Great service. Enjoyed the atmosphere outside watching a game. The wings were amazing.

We had oysters, a wedge salad, and the seafood alfredo. All very tasty and our waitress was very nice. Will be coming back

Service was great and friendly atmosphere. We had flounder and shrimp. Large portions and prepared as we ask. Crispy!

This restaurant was exactly what the East Side needed when it arrived on the scene. The atmosphere is simultaneously perfect for a date night or for the big game, and I regularly enjoy it for both! When you walk in, you'll immediately notice the large bar surrounding the grill where you can saddle up, enjoy a beverage, and watch your steak being cooked to perfection. There is also ample seating on the front patio, plus a back porch which is more for sports-watching. The menu has evolved slightly over the past several years, refined down to the best of the best dishes. Don't let them forget to bring you some of the signature biscuits while you peruse the menu; they are loaded with cheesy, onion-y goodness! For an appetizer I highly recommend the Pimento Cheese Fries or the She-Crab Soup. They also do an outstanding job with calamari which is served with a sweet and spicy sauce that is a yummy update to the traditional marinara. Also from the Starters menu are the wings, which are perfect to order from Hub City Delivery if you are having a group of friends over. Try the Garlic Parmesan dry rub! When I'm craving a really good steak, Dudleys is one of the first places I think of. Whether you go for the 14oz Ribeye or the 8oz Filet Mignon, each steak is seasoned and grilled to your liking, plus the garlic butter they put on top doesn't hurt! On my last visit, I went for another of my favorite entrees: Low Country Boil. You rarely see this on a menu because it is quite complicated to serve so many types of seafood and meat that are each cooked properly, but Dudleys has it figured out. There is plenty to share between two people, if you're willing: 4-5 oysters, 6 mussels, 4-5 shrimp, 1 cluster of crab legs, served over sausage, corn, onions and potatoes in a delicious broth. Served up with melted butter, lemons, crackers, hot sauce, you name it, this meal is sure to please! The sandwiches are great for a smaller meal, and if you're there on a Thursday, they are 1/2 off. One of my husband's favorite is the brisket sandwich which is to die for with the melty cheese, caramelized onions, and savory au jus complimenting the smoked-in-house brisket. Be sure to check out the Dudleys Facebook page for food specials and other special nights such as Wednesday's Ladies Night: 1/2 priced drinks and appetizers. Dudleys is a staple for the East Side, and if you want more Spartanburg Restaurant Reviews, look no further: www.hubcitybites.com

The shrimp and grits with a fried egg!

We tried this place on a Thursday night by recommendation. We walked in and thought 'what a cool little spot' the open kitchen was upfront behind the bar, they had some nice outpost seating with heat lamps and a TV and a good amount of indoor tables. Far beyond the kitchen, decor or food was the service. Our waiter Will was top notch. Friendly, accommodating and just a real gem. One of our guests had a food allergy and Will was quick to say 'no problem- our food is all made to order, if you can dream it- we can do it!' We enjoyed the seafood boil (fish, shrimp and scallops) - broiled, they served 2 fish filets, 2 scallops and 3 shrimp- it was good, could've used a touch of seasoning- but still good. We also had the fried chicken sandwich which was large and served with some delicious fresh cut French fries. The best was the Shrimp and Grits with a fried egg- that was just delicious and had great flavor. We also ordered the daily dessert made fresh by the wife's owner- a strawberry cake, also very rich in strawberry and yummy. Overall we had a great meal- the owner even came over and said hello and thanks us for coming. But above all the service Will provided is what gets a great review! Can't beat that! I'm sure we'll be back and next the for the steak! :)

Seafood platter--super delicious! Only wish we could split the cooking styles

Had the NY Strip and the filet and both were excellent as well as the fried onion rings. Service was AAA. Will definitely go again.

This is a very nice/fancy place. The service is kind of slow but the food DEFINITELY makes up for it

Loved it. Steak cooked perfectly. Great server. One loud, obnoxious patron sitting at the bar WAS annoying. Other than that great.

We hadn't eaten at Long John Silver's since they stopped doing the all-you-can-eat Sundays before…read moreCOVID. Yep... it had been THAT long. I had noticed this location had been remodeled, and since the only other Long John Silver's I knew about in Greer shut down, I'd been curious about giving this one another shot. My last experience years ago wasn't exactly something I wanted framed on the wall. Fast-forward to Saturday. We had just left my in-laws after spending basically the entire day at a swim meet with Spartanburg Day School. Our daughter did great, by the way! But Mom and Dad were TIRED. We're driving along, both look over at Long John Silver's at the exact same time and, in perfect unison, say: "You wanna go to Long John's?" Our kids lost it. What made it even funnier is that our kids are 12 and 8 and had NEVER eaten Long John Silver's before. So naturally, my wife and I started talking it up like we were taking them to some legendary seafood institution from our childhood. "No, seriously... y'all don't understand. Long John Silver's USED to be GOOD." Well... apparently somebody told this location they had a reputation to restore, because THEY DELIVERED. I ordered at the kiosk under "Bigdaddy," which is a nickname my now-12-year-old gave me when she was about four and learning about sizes. I've used it ever since. It usually gets a laugh from the staff and makes for a pretty good icebreaker. The restaurant was BUSY, so we sat down and patiently waited. Then the food came out. Y'ALL. PIPING hot. Nothing burnt. Nothing overcooked. Crispy fish. Hot fries. Every platter exactly how it should be. Not one person at our table had a complaint. We spent close to $100 for four people with drinks, which isn't exactly "grab a little cheap fast food" territory anymore, but considering the amount of food we got and how good EVERYTHING was? Worth every penny. The staff was incredibly friendly, the manager was especially welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean and well taken care of. Somebody is clearly running this place the right way. I rang the bell on the way out Saturday. And apparently Long John Silver's wasn't finished with me yet. Two days later, tonight, I open the app and see: MONDAY-WEDNESDAY BOGO ANY PLATTER ONLINE ONLY. Excuse me?! So here I am again. And here's what really impressed me: the same manager was there again tonight. Which is what I was hoping for; with the same friendly attitude, same clean restaurant, same quality food. That's what I look for -- consistency. Anybody can have one good night. Doing it again is what makes me want to come back. And yes... I rang that bell AGAIN tonight. Long John Silver's, you officially redeemed yourself. And now my kids finally understand what Mom and Dad were talking about.
