This was our 2nd time visiting East Troy Brewery since 2020. It's located right in the town square in East Troy. They have a great selection of craft beers on tap - 20+ varieties! Plus they have a nice list of specialty drinks. I had the 252 Lager and it was refreshing and light but very smooth. We sat at the bar and ate. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. They have a nice menu of appetizers and entrees. We tried the fried Brussels sprouts and the bone in wings along with a cup of creamy vegetable soup. It was dollar wing night so we got a dozen wings with the bourbon bbq and Thai chili. The sprouts were amazingly tasty with the honey garlic glaze and toasted to perfection. The wings were huge and very flavorful with just a perfect amount of sauce. The soup was delicious too! The bar has several tables and seemed very spacious and also has a back room eating area. The brewery is housed inside an old bank so they have an old vault room with relics that you can walk into and check out. Overall this place has a very cool vibe and I'm definitely looking forward to going back again and enjoying more of their craft beers and food. read more

First time here. Seems like a nice place it's freezing cold outside warm and toasty inside nice fireplace. spacious with room between tables, multiple options bar , high tops, casual table tops. Service fast and friendly. Tried the old fashioned sorry it seemed to have more cinnamon in it than booze. It's a brewery so I guess if you are into micro brews you might have better luck. Just don't expect a stiff drink from the bar. Let's see if the food is better? Wife ordered the brisket I am trying their buttermilk pub chicken sandwich. Okay so the buttermilk chicken definitely delicious, grilled Brussel sprouts ohhh yay yummy brisket tender not overly smoked large portion nice bbq sauce on the side. My husband is from East Troy and we're here from So California as his mom passed away. We had a family dinner with the siblings at ET Brewery on Monday evening this past week. The server, Ella, was absolutely a delight and so attentive. The food was incredible as were the drinks. I believe it was a special menu for dinner and we bad both the prime rib and chicken piccata. And the tiramisu for dessert!! Again, excellent food and service!! And we picked up a couple of tshirts for the trip home. read more

A couple years out and they have improved on their service and wait times! They got rid of their self-ordering due to Covid and are back to waiting on tables which feels better. Our servers were great and friendly/helpful. Thanks for that! Unfortunately, they've taken some great healthy options off the menu since my last review. For example: any other salad except for a plain house salad (think side salad, plus there aren't any healthy dressings available) or Caesar salad. Other than that, the rest of the menu is basically burgers, sandwiches, and fried things. If that's what you're after, awesome, I'm sure you'll love it. But for me, that's a step in the wrong direction since last time I reviewed. Please add some fun salads or lighter offerings! In addition, all of our family got the fish fry and most people thought the beer breading, although tasty, was too thick and doughy. They'd want it to be thinner and crunchier. read more

Being East Troy locals we have continued to try and like this place. But every time we come back the menu changes. Tonight we tried again and the fish was extremely overpriced for what was served. It had good flavor but very small portions for $18.00 each and potato pancakes were $3.00 more ??? That was not the case a few months ago when we were here last. This is not a server problem she was great, but $61.00 for 3 beers and 2 mediocre fish fries is ridiculous. I don't think that I can return. Barley's or Some Place Else is more reasonable and better than this place!! read more

This place needs serious management help. The staff is constantly overworked, and it shows--there's barely any help, and the turnover rate is ridiculous. When a restaurant can't hold onto good employees, that says a lot about how people are treated behind the scenes. I've seen firsthand how unfair and disrespectful they can be. The food takes forever to come out, and when I met the new owner, he was arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of improving the place, he seems more interested in flexing his ego. No wonder morale is so low. Do better--for your staff and your customers. read more

We arrived on an 80 degree Sunday in late October an hour before they closed, we were welcomed warmly by a young gentleman. The patio was full and a lot of dogs just chillin out- I had to try their Octoberfest beer which did not disappoint, it is full of flavor and did not disappear after going down- I had the Americana burger which was full of flavor and grilled to perfection- the bun was not overpowering- all of the help paid extra attention to Calvin and Persey, which as a dog owner, they definitely won me over- The interior is super adorable and the bathrooms are clean and updated- Definitely a place to spend your money- We will be back! read more

