The first time I ever tried the Duck Donut was in OC location. I tried the vegan version. It was made hot and fresh. It tastes the best right away. This location in Rancho was my first time and it is located in Victoria Garden mall. It is located across from Macy's. Ordered: Vegan cronuts - Absolutely did not them at all. It was very cakey, but I like their regular donuts and ice cream. I got ice cream treat for myself. Friendly staff. Great service. Ambiance is nice and clean. Love all the duckies displayed at the store. I wondered what the free samples....

one of my fav donut spots as of late! It's a small space with outdoor and some indoor seating. Whenever I go my order is whipped up straight away and the service is always killer. Any questions I have are answered on the spot and the staff is always nice. Marley and Noah usually help me out, if you hit up this spot leave a tip!

Not sure where they originated, but it seems like Duck Donuts locations have been popping up quite frequently. As a fan of donuts, I've been very curious and finally was able to grab donuts at this location in Rancho at Victoria Gardens. The space is not large - with really just an area to walk up to the counter and order with areas of merch you can purchase. They make their donuts fresh to order (or at least that's how it was during my visit). I came in near closing time, so there was no line and I was greeted and helped right away. The two ladies in there - I wanna say Joy and Brie (sp?) were very friendly. I ordered half a dozen donuts and just got a variety of flavors. The donuts were aesthetically pleasing and most importantly - tasty. Definitely a great treat to be shared among friends or at least a few for yourself.

6/14/25 Freshly made to order, hot donuts, Donuts! Couldn't decide so I went with what's popular, blueberry pancake & and cold brew with a side of sweet cream. Service was excellent & staff are friendly. It's in the middle of Victoria Gardens so it is absolutely crazy looking for parking on a busy Father's Day weekend. Duck Donuts has a few seats indoors & a couple more outdoor seating to enjoy your treats. My donut was ready in a few minutes & it was hot! Delicious! I dipped a little piece in the sweet cream... nice!!! Heavenly Pricey but worth the try

We've been coming here for years and needed a little pick-me-up trying to get back into the swing of things after Spring Break. Made-to-order, warm, fresh donuts sounded perfect! This time around, I noticed they were offering a BOGO on DoorDash. So we hopped on that. It was actually for a half dozen donuts, so you get a full dozen for the half dozen price with the option of their party half-dozen or classic half dozen. We opted for the party. The donuts are so good. Warm, gooey, delicious, just what you want from a donut. And they reheat pretty well in the microwave too. It's a cute little shop located in Victoria Gardens. They also offer very unique flavored donuts, which are also delicious and some killer milkshakes.

I went to Duck Donuts for the first time recently to pick up a Too a Good To Go order. For those that don't know Too Good To Go is an app for fighting food waste and I love that Duck Donuts participates! Our pick up consisted of a half dozen donuts. The cool thing about Duck Dounts is that they dip and glaze their dounts right in front of you. It was very fun to watch! The glaze flavors were very tasty and unique to eachother. The strawberry had notes of strawberries, the chocolate was very chocolatey. Of the donuts, my favorite was the chocolate with Reese's peanut butter MnMs, but I would have preferred a stronger peanut flavor. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with a very nice atmosphere , but we took ours to go. The man who served us was also very nice and explained things well. The only thing I didn't like was the donut base. It was a cake base and I found it was dry and a bit bland. Date of visit: March 25, 2025

Eat your warm donuts fresh, and it's soft, moist, delicious, and like sweet heaven in your mouth! Located near Macy's at the Victoria Gardens outdoor mall, there was ample parking and the wait time was surprisingly short on a Sunday evening. Cleider, our server staff, was outstanding overall--super friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and efficient! We ordered: a Sunrise donut, Werewolf donut, and a Blueberry Pancake donut all to go. All made fresh, mmm-mmm-mmm, and delish! We were even given free donut samples with our order, too. One of thee best donut shops in the I.E.!

Little bundles of joy with Joy! Welcoming and friendly service. Seasonal flavors, classics or vegan (minimum order of 6 for vegan). Many to choose from, went for the dozen. Though a few were missing toppings as displayed on the menu so they ended up just being chocolate. Maybe a different approach to fulfilling orders. It is a lot to remember maybe some type of checklist for each recipe. Always room for growth. They were served warm and boxed. Enjoyed the classic Motown oldies playing in the background. Toy ducks for purchase displayed on shelves, mugs, hats hoodies. They also have ice cream available. Located in Victoria gardens. Cute garden area in front with bench seating or patio tables. Metered parking lot right behind the shop or limited spots along sidewalk. Make sure to see Joy! She'll take good care of ya.

