Through all of it, Lindsay was absolutely incredible. I honestly don't know how she did it. Even as the restaurant filled up, she somehow made it feel like I was her only table. My drink never got low, everything arrived quickly, and she checked in at exactly the right moments without ever making it feel rushed. She was friendly, sharp, and completely on top of everything happening around her. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, and service like that is rare. It's a standard 6oz pre-form that they call "smash" as an excuse to put a steak weight on it and cook it beyond recognition. The brioche bun is "fake brioche." Has the outer look, but is super dry and tasteless. The irony was I ordered and paid for a side salad. It came in a tiny soup cup and in it had the shredded lettuce and pico I would expect on the nachos. Just really was hopeful. I could see a good vibe at times in there if you're under 25yrs old. Our waitress assured we would get dessert fast if we wanted it but we didn't wanna bother considering everything. She apologized again, saying she would talk to the manager and that he would come over to talk to us. He never did come over. They took off my scallops from the bill at least. But this was by far the worst experience ever. A few small suggestions and the experience may have been better - provide water at the beginning, we shouldn't have had to wait 1/2 an hour to get some, bring us the bread, we shouldn't have to ask for it and during the wait it should have been offered as a courtesy for the absurd long wait and frustration for not having the meal my husband wanted, and if you say a manager would come over, they should come over. The meal started out ok but it just got worse and worse. My husband and I paid our bill quickly and left. He had to get me food elsewhere as I was still very hungry.