A year ago my son and now daughter in law were planning their wedding. They chose East Troy Brewery for their rehearsal dinner venue. The managing partner Sasha and Executive Chef Derek made this event the most enjoyable and magical rehearsal dinner anyone could have imagined. They attended to every detail to perfection. The food, prepared, setup and served by Chef Derek himself was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the brisket, best I ever had! The timing of everything was perfect and Sasha and Derek went above and beyond at every turn. A guest wanted a scotch not available and within minutes Sasha found a bottle miraculously! Every detail I requested was meticulously put into place and executed to perfection! An enormous and heartfelt thank you to Sasha, Derek and crew for making our rehearsal dinner an event to remember for all our guests, but especially the guests of honor. I highly and enthusiastically recommend East Troy Brewery for your next event or just to hang out and eat and drink sampling their special unique brews. What a great place! Of course being at a brewery, I started with a beer and I had the Summer Sipper...; lit was exactly what I want in a sour beer! I love that you can also purchase cans to go. We also ordered food and I was pleasantly surprised. I like the ability to scan a QR code to order, very convenient. We started with appetizers, the pretzel was substantial and the accompanied cheese sauce was delicious! Also, the handmade cheese curds are a must! When my kiddo ordered the Mac and cheese I was expecting Kraft, but instead it was a delicious homemade gourmet type...maybe not what some kids want, but mine loved it! The prices are quite reasonable as well. Overall, the beer, food and staff were great! However, this is in a smaller town so during large events I imagine the sudden influx of people can be overwhelming for the town so expect possible delays. Doing a yelp search on a Friday night, found a restaurant downtown but it was packed. Decided to try the place across the street called the East Troy Brewery. Damn were we glad. Got in and ordered drinks, wife had a margarita and I had a very surprising stout flight. Two were ok, and two were great - the J Henry and the English stouts. We ordered the fish fry and both loved it. Not your typical Mrs Paul's fish. This was real cod cooked to perfection. A little crisp on the outside and deliciously moist on the inside. No dry chewy fish. The tartar sauce was very tasty and the Cole slaw had a slight apple vinegar taste. We will be back in the future and will be bringing friends with. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, had a few very good beers, we're going to stay for lunch, but we're inundated with what look like a little league team and they took over the place and it was so loud we were forced out so we went to eat somewhere else. We stopped by on a Saturday after cutting down Christmas trees for a snack and to warm up. Went with a group of 8 - 6 adults, 2 kids. We asked for separate checks and you order at the bar then they deliver food and drinks to your table. Cool location - old bank and they have the vault open so you can look in there. They have a limited menu for lunch, but the pizzas are pretty big, so almost everyone got a pizza each. We ordered the curds and accidentally got the queso dip with chips instead. They were able to send out an order of curds pretty quickly though to remedy the issue. Unfortunately, the curds were pretty greasy. We would've liked a healthier option on the lunch menu - salad, veggies, something like that maybe. When we tried settling up at the end, the checks got mixed up. Some drinks were added to the wrong bill and someone settled someone else's tab. It became a bit of a process. The staff was apologetic and tried hard to make things go smoothly. Great location in East Troy with rotating selection of beer. The tangerine beer is fantastic!! In the summer they have a nice outdoor patio with live music occasionally and the food is generally great. My biggest complaint is their hours (or lack thereof) and shortage of staff. Several times I've been there and the service is super slow and we were told it was due to no staff. The hours on Sunday are only 11-4p, closed Monday and Tuesday. This is such a great place I wish they had more open hours! read more

