Yumm!! Only issue is having to pick lol. Soooo good. Love the freshness and windows you can watch them make their amazing donuts and biscuits. The flavors are amazing. Get the Homer and the maple glaze

Looked up donuts in the area and this place had the best reviews. Google told me it's best to order the day before because they run out fast. I ordered the vanilla glazed donut, strawberry filled donut, vanilla cinnamon roll, and a cold brew. All the donuts were so soft, sweet, and delicious! The cold brew was watered down and not that great. I highly suggest placing an order the day before you want the donuts.

Decided to try this place on a trip to St. Simon's because it has quite the reputation. The line was out the door when we arrived but the line moved fairly quickly. We ordered basically one of everything and breakfast sandwiches. The donuts were good, not great, but good. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious but needed some seasoning or a sauce. Overall cute shop and would come back!

Wow this place is fantastic!! Donuts are one of my favorite foods in all the world. When traveling, I love looking for the top rated donuts thru Yelp! At Dulce Dough Bakery, every donut I tried was incredible. The cinnamon brioche donut and the maple brioche donuts were our favorites. My husband had the jalapeño, bacon, cheddar cathead biscuit with the addition of eggs, bacon & cheese. He wants to go back tomorrow for another one!! Coffee is served in jadeite mugs. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice. When my friend was commenting on the homemade juice, the guy making it brought us a small glass of juice to sample! We had some fancy, high end meals while visiting Sea Island. This small donut shop has been the highlight of our visit!

Personalized service with quality food. My daughters loved the donuts while I enjoyed your mouthwatering tomato and cream cheese quiche. It was delicious and we appreciated the friendly staff and quaint atmosphere. Will definitely return if we vacation here again!

What you know to be a donut is rat puke compared to Dulce Dough! Clean out your deprived depraved mouth and prepare for the best thing you will eat all year! Lemon cream was the favorite for us; it's better than any lemon curd or custard I've ever had. Lightly acidic, exactly the right amount of lemon, felt frothy in taste but resided in pudding cream. I can't explain the Willy Wonka-level magic there but it was divine! The pastry dough was perfectly rendered to be light, tender but not chewy, sugared tastefully (not saccharine), and absolutely zero flavor of lard, grease, or artificial anything, and I couldn't even tell it was fried as donuts are. It was so pristine it didn't offend my system in any way as every other donut I've ever had always does. The pear donut had actual pear flavor baked into the dough that stood out over any other taste. Amazing! Again, no lard nor glazey saccharine tastes, just pear and pastry! I did brush off the excess brown sugar topping which was too much, but wow, this was incredible! The chocolate I thought I was ordering turned out to be chocolate ganache glaze rather than a chocolate pastry. Similar to their "Homer" (Simpson) donut with pink ganache, this chocolate was far from the likes of Kwik-E-Mart and more a fit for fine dining desserts! Beautifully executed, it would've been ironic on a donut had the pastry not been yet again a home run out of the ballpark! Boston Cream--screw eclairs--even the best Euro pastries I've had over there can't beat it! Again, that perfect light pastry, real-azz cocoa chocolate ganache glaze, and pudding cream. We have some impressive gourmet donuts near us in Phila area, but man, Dulce Dough beats them with their fine points! DD does SSI a culinary blessing and we all should be grateful! Tip: order online around 4pm the evening before. They will and do sell out of EVERYTHING! I asked and they said they'd gone through 1000 donuts in a morning! One one hand, holy sh!t, on the other hand, I'm not surprised!

So cute! The staff are so nice and welcoming. There are little seating areas as well as tables. The pecan sticky bun is out of this world! The coffee is so good we're going back tomorrow just because of that. Highly recommended.

When we heard there was a doughnut shop on the island we knew instantly we had to stop by and try it out! Their French style baked goods are delicious with a flaky dough and the perfect amount of sweetness they make an excellent breakfast treat! The shop is hopping but well worth the wait. The staff were very friendly and the case was filled with a myriad of sweet confections! They also make quiches fresh to order which we will have to try out on our next visit. This time we tried the maple, chocolate with sprinkles and the Baba Au Rhum. I was, of course, partial to the maple (my fav!) very tasty. But, I can't let this review go on without mentioning their packaging! So very classic and old fashioned doughnut vibes I'm in love with their boxing! lol! This is 100% a must stop when visiting SSI definitely treat yourself!!!

Adorable donut shop! A tight squeeze when it's busy, but didn't stop us from waiting patiently for these puppies! Ok, my favorite thing I ordered? - their black coffee! Now that isn't a dig against them. Quite the opposite! It was such a lovely surprise to have a fantastic cup of joe with a delicious donut. The brioche donuts, although great, we all agreed they each tasted the same- just with different toppings. Not my favorite chocolate topping as I prefer a hardened chocolate on top of my donut- and this was syrup. The only "different" one we got was the cinnamon sugar brioche. Like a soft churro! Didn't get any filled ones, but I imagine they're good! Best thing my husband ordered and said he'd go back for.. the cathead biscuit. Crispy outside and soft on the inside. Buttery, cheesy spicy flavor- yum!

Amazing and busy little donut shop. Everything I had was phenomenal. It was packed with a line at 7am. Loved it.

The interior was super cute! Tea sets and light blue coloring and couches. Very aesthetically pleasing. The donuts were light and airy -- like biting into the most delectable cloud. They were sweet but not SO sweet that you couldn't come back for seconds and thirds (fourths if you're me). I highly recommend! (:

The best donuts I have ever had!!! I got a cream cheese cinnamon roll, maple glazed, raspberry streusel and Boston cream. And had the best iced vanilla latte!

Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.

The business has a small parking lot it shares with other businesses, there is also a small gravel lot beside it that you can park at. If you go at a busy time, parking can be a chore. Upon arrival, the business was busy with both inside and outside seating filled but we were seated immediately at a table with both bench and chair seating that shared the bench with other tables. There is also bar seating and you can sit at a high top that borders the brew stations. It took a few minutes for us to meet our server who took our drink orders. Soda for her and non-alcoholic IPA for me. It took our server a while to bring our drinks and she forgot my IPA so she had to go find it. Once we had our beverages, we ordered our food. We started with the bacon wrapped blue cheese dates - the dates are served on tooth picks and looked great but the blue cheese overpowered the flavor of everything else. My wife ordered the special of the day (not on everyday menu) which was shrimp tacos with a black bean pineapple salsa and house made chips and fries. I opted for the house burger with cheddar cooked medium and chips and fries. It took a long time for our food to come out and after observing our server chatting it with a table of her friends who were behind us, I am pretty sure she may have forgot to order it in a timely manner. When our food came it was auctioned off to us by another team member (no server to be found). My wife's tacos were overstuffed and fell apart. I tried one and the fried shrimp tasted really fishy to me, not like fried shrimp is supposed to taste. My burger was okay but nothing special. Really wanted to like this place but it did not live up to our expectations.
