tour to the next level that other National Park tours don't even come close to touching. This tour is worth EVERY penny. Along our tour, we saw a bald eagle, many buffalo, mountain goats that were right next to the road, elk and deer. Dale was shocked that we didn't see any bears that particular day because they are so common. We saw waterfalls, canyons, geysers and way more. The only downside is that we wish we had more time to tour the rest of the park.