With my donut craving this morning I headed over to this little spot inside of Victoria Gardens. Was met with the sweetest lady named Joy. She was honestly so kind and helped me make my choices. The fresh donuts and options are always a hit in my house. Pay them a visit, I am sure they have what you like. They custom make the donuts for you. The wait is worth it and in the early morning there is no line!

We used the to good to go app to order a dozen donuts, 6 for us and 6 for my nephew (and his mom and grandma of course). First of we went there early as they opened. We hadn't even walked through the door and we heard the manager Joy welcomed us so we greeted her good morning back. She was so pleasant as she made our order. The donuts were nice and fresh even when we got back home they were still warm. The maple bacon donut has been my favorite so far but everything was so good. The donuts itself isn't the traditional dough, it was more cake BUT not too much. They maple was sweet as expected but the real bacon toppings balanced that out. The chocolate donuts were also very good. All in all we'll definitely come back to try the other flavors.

I read my Yelpie friend's great review on Duck Donuts (Thank you twin brother... you know who you are LOL). I was curious so I gave them a try. The day before pick-up, I ordered 3 dozens online... 1 Breakfast Box, 1 Signature Box, and 1 Duck Dozen. Each dozen costs $34... hence, total was $102... yes, believe it! They are all worth every penny. They are warm, delicious, and made-to-order as advertised. Btw, each donut is $3.95... if you do the math, it's a way better deal to get the half ($17) or full dozen... it's quite a savings of over $1 per donut! My pick-up time was 7:45 AM, but I hit traffic so I didn't get here until sometime after 8:00 AM. Upon arrival, I was the only customer at the time. So glad I was... I got to take lots of pictures. I was surprised to see so many cute duck toys. I was quite intrigued indeed... such a fun theme! Oh, you may purchase a duck toy for $2.50 each. Don't know if they sell them by the dozen at a discounted price. Just ask them! Joy, the store manager, was super nice and friendly. She labeled the boxes for me. She even gifted me a complimentary cinnamon donut (freshly made right on the spot) plus a couple duckies for my birthday. Yes, it was my b-day on pick-up day. The donut was so good I ate all of it on the spot LOL. Thank you so much Joy for your kindness, generosity, and exceptional service! You brought me joy and made my b-day very sweet. I am grateful. I personally witnessed the making of a Duck donut. First, the donut is fried. Then, it is decorated to each donut's specifications. Lastly, it is boxed ready to be eaten. A fresh donut in your hands in less than a couple minutes. Wow, easy and simple! Way to innovate and take the donut to the next level!! Bravo Duck Donuts!!! Each designated box comes with specific donuts. There were some overlap on the donuts and that's okay. It worked out nicely because I was bringing them to share with my colleagues at work. Multiples of the same donut came in handy. Btw, you may customize your box of donuts however you like. Have fun choosing your donuts!!! My favorite boxes were the Breakfast Box and Signature Box as they have a variety of different toppings. Duck Dozen was okay as it has mainly drizzled donuts. They also have seasonal donuts. Besides donuts, they also sell sandwiches, coffee, lemonade, ice cream, and much more. Here are my top 3 favorites so far... #1 Blueberry Pancake, #2 Chocolate Explosion, #3 Bacon in the Sun. I look forward to returning to try their other fan favorites that I haven't tried yet. If you haven't had a Duck donut, there's no other best time than now. So come on by and get yourself a dozen or two or three! LOL

So let me start off by saying, I'm not a big donut person. As much I've tried Krispy Kreme and dunkin donuts, they all taste the same to me nothing special and bland... Now, duck donuts, I absolutely fell in love with their donuts. I truly think what makes this place extra special is the fact that the donuts are made right there on the spot. I got their strawberry shortcake, which according to the cashier is one of the top sellers. She was right about since it was delicious. I have been told by some friends who have gone to try their drinks, so that will have to be for next time. Highly recommend trying this place. read more

