    Wagyu Beef Slider
    Luke B.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. I like the food so much, I'm worried I might get sick of it, so I try to only go once a month at most. Situated in a food truck outside Digress Wine, they serve what I would describe as French-inspired Spanish tapas. You can sit inside the wine bar and order via their website directly to your table or you can order from the food truck itself and they'll bring it to you. A definite must is the Marinated Olives ($6), pitted green olives in an inventive citrus-y and spicy brine with capers, carrots and pearl onions along for the ride. It's so good I sometimes order 2 for the table. Another must is the Wagyu Beef Sliders ($17), two plump and juicy sliders, cooked perfectly, topped with a mushroom sauce and raclette cheese, served with French fries. It's so buttery and decadent- probably the best burger I've ever eaten. The fries are expertly cooked, extremely crispy and wonderfully seasoned. Their menu changes frequently and I always try something new here (steak frites, empanadillas, summer rillette, hummus). I'll be back many times this year (it's August, so 4 in fact) !

The aesthetics and atmosphere of this restaurant / wine bar is very Mediterranean / south of France which I adorrrrred especially since I'll be there this summer. There's an outside seating area with a water fountain and umbrellas for all the vibes and shade to enjoy a brunch or day with the girls or even a date. Inside is elegant just as well with lovely art pieces, decor and lighting. They just started doing brunch on Sundays when I went so it was nice to experience it and see their curated menu. When I made the reservation I requested a scenic ambiance spot which they had the perfect table for me and my server Erin surprised me with a complimentary glass of bubbles, I assume the prosecco which was such a treat being to start off my birthday lunch! I had some main goals of YES and I NEED, which was a nice bottle of wine, those gorgeous blue and white printed plates, the blue crab cannoli, and the ousters. All of which I received in the best presentation possible. The team at Lorelei even made my lunch ever so special by serving everything on those plates along with enhancing my blue crab cannoli with caviar on the top instead of the regular fish eggs that are placed which I was just full of joy and happiness seeing how special they surprised and customized my dishes for me! The bottle of Sauvignon blanc also a perfectly complimented my oysters as well as the cannolis. Overall, Lorelei did not disappoint me and met all of my expectations and desires with the perfect birthday lunch with my favorite besties! I can't wait to come back again for some small bites and tapas or even experience the wine tasting events they hold!

It was a hot night but they do keep some fans outside. They have a nice wine selection - we both enjoyed different whites and both were delish! The inside looks gorg as well - definitely small, but very well decorated. Service was attentive during the event. Giving 4 stars because the food menu seems a bit limited - the snacks weren't calling to me for the price point, but I'd definitely return just for drinks. So fun!

You can tell the owners put love into every detail including picking their wines locally and internationally. You can stop by any day of the week, load money on a card and taste 16 different wines from a self serving tap. My personal favorites were Rioja, Sangue Di Giuda and the Chardonnay. The Rioja is similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, but it also has a fruity character. If you love Cabernet but are also looking for the dominant cherry flavor, this is the perfect wine for you. The Sangue Di Giuda, which means "Blood of Judas", is more of a deep, slightly sparkling and delectably sweet red wine. Chardonnay is my go to when I want a nice glass of wine after work. Although it typically has fruit flavors, it's a dry white wine. It pairs perfectly with seafood or baked chicken. We purchased a bottle of Lumbrusco and we sat and enjoyed the atmosphere and great conversation with the owner. They were right, they made us feel at home. Phillip is a wealth of knowledge and I've learned so much more about wine when I leave the store each time. A lot of great selections, majority from Italy at great prices. It was sweet and fruit, and strong with the bourbon. A nice buzzy drink. My appetizer was the first dip, which was smoked lightly and had some pickled vegetables, bread, and crackers. It was enjoyable. The main plate was the ahi tuna stack, which has sushi grade tuna (raw), with rice, seaweed salad, and spicy mayo sauce. There was rice chip, but I didn't eat that. Instead, I enjoyed the fresh ahi, rice, seaweed salad, and the flavorful sauce that had the right kick. It was filling! For dessert, I was happy I have their banana fosters another chance as the sauce was wonderful with the rum. The ice cream was premium, and I even liked the cinnamon bread they added. Best of all, the portions were the same as the regular menu! Service was excellent as always, and the atmosphere was social and positive. Loved the upscale music in the background. Decided not to sit outdoor this time as it was hot, so I enjoyed the AC instead. I was surprised parking was easy at the garage as well. Bites and Bubbles still serves great food, and the bite 30 promotion was well worth it. Even better, I had 18 dollars in my Inkind and was able to use that too. So only paid 50 dollars after tips for the meal and drink. Such a great deal! Definitely plan on doing this again if they do magical dining. Overall: A

There are a few different spots you can sit depending on what you want your experience to be. We were sat in the patio downstairs under a giant umbrella. You can also choose to sit inside or even upstairs at the roof top bar. Our server was Timothy, he was very lovely and attentive. We started with a bottle of bubbly and were given the option to have different juices to go with our bottle. Each juice was served in an individual decanter. We started with the butter lantern from Parlor Kitchen. It was served with a bagel, a muffin and some toast. It was a beautiful display and delicious. (Shout out to Parlor Kitchen). We also started with the fried goat cheese. It was served on toast with blueberries, tomatoes and jam. Very delicious. I selected the blueberry pancakes from the brunch menu. It was a large stack of three pancakes with blueberries baked in and on top. Complimented with some butter lantern and syrup, they were fluffy and delicious. The menu had some really nice selections so I will definitely return another day. I want to try the duck fat burger at some point, which is their wow feature. Great place to visit. If you do reserve on Open Table, be prepared to enter your credit card to hold the reservation.

The ambiance and the warmth of the staff took me back to the Caribbean--it definitely felt like home. Their menu features a Latin-Asian fusion, and I loved every second of it. We started with the Krab Salad. It was incredibly fresh, topped with avocado, and the perfect way to open my appetite for a sushi night. Next were the Pork Fried Gyoza, served with a sticky, glossy sauce that has just the right amount of kick. They were so good, you won't be able to put your chopsticks down. The Escobar Roll combines shrimp tempura and churrasco--the best of both worlds. It's topped with sweet plantains, chimichurri sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. I had my doubts about all those flavors working together, but I have no idea how they perfected that combination--they absolutely did. The Mar y Tierra Roll was recommended by our waiter, and I highly recommend ordering it in tempura. It gives the roll a completely different texture, and it's absolutely amazing. The Pollo Loco Roll is topped with sweet plantains and teriyaki sauce. It's simple, yet packed with flavor. We finished it all off with a crème brûlée. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be enjoying one at a sushi restaurant, but it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. If you're looking for creative sushi, unique Latin-inspired flavors, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, The Escobar Kitchen is definitely worth the visit.
