Key Lime Pie Pop and Peanut Butter Fluff Donuts
    David H.

Unique way of making donuts here where they cook all donuts fresh for you, so nothing has been sitting in the case for hours. As far as I can tell, all donuts start with the basic vanilla donut then they add various toppings to create the various flavored donuts. I tried the key lime pie pop donut and enjoyed it. Service is fast with everything being freshly made so your food will be hot and fresh. There's no place to sit inside and the store is small, so you can eat at one of the tables outside if the weather is good. If not, you'll have to take it home to eat. I enjoyed this place and might go back if I'm in the area, but it's not worth a special trip.

We went to Duck Donuts in Springfield the other day since we had buy one, get one free coupons. The inside of the shop was very clean and not busy at all when we arrived. We ordered the blueberry lemonade, chocolate explosion, chocolate caramel crunch, and the beach ball donuts. Every donut other than the beach ball, were just okay and lacked flavor. We are glad we tried it but most likely wouldn't go back.

I feel like they have decent donuts. I have visited this place twice and it's nice. I enjoy being able to watch the donuts being made in front of you. I always get great customer service here. The establishment is always clean too. Great for parties or staff treats. Got them for my son's birthday party at school and they were a hit.

These donuts were delicious I would most definitely order again. We ordered donuts for a company event and when I finished my first donut, I immediately reached for a second, and had to resist a third. The donuts are chewy but light, and the topping are very tasty and unique. They practically melt in your mouth would highly recommend.

A business associate of mine loves this place. He could be correct, that first you need to try the original location in North Carolina. The maple and chocolate bacon donut was interesting, and I admire the handiwork of the employees. They are creative. They have quite a few wacky flavors, which is innovative, if you're looking for something different than Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. All of the folks working here are fun, polite, and efficient. Yet the coffee needs to be strengthened. When I have donuts I want 10W30 Marine Corps java. That's not happening here, as it's ordinary with just a regular taste. I'll give it a like, but I'm more a fan of the competition. Bias alert being from Boston where Dunkie is king. Go in and give it a try, as people more fun loving/creative with food will appreciate this more.

I love utilizing their app to order ahead and pickup. Used it several times to order ahead and when I go to pick it up, it was warm and ready. No real area to sit inside to eat but there's plenty of seating outside. Donuts are delicious when it's fresh. Pickup staff hasn't been very friendly and hard to engage when you walk in because it almost seems like they avoid eye contact but once you're able to get their attention, they give your donut without any trouble. I wouldn't say friendly staff but present. They need to come up with better system for pickups.

I ordered the chocolate donut with ice cream filling from duck donuts . the employee walked to the back to make my order it took a while for her to come back out. when I take the donut out of the container and it was cold. I turned it over and realize there was mold on the bottom. luckily I turned it over before taking a bite.

Duck donuts are good. Just know the Donuts are made to order, so they start off with a hot vanilla donut, and then they add the topping or flavor you selected. Bit uoibget the full flavor once they are cool and set. We were too excited to try them, so we ate some in the car, but they were better once we got them home and fully cooled. Maple bacon or Bacon in the sun are yummy delish.

    Now open. Hours from website.

New location has a lot of bugs to work out. Donuts and breakfast sandwiches are okay, but not worth the wait or price in my opinion. Go early, because I'm sure wait times are ridiculous later in the morning. At 6am I placed on online order for 6:45am: a spooky box and a breakfast sandwich. My order wasn't ready until 6:55am. There was only one other customer in the store. The one employee present seemed disgruntled because some of her coworkers didn't show up to work. When I got to work I realized the donuts in my box looked more like a duck dozen than the spooky box I had ordered. The whole concept of made to order donuts seems overrated. They are all the same cake donuts just with different toppings. Waiting for employees to decorate each donut while you wait seems highly inefficient and I don't feel they taste any fresher than if they had been made in batches that morning like they do at Dunkin Donuts for example. Plus the cost is pretty high. Over $22 for a dozen donuts... that feels excessive, especially for what you get here. The breakfast sandwich tasted fine, but no better than if you had microwaved a frozen breakfast sandwich yourself. They have a workstation with precooked pieces, and based on your order they assemble your sandwich and heat it in a commercial microwave. It wasn't anything special, and not cheap. I had to try them. There was a lot of hype about this location opening. But I find myself wishing it was an old fashioned donut shop instead. I wouldn't go out if your way for donuts here. And don't come if you are crunched for time.

