Mark put together a great staff, and you'll get great service no matter who waits on you (shout out to Peyton). It's a smaller spot, that reminds me of the small neighborhood bars around Chicago. You can't go wrong with any of the food on the menu, I love the smoked chicken wings (the homemade blue cheese dressing is the best I've ever had). They should consider selling this at a commercial level. I don't give a lot of "bars" 5 stars reviews, but Flat Iron Tap deserves it.

I patiently waited in line for a good 20 minutes and when it was finally my turn, the bar tender made eye contact but then took the order of a male who had just approached the bar rudely between customers and when the bartender looked up at the scowl on my face, she said you're next. When she finally helped me, I ordered 3 glasses of wine, a beer and a soda. When she served the wine, they were in plastic cups and said sorry we ran out of glassware; for a place I'm paying $18/glass, you surely should've asked first before pouring into a plastic cup. I was not happy but she didn't seem to care; my card was on the bar already so she took it and away she went. I have been to Grand Geneva many times in the past, even worked there for a few years, and I expect a heck of a lot better. Very disappointing.

My in-laws found a good spot slightly outside of the main strip for us to go to. Great outdoor seating in the front and the back, with plenty of indoor seating (and a touch tunes). They had a father's day deal too which got the FIL a free beer (went with a soda) and half off his entree. I got their fan favorite smash burger (smash) and some house made chips. Tasty meal and even had enough for leftovers that were just as good the next day.

He was not drinking he was in a corner and after 20 minutes he decided to get up and scream at him and demanded to see his idea again thinking that we provided a fake ID for him of some sort. We're all old in our early forties. This is on him not us. The team here was nice but this was a terrible representation for our experience. We were really upset about it and we never bothered checking out the other places that we wanted to check out. Instead we just hung out and went back to our hotel , bought drinks and had fun when we could have probably had it at the bar with one person being sober who never planned on drinking anyways. An apology could have gone a long way and been more personable than taking matters into your own hands