I've walked by this place so many times, always with the intention of stopping to try it, and never have--until yesterday. My son wanted to share a donut so we stopped by and got a freshly made, super hot birthday cake sprinkles donut and it was delicious beyond words. Donuts were delicious and service was great. Mason helped us decide on flavors and they did not disappoint. They were all good but French Toast was by far my favorite and my husband liked the peanut butter one. They had limited indoor seating but plenty of nice spots outside to sit and enjoy your donuts. Went to visit some friends in Rancho, and they told me that I HAD to try out these donuts! They told us that it would take a while to have them made as they are made to order. Since my husband and I are from out of town, we planned to go there the morning before we drove back home. The morning we got there, we were immediately greeted with the warmest 'Welcome.' She was working on another order, which gave is time to see which dozen of donuts we wanted to take home with us. By the time it was our turn to order, we ended up being overwhelmed with how fun and delicious all the donuts looked, that we just asked for a random dozen. She didn't disappoint. As she was making our order, she was just so pleasant in telling us how much we were 'in for a treat!' I couldn't help but geek out, observing the donut batter dropping into the fryer, going through the conveyor belt, and making its way into the box. Perfectly golden, and fluffy! The icing station was even more fun to watch! As the lady was decorating the donuts, she asked where my husband and I were from, and introduced herself- Joy. An appropriate name for someone as joyful as she was. 5 stars for the delicious donuts 5 stars for the cutest little donut shop ever! 5 stars for excellent service 5 stars for Joy. Usually we avoid the mall but daughter and I wanted to try this place with all the good reviews. We walked in and there was no glass case with donuts to pick from. Joy the employee at the time was super kind and helpful and showed us the donuts that MAKE TO ORDER! We chose the beach ball and the blueberry pancake. While we were waiting, Joy gave my daughter a sample of ice cream because she just thought she was cute. When the donuts were ready she warned us to not bite right in because they're hot. We waited til we got to my office and OH MY GOSH! I thought Krispy Kreme was good fresh. These are 10x better. The blueberry pancake might be the best donut I've ever had. Because donuts are such a forbidden food in our house, I like to window shop and just gaze at their naughty goodness. That was my intention when I saw Duck Donuts from across the way, I just wanted go stare and lust after the treats in their window, but much to my surprise, I saw nothing in the window. And inside, no display case either, but that heavenly fragrance was in the air. After a few more observations and chatting with the staff, we learned that this is a custom made to order donut shop. I don't think I've ever had a custom made donut before, and since it was my husband's birthday, we felt it was appropriate to shave a few years off our lives and indulge. The menu had a great variety of choices and you could even come up with your own if you like. However, I like to stick to tried and true flavors so I ordered one peanut butter and jelly and one french toast. My husband ordered a chocolate and something else with purple in it, I forget. We took a seat and waited a few minutes and then we were presented with a cute box of fresh donut deliciousness. And the staff was so kind and gave me a double order because they said their first attempts at making my donuts resulted in donuts that were too small. They actually looked fine to me, and I wouldn't have complained, but I really appreciate their attention to detail and thoughtfulness. The donuts were nice and soft and warm and gooey. My flavors were spot on, and my favorite was the peanut butter and jelly. We took home the extras they made us and left them on the counter overnight. And my conclusion is that I prefer my donuts to sit out for awhile because then they get this nice texture, the icing sets, and the donut doesn't fall apart. Whatever your poison is, fresh made or day old, come try these out! read more

Bad customer service! Lady in the front with a grumpy face didn't want to serve us. She was very abrupt and didn't care to explain what items they have. All she knew how to do was point to the menu and make disgruntled faces and major attitude. Never coming back! Would give a 0 star if I could! read more

today was first time in here & it was a great experience the music was great & the people were so sweet! Tristen & this lady greeted me. very high energy. I told them i wanted an assorted half a dozen of donuts. I got two bacon donuts, a s'mores a strawberry cheese cake & a coconut one. my favorite were the bacon strawberry cheese cake & the coconut one wasn't bad. i'm not really a fan of chocolate but it wasn't bad. def would return here read more

First.. donuts are made to order. Lets start there! I haven't tried one that I wasn't absolutely satisfied with! They are warm, soft, not super sweet! The "Bacon in the sun" is my absolute FAVORITE! If Joy is workin, ask her to make it!! She makes it the best! I don't care for donuts generally but Duck is the exception! If you haven't tried them... Go! RUN!! So many flavors! Not too pricey! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I ordered a too good to go order. I understand I had to pick up before 11:30 but I walked in waited forever just to even be acknowledge and the employee was sooooooo rude. Letting other people collect orders before me even though I was waiting patiently. First time here and I wouldn't return. The lady working here was rude and dehumanizing. Sooo yummy! might have a slight addiction. They make them fresh to order and have a nice selection of flavors. My favorite is the blueberry streusel. French is awesome and Glaze didn't disappoint. The donut overall has a good taste and they have a slight crunch when you eat them before getting home. I drive from lake Elsinore for these! Don't underestimate these. read more

This was my first time at duck donuts. I stopped in to see what all the fuss was about. Now I know. The donuts were super fresh. They were made while I was there. They were quite tasty and the lady who served me was extremely nice. I will definitely be back and get some tasty treats for the office in the future! read more

I drove from Upland to here to get Duck Donuts for my son when I could basically stop by any donut stores along the way. I paid for parking then walked in on Saturday 10 am for the lady to tell me she's closing for lunch and to come back later. Eh...You're serious right? Where does the business hour listed this and why is the door wide opened for business then? I am pissed. Now my toddler is crying because he was hyped up for fancy donuts. I ended up being turned away and going to go to a moms and pops donut store which I could have done instead of wasting my time here. For the sheer principle, this is extremly poor customer service and I will never support this place again. read more

I don't know if the owners just started this because I've been coming here for awhile and ranting and raving about this place and today was the first time I was charged so much for the $6 coffee.