Stopped in here on a whim on my way to pick up Starbucks coffee. It's a little overwhelming trying to choose a flavor because there are so many! However I chose a lemon raspberry and a strawberry sprinkle. The photos in store look great! However they make the donuts to order which ordinarily would be great but in this case putting decorations on hot donuts meant most of the glaze is on the box and not on the donut. Flavor wise they are ok but honestly not really worth the price or effort to make an extra stop here. If they had donuts ready made and the glaze didn't drip off maybe I'd give 4 stars. But pricey for what you get- $2+ per donut.

I was sad to see that they don't offer 'housemade' pastries anymore, as I remember seeing in their past photos; their menu for their offerings was clearly updated. In addition, the drinks that we ordered were just not good at all: +the Toasted Marshmallow Latte - prepared with 2 shots of espresso, choice of milk, and a housemade toasted marshmallow syrup; this tasted like watered down coffee with no 'toasted marshmallow' taste; coffee could have been prepared strong, and we did ask for 'extra hot', but received it regular temperature +Witch's Potion - an apple cider with chai, topped with a dash of cinnamon; probably one of the worst ciders we've had - wasn't really sure the mixture with the chai, but this just seemed like it was an improperly steeped tea that did not have any flavor The staff were friendly, and there seemed to be local patrons who come here on a regular basis. We tried three items: the red velvet cake, the mocha cake, and an apple pastry (not sure of the exact name, but it reminded me of an apple turnover/empanada). Let's start with the red velvet cake, so good. Moist, flavorful, and honestly better than I expected. Red velvet is one of those cakes that's easy to mess up, but they executed it perfectly. What impressed me even more is that we bought it right before closing, didn't eat it immediately, and it still tasted amazing hours later even after being refrigerated. The mocha cake was well-made, soft, spongy, and clearly high quality, but it just wasn't for me. It has a strong coffee flavor, so if you're a coffee person, you'll probably love it. For me, it was about a 6/10. Now the real star: the apple pastry. This was everything. Perfectly flaky, lightly crisp on the outside, and filled with fresh, flavorful apples. It melted in your mouth! could've easily eaten multiples of these!! Service was also a highlight. Even though we came in right before closing, the staff was kind, patient, and efficient. Nothing felt rushed, which I really appreciated. The shop itself is cute and quaint. Perfect for a quick stop or a casual treat. Overall, Paris Baguette delivered. Some items may come down to personal preference, but the quality is there. I'd absolutely go back, especially for that red velvet cake and the apple pastry . They're best known for their bingsoo, or Korean shaved ice, which is perfectly fluffy and delightful, with a sweet, milky flavor that acts as a great canvas for all their toppings. You can't go wrong with of their bingsoo options, but they do run a little bit large and are meant for 2-3 people to share. If you're in the mood for something smaller, they do have a delightful selection of other desserts, chief among which is their rice paper waffle. This glorious confection is a super light, crispy waffle made entirely out of rice paper (which, as a side bonus, also means it's gluten-free). It's slightly chewy on the inside but generally incredibly crunchy and airy. It comes topped with a lovely rice-based syrup that tastes a bit savory -- almost malty -- and black sesame. You can also just get a scoop of their rich, creamy ice cream (instead of the shaved ice that it normally comes on top of), and it will be topped with a generous helping of red bean paste, injeolmi powder, sliced almonds, and corn flakes. The combination of flavors and textures levels up this humble little scoop to a full-scale dessert with sweet, savory, and nutty notes. Aside from their sweet treats, Soricha also has a bunch of fun drinks. They have a long menu of expertly brewed artisan teas, or you can also cool down with one of their refreshing fruit mixes. The omija berry refresher is particularly lovely, with a great balance of tart and sweet flavors that make it the perfect summertime drink. Beyond the food, the service is also super friendly and quick, and the cafe is gorgeously decorated with chill, relaxing ambient music. It's a delightful place to hang out with a friend to chat, finish some work, or do a bit of reading. I will note, however, that it is quite expensive -- the bingsoo is about $20, and the teas are a minimum of $7. It's so worth it every time, but it's definitely more of an occasional treat than an everyday indulgence.
