I've used them twice. The first time I got a "new to me" set of tires. They had full tread and looked new, but I saved a couple hundred bucks and no kidding, they had me done in an hour. The second time, I came in for just a tire repair and it was done in 10 minutes for free. They have brand new tires as well and I would still use them if I got a new set. It's the things that I mentioned in beginning of review that will bring me back. The used option and saving money is just a bonus. Also, I like to support local ATX businesses.

Took my car there for the first time to get some periodic maintenance done. After nearly two hours I returned (I had not heard from anyone as to the status of my car) to find my car sitting out in the lot.....they had changed the oil and rotated the tires! After the guy at the service counter informed me of this I told him I specifically told him I didn't want or need an oil change and he acknowledged that....then he placed the invoice on the counter in front of me. Bottom line: he made things right. It is so difficult to find a good reliable honest car maintenance place and the search seems to continue.

Other than that: service was decent and quick and they were fairly up front about the price. The Also, not a big deal, but they don't have a waiting area, so you have to sit out in the hot sun while the work was being finished (major downside in austin summer). Overall: Going here was a mistake. They've gotten good reviews in the past for being a solid budget used tire place, but something must have changed in recent years.. Not a terrible place, but nothing to write home about. If you want a great deal/experience -- i had great luck with Austin Tireman a few months back. Very up front about prices, honest, very affordable, good quality, excellent service, no bs experience, you will leave feeling good, and they have a waiting area. They've got my business in the future and all my friends/family. (i would've gone there instead, but they were closed that day)
