    Salmon

We found this restaurant online after searching for restaurants to go to before the theater and also for my husband's 50th birthday. The ambiance is really trendy and posh. We were seated at a nice cozy corner booth. For dinner, I ordered the salmon, which was delicious. Great wine selection as well. The dessert was not very good though. We found the prices to be a bit high as well. The staff were all very kind and attentive.

Somewhat dim but table lights helped Music a little loud but heard and could be heard Comfy seats and classy marble tables Service sluggish Bread was crispy and butter pleasantly unusual Shrimp was but 3 but was chilled and the cocktail sauce was very good The mezze plate was mehhhhhze at best. Hummus was not very toothsome and veggies were ok--I guess... Caesar salad was smallish and lots of yummy sour dough croutons but the dressing was bland--needed more anchovy pasta, garlic and Worcester sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and sliced and seasoned just right--was a little rubbery. :-( The portion was also a tad stingy They are losing a star because nobody came by after food was dropped off to check in on us. That's my new pet peeve...don't scamper off hoping for the best.

What a gem! We found dulu online while looking for dinner spots near Tanglewood. The restaurant is inside of a hotel and has the cutest decor. The reserved a table for 3 in the bar. The service team is still working out some kinks, but the food and hospitality make up for it. We had the charcuterie board for an appetizer. Our drinks were soooo good, they have an extensive bar menu. My table mates ordered the salmon, I ordered the steaks. Everything was delicious. When back in the area I will definitely dine here again.

What a beautiful restaurant & cafe. Dulu is tucked inside the gorgeous Doctor Sax House boutique hotel on the square in Lenox. The cocktails are expertly crafted, the food is top notch and the service is great and always with a smile. If you're looking for an experience in the Berkshires this is a must.

The grounds are beautiful to explore, and you get to hear performances by world class musicians, while enjoying a picnic, if you wish! They always have a great lineup of classical as well as popular artists. I go regularly in the summers for concerts, and usually sit in the hall, but this time I enjoyed a wonderful concert on the lawn with my extended family. People really go all out setting up their picnics! Definitely get there a couple of hours early if you want to snag a prime and shady spot, especially if it's a popular artist. (Lawn tix are free for kids under 18!) You can bring your own food and drinks, or there are dining options on premises, and you can even order a picnic-to-go in advance online. Bring all the accoutrements to make your setup as comfy as possible - lawn chairs, picnic blankets, cooler, shade umbrella, misting fan, maybe a candelabra lol. The lawn is beautifully kept and lush & green. On this occasion we saw the powerhouse quartet of Emanuel Ax, Leonidas Kavakos, Yo-Yo Ma, and Antoine Tamestit performing an all-Beethoven program. The music was transcendent and the weather was luckily perfect, and it was a pleasurable way to spend an afternoon. Again, I stipulate arriving 1-2 hours early, more if you want time to tour the sprawling grounds properly. There will be a traffic jam leading up to the parking lot, and parking can take a while (though very organized). If the main lot is full, it might take another 5-7 minutes to walk to the gate from the parking field across the street.

This morning we arrived early for the Saturday rehearsal of the Sunday concert. It was magnificent,…read morehearing Berlioz' "Symphonique Fantastique" and the Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 2. The shed is a comfy, brilliantly resonant arena to enjoy the musical experience. The rehearsal, of course, may include repetition, incomplete performance and some starting ands stopping. That said, it nonetheless offers glorious insight into the making of classical music. And importantly, if it's raining, it's where you stay dry. The Tanglewood lawn is famous, and justly so. It is beautifully kept, it's a lot of giant shade trees under which you'll find hundreds of people enjoying pic pics as they watch and listen to the music on good screens with terrific outdoor speakers. The Saturday morning rehearsals are not nearly as crowded as the concerts, so our photos show how much room there for everyone (little ones are welcome outdoors, too). Bring your own picnic or buy snacks on site (you can also purchase rather expensive seated meals as well). There's a beer garden if you prefer alcoholic beverages like beer, wine and cocktails. Finally there's a cute gift shop on premises for Tanglewood-logo items. Lastly, our small complaint. Tanglewood is not inexpensive. It's not necessarily out of line compared to other summer musical events, but concert tickets can run well over $100 (less for the lawn, of course). Our three rehearsal tickets in the shed were $56 each with as $27 handling fee (what that is). That seems a bit excessive and may keep some people away, though again lawn seats are less pricey. That's our opinion, anyway.

Alyssa was friendly, attentive, and very easy to talk to, adding to the restaurant's welcoming and inviting atmosphere. We started with the Lemon Blossom cocktail, which was smooth, citrusy, floral, and incredibly easy to sip -- a refreshing and delicious way to begin the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the 110 Cajun Yellowfin Tuna, and it completely impressed us. The tuna tasted incredibly fresh, with vibrant flavors and the perfect balance of spice. We enjoyed it so much that after finishing the first plate, we immediately ordered a second one. For our mains, I had the shrimp scampi, while my husband ordered the Cajun-style Norwegian salmon with broccoli and roasted Brussels sprouts. Both dishes were flavorful, satisfying, and nicely prepared. Between the delicious food and warm hospitality, this turned out to be a wonderful dining experience.

New owners and a new menu this season - a good start, but many kinks yet to be worked out…read more A good basic "pub food" menu for a family-targeted sit-down restaurant at a ski mountain (bar appetizers, burgers, soup, salads, etc.), but it seems like there aren't quite enough servers to handle the volume of customers on a busy ski day, and the kitchen timing needs work. Our family of 8 skied a few days after Christmas, and after we ordered our lunch, the wait for our (very basic!) order was very long (at least 25-30 minutes). Then when the food finally started being delivered, it arrived in "shifts" so that half our group ended up finishing their lunches before the other half had even received their orders. (First the chili in bread bowls was delivered, then 5 minutes later the burger orders were delivered, then 5 minutes after that, the deep-fried items arrived, etc...) We understand that off-season staffing in the Berkshires is a challenge, but it was disappointing not to be able to share lunch with each other at the same time, and the slow-down in everyone being able to eat delayed our return to the slopes as we'd wished. The food was more than adequate for what it is, and the upstairs space & view of the mountain are beautiful as always, but the service needs work.

The French onion soup was soggy and tasteless , the nachos and Mac and were good. The black diamond chicken was tiny and tasteless , we received a dry baked potato and carrots after being told it was paired with roasted potatoes and green beans. They did bring some green beans to correct the order but they were not edible. They tasted like propane oddly. The chicken sandwich was very dry with a visibly old and near rotten shriveled tomato. The French fries were good as were the beverages. Our waiter was great and incredibly understanding of our poor experience. After finding out that a staff member provided incorrect information and our gift card would not be honored the manager called her DM who informed her there was nothing they could do. We got 25% off the bill at the end of it all but even with that the food was not great. A couple items ordered weren't awful but it's not something I would return for. Super disappointed , I really wish we went to another place to dine.