This review is a little delayed but finally have a chance to get it done. One of my besties sent me a text the morning of Duck Donuts' third day of being opening, reminding me that they were now open. Since the husband and I had just sat down to breakfast we decided to share something so we could go check out the donuts after we ate. There was a bit of a line, maybe 20 people or so ahead of us. To our surprise we were asked if we wanted coffee, iced coffee or tea. We had no idea they were handing out a free beverage and were pleasantly surprised with the quality, ceramic coffee cup that we were given...and that they said we got free coffee for a year. What?! How lucky was that?! (Numbers 37 & 38 out of 40, we just made it!) We sipped on our coffee, chatted with other customers in line and checked out the Signature Assortment. We picked out a couple as we waited for our turn, which came relatively quickly. Especially considering how it works! (We had NO idea how it worked.) First, if you have read some of the other reviews you saw that there is just one donut base. It's true, all of the donuts start with the same donut. I would describe it as in between a regular cake-type donut and a an original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut. Upon entering, we realized the donuts are freshly made when you place your order! It's not a matter of hitting it at the right time to get fresh, warm donuts. They are always fresh and warm! Additionally, we thought that the Signature Assortment was all they had to choose from. However, that wasn't the case at all! While they had a few different menus to look over and choose from, they explained that those were merely suggestions but you can have whatever toppings you wanted! We ended up just sticking to their flavors for three of them and just getting the last one with just the glaze. Once we placed our order, our donuts were fried and then the toppings were added. It's set up where you can watch from start to finish. Once completed they bring them over for you to confirm how they look and you're off to enjoy your donuts. If you like sugary treats, these deliver. They are super sweet. I actually wish we had purchased a plain one to see what just that tasted like...next time! They also have ice cream and some really fun merch to buy. There is only a small viewing/waiting area inside, but there are tables outside to sit and enjoy the yumminess. You can also order ahead and have them ready to pick up. Will definitely be back...and not just because we have free coffee for the year!! read more

OMG!!! This is a late post but better late than never. I had been waiting for this place to open for a while so I Elias extremely disappointed when my husband and I went after dinner only to find that they had just closed. I was so bummed. But this guy came and u locked the door and told us to come in. He said he was the owner and had just boxed up the remaining donuts and we were welcome to try some. I was totally shocked. There were so many different flavors. I was more than happy just to take one but he gave us 4. The owner was so nice and welcoming. The donuts did not disappoint. They melted right in my mouth. I loved it so much that I took my friends the next weekend. I saw the owner and he recognized me. He was happy to see I was back and enjoyed the donuts. This has become my regular spot whenever I'm in the area. I love that their choices change, but they keep the staple flavors. I hope they stay for a while. read more

Duck Donuts never disappoints! I ordered the maple bacon donuts and a small blueberry lemonade, and both were fantastic. The lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet and tart--super refreshing for a warm day. Not sure if it's made fresh, but it's definitely one of my favorites now. I actually felt the need to make a yelp to report what I witnessed at duck donuts today. I witnessed a woman tell the cashier that the young girl she was with has a peanut allergy and the worker could not have responded more rudely and inconsiderately. I immediately left and decided to take my business elsewhere. As a mother of a child with a DEADLY peanut allergy I take peanut cross contamination very seriously (as should any food establishment). I'm sorry for the lady this happened to today and I hope she sees this post and knows that her experience was seen and noted. read more

Joy is Garbage and so is her attitude. I recently visited Duck Donut and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience with one of their employees, Joy. The customer service provided by Joy was abysmal, to say the least. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that she had no interest in helping customers or providing even basic courtesy. The first thing that draws you is the amazing smell of the fresh donuts. Then when you see the assortment of toppings your mind is literally blown. Amazing service the minute you walked in the front door we were greeted by Joy who made our experience at Duck Donuts memorable! It was my first time here and the vibes here puts you in a better mood for some delicious donuts! The inside is very clean, colorful and uplifting! The service was great and the food was even better!
