The experience at this restaurant dubs was extremely poor. They overcharged my husband and I for drinks that were on happy hour for $4. The manager was young and inexperienced and very rude. It did not understand customer service. Their food is terrible and we will not be going back as they do not deserve to have good customers in that establishment. They are terrible people with poor attitudes and do not know customer service. Let talk about Dubz BBQ. When I looked this place up it had great reviews, and I was excited. I ordered a sandwich since it was lunch time and didn't want to be overly full. So I ordered and went to sit down. This was the only problem I had when I was here is I had to wipe down my own table, which kinda grossed me out. At this point I was extremely skeptical about how my meal would play out, and hoped for the best. After a very short wait, the young waitress brought out my food. Before eating my sandwich I tasted all four sauces they had on the table, and found the hot to be to my liking. I was dining by myself, and it was nice and quiet in the restaurant, so I knew I could really just enjoy the food. Let me tell you, I never expected a sandwich of this caliber, and it caught me off guard. The bun was very soft, toasted with what I assumed was clarified butter, and loaded with just the right ammount of meat. The pork itself was smoked fabulously and seasoned perfectly. I used just enough sauce to compliment the meat. Every bite of my sandwich was better than the last, which is something that I had never experienced with a pulled pork sandwich. This sandwich was elevated, perfect, and a culinary milestone in my foodie journey. The coleslaw was just right and not overly sweet. It's a good restaurant with good barbecue. Not great, but it is good. They cook their meats nicely, they have a nice smoky flavor. Their sides are not well seasoned and their beans are a bit watery. They don't make their own barbecue sauce instead they buy Cattlman's out of the bottle. We can all do that at home. It would be nice to see them season better and perhaps they could add an original Dubz barbecue sauce. All the really great barbecue places have their own sauce because that's the flavor. read more

This was my first time here, the food was delicious. I got the brisket platter and my husband got the pulled pork platter. My brisket was a tad bit pricey $19. The sides were delicious. I really enjoyed the Mexican street corn, hush puppies and corn bread. The few complaints I have are, my server wasn't very attentive, she took a long time in between to check on us and it wasn't busy. And lastly, I ordered the exact same platter my husband got (pulled pork) to go for my daughter and when I got home and opened it, it was half the size of what my husband had. I was very disappointed that they decreased the portion simply because I got take-out, same price same exact platter. Not sure why it was smaller? This was some pretty good BBQ. The restaurant is like a counter style restaurant with few seats so you can eat inside. It is located in the strip mall. The service was really good. I felt like the young lady behind the counter gave me everything. I needed for my to go order. I ordered the brisket and some ribs and both of them came out delicious. The brisket was really moist and that was probably my favorite part of the whole meal. The mac & cheese was really good and the cornbread had jalapeños in it and it was very tasty. The ribs were OK. They were a tiny bit dry to me, but they still had good flavor. The hostess kendal was wonderful very mindful and didn't nag like usual hostesses quick about ordering and made sure to check up on us only when really needed. Staff are friendly so that's a plus, after arriving home and looking at the food it wasn't much to look at, we got smoked chicken, and 1 pint each of macaroni and cheese, and coleslaw. We got lots of extra sauce too, the regular was ironically sweeter than their 'sweet' sauce and their sweet sauce was spicier than their regular. Even though it smelled pleasant- the taste and texture of the smoked chicken was mediocre, there's almost no flavor to the chicken, it wasn't smokey enough. Onto the macaroni and cheese; that smelled good, was cheesy and creamy, my favorite of what we got. One of my kids orders ribs. End up not eating them all every time due to them leaving silver skin on them. My daughter says that her pulled pork is gross. I'm basing this review on two visits, a week apart, both indoor dining experiences. The food: I tried the ribs, pulled pork, collard greens, fries, and sweet tea. Very enjoyable. Attractively presented. The service: They take your order at the counter and then bring it out to you. On our second visit, the food was prepared and sat in the counter awhile, until the counter worker finished up her texting. The area around the self-serve drinks was pretty messy, and the large garbage can sitting out in the restaurant was filled to overflowing. Parking is easy. The place is kind of hidden, a block off of US41, easy to miss. Use your GPS to get there. We also bought two pounds of pulled pork to go and made several meals at home off of that.
