We were there on a Thursday late afternoon. It was not busy. Excellent service! Beer is good and the pretzels are giant and delicious!

It started off as a long drive for me to try a new brewery, and now I'm a regular.

What I like about this place is that firstly it hosts many sorts of events. We weren't here late at night but we came here the morning after check out some of the vendors being featured here. The fact that it's dog friendly was even better . I like that you're able to charge by the ounce at this place. There's even food featured here too and a pretty fair price . I tried a few of the hard ciders that were featured here since I've never had that before and I'm basically hooked on their product. Bars like this are just pretty engaging. Great outdoor seating and very clean restrooms! Great place to try an array of new drinks!

It's a fun, casual spot with a spacious layout--there's seating on the main level, upstairs, and outside as well. The self-serve, pour-your-own system is a great feature. After a quick check-in with the cashier, you're free to sample and pour what you like. The taps offer a wide variety of options, including beer and wine, which was a pleasant surprise! There was live music playing during our visit, adding a really nice touch to the laid-back atmosphere. They also offer snacks for purchase (paid at the cashier). One suggestion: it would be nice to see more non-alcoholic options besides just soda--maybe a craft NA beer or mocktail for those not drinking (like myself). Overall, it was a quick but enjoyable stop. We'd return again. I also noticed they offer bingo some nights- that's always fun.

The burgers are legit, the chicken is cooked perfectly, and the appetizer menu is very unique. The other thing that stands out at this bar is the service. Mark put together a great staff, and you'll get great service no matter who waits on you (shout out to Peyton). It's a smaller spot, that reminds me of the small neighborhood bars around Chicago. You can't go wrong with any of the food on the menu, I love the smoked chicken wings (the homemade blue cheese dressing is the best I've ever had). They should consider selling this at a commercial level. I don't give a lot of "bars" 5 stars reviews, but Flat Iron Tap deserves it.

She says sit down and moves a pair of gloves that belong to the woman next to me. So I sit down and get ready to order when, the woman next to me taps me on the shoulder and says she's saving the seat for someone who will be here soon so I'll have to get up... The bartender looks at her, then looks and me and shrugs her shoulders... Glad I didn't pay the meter before I sat down. I didn't know you could group up and reserve seats at the bar before your party is there. My bad. Now I know. I should have made reservations... for the bar stool... I thought I was becoming a regular. I'll have to seriously think again. That really felt pretty weak. Super disappointing.

Plus they have a nice list of specialty drinks. I had the 252 Lager and it was refreshing and light but very smooth. We sat at the bar and ate. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. They have a nice menu of appetizers and entrees. We tried the fried Brussels sprouts and the bone in wings along with a cup of creamy vegetable soup. It was dollar wing night so we got a dozen wings with the bourbon bbq and Thai chili. The sprouts were amazingly tasty with the honey garlic glaze and toasted to perfection. The wings were huge and very flavorful with just a perfect amount of sauce. The soup was delicious too! The bar has several tables and seemed very spacious and also has a back room eating area. The brewery is housed inside an old bank so they have an old vault room with relics that you can walk into and check out. Overall this place has a very cool vibe and I'm definitely looking forward to going back again and enjoying more of their craft beers and food.

Just don't expect a stiff drink from the bar. Let's see if the food is better? Wife ordered the brisket I am trying their buttermilk pub chicken sandwich. Okay so the buttermilk chicken definitely delicious, grilled Brussel sprouts ohhh yay yummy brisket tender not overly smoked large portion nice bbq sauce on the side. French fries hot crispy and fresh Mac n cheese good with a little smoke flavor. Yummy is the best way to describe everything. Would I order food here again. ABSOLUTELY Bon appétit.