First time. Had the 1/2 lb burger, was very good and cooked as ordered the vegetables that came on it were crisp and fresh. Fries were good but could have been a bit mor crispy they got soft well before I finished my food. Also no regular condiments on table after asking twice for my condiments choices I received them in cups, this was fine as they gave an ample about. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. The prices were what is normal now a days. The portions were a bit on the small size. The menu is okay. For a meat and potatoes guy the food choice's are a bit limited. But for someone who likes fancier fair it definitely will please. Kids had grilled cheese and fries and I must say it was very nice. As this is a pub brewery it is not necessarily kid oriented so don't expect chicken strips and other kid menu items. And I get it. This is a place for adults although they treated our young kids very well and patiently when they were ordering that was nice. I went here for dinner with my husband before attending a concert at Alpine Valley. We thought we had allowed ourselves enough time to sit, order and eat our meal, however the service was so slow we were almost late for the concert. They were way understaffed and the server who helped us had to be flagged down for virtually everything. The food itself was alright - basic brew pub food. We sat outside which was a decent ambiance - they had live music playing on the patio. However the service aspect of things is really what got to me. They need to hire more workers and get the customer service aspect of things in order before I would want to come back here. read more

There for 30 minutes before drink order was taken then another 30 minutes before app order was taken and waited well over 30 minutes again for food once we ordered. First waitress never came back after taking drink order and we had to flag down bartender who then became our waitress. Food was mediocre at best. Chicken Cesar salad was $15, $4 upcharge for chicken that was barely 1.5-2 oz piece of chicken. My son's wings were bigger pieces of chicken. Our group of 4 went in at 4:30pm on a Saturday night. It took a half hour to get our drinks, then a half hour to get our appetizer, then a half hour to get our entree. After ordering our drinks we were not paid any attention to until we flagged down the bartender. It was not busy and unfortunately the poor bartender had to take on the role of our waitress because she never came by us again after taking a drink order. The food was decent however not worth the wait. By the time we left it was 2 hours after we originally came. I ordered a bourbon apple cider mule priced at $9 but then up charged $3 for bourbon although this was never explained to me. The chicken in our ceasar salad is was as big as a chicken wing and cost an extra $4. It pains us to complain (and be karens) but the service was awful! Don't think we will be back.... Decided to try this place on the way back from our activities. I thought it was really cool how they turned this place into a bank. We were sat very quickly and had a pretty nice table. My wife and I generally enjoy coming here. Not so on this day. Stopped in for early lunch on a Sunday. She ordered the half chicken from the menu. She also ordered a Diet Coke. After we were seated, for about 7 minutes, out from the kitchen comes a young lady that explains that they don't even turn their smokers on until noon (an hour away).... WHY is chicken a lunch option when it's not ready at lunch...? Then my wife's Diet Coke was flat... in order to make up for the menu issue, the waitstaff stated that they would give one of our menu items for free... that never happened... full bill at the end. I'm not not done... I ordered pizza. Upon its arrival I requested parm cheese... their response..."we don't carry that"... Pizza is half their menu!!! First, I want to acknowledge that I am writing this review on Mother's Day, one of the busiest days in restaurants. However, I'm not writing this review because the food was bad (it wasn't!) or because it took a long time to get (it did but that was fine, because we knew it would!), but because of the very poor service we received. We arrived at the restaurant around 11:50a and we're seated right away. The server approached the table and took our drink order. Unfortunately we were unable to order beer due to some medical stuff so went with lemonades. She delivered our lemonades and took our order. She never came to our table again for another hour - only after the runner placed our food! She asked if everything was okay and if we needed refills! You think? Now, IF she had been running all over the place during that hour I could have understood why she had not come to the table. However, I watched her stop at each of the four tables around us at least once during that time, hearing her apologize for the delay and explain to at least two of the tables that the kitchen was backed up. She walked past us each time she talked to the other tables. Even when she returned our credit card after paying, she didn't even say thank you. Having worked in restaurants, we generally tip very well, especially on holidays but, we it took everything in us to tip 15% today, which we did. read more
