I was unable to loosen the lug nuts because they had been tightened extremely hard during my previous visit. While trying to remove them, I broke one of the wheel studs due to the excessive force required. I stopped immediately and went back to Orange Tire to address the issue. I explained that I had been there a month ago and that their team had overtightened the lug nuts to the point where I couldn't remove them. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff initially tried to blame rust. I can understand one stuck lug nut -- but not three out of five on a single wheel. That's not normal and clearly indicates improper torque. The manager spent about 15-20 minutes on the phone (possibly with the owner), and eventually told me that I would need to purchase new parts myself, bring them in, and they would replace them for free. I offered a simple and reasonable solution -- just reimburse the cost so I could handle the repair myself and not waste additional time.
