The server was super helpful and attentive, always kept our drinks full and their special seasoning was SUPREME!! A Tuesday night well spent with friends

The hubby was craving a crab boil. This place was good and so was the service. The crab was a bit over cooked and there are no substitutes for orders which is a bit annoying for me because I do not like crawfish, but otherwise it was good, I just hate to be wasteful unnecessarily. The portions are huge enough for sharing.

I love me some Mr & Mrs Crab but sadly don't live near a location so when we were visiting a baseball game recently we stopped in before the game. Service is friendly and super fast! The food was yummy and seasoned just right. Always a fun experience visiting.

OH MY! This place is a whole vibe! Music was (censored) hip hop/rap & we had a great time hanging out waiting for food & while we were eating! Got there around 8:10 and food was out by 8:30! Our waitress Suri was AMAZING!! Seriously enjoyed her personality so much, very bubbly & constantly made sure we were all set! Im glad she got to take care of us & we had some good laughs. We got fried pickles for an app which was half off since I checked in on Yelp! What a nice surprise. (other choice was 1/2 off beer or wine). They came out burning hot & were delicious! Got 1 pound of Dungeness crab that came with 1 corn & 2 potatoes, with seasoned garlic butter sauce / mild heat option. BOMB! FIRE! Everything was so unbelievably good and flavorful. The trays are brought to the table and shook up, then steam rolls out when the bag opens, just beautiful! You're all set to dig in with your bib, gloves, & tools!

What I love about this place is the fact that you can create your own custom seafood boil! You can choose your seafood, sides, seasoning/sauce and spice level. I opted for the Mr. & Mrs. Crab special sauce with a Hot spice level. Wow, what a great combination with the crab legs, shrimp and green mussels! You get corn and potatoes and I added an egg for the perfect seafood boil. It can get quite messy but they provide you with gloves and a bib. Service was good and the atmosphere was great too. Depending on the day/time (Friday night vs Wednesday evening) it could get very crowded and a little loud with the music. Overall, great experience and plan on coming back in the new year!

Nothing fancy, it's all about the food. Great service and good quality boil at a good value!

My husband and I came here for a date on a Thursday evening. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Our server took our drinks order and brought them out promptly. Food: Calamari- 3/5- some parts were rubbery and other parts were too crunchy. The pieces that were cooked appropriately tasted good. It was all a weird mix. Would not order again. Seafood boil- 5/5- My husband and I ordered the same combinations. We had 1/2 lb of crab legs which basically gives you one cluster of 5 legs, shrimp with the head removed (you can order shrimp with the head on for a cheaper price), and green mussels. They also had the option for blue mussels. I asked for the difference and was informed the green ones are larger and the blue ones are very small. I chose the larger for less work! Our orders came out piping hot and we needed to let them cool down. The butter sauce was amazing. I wanted to also make note of the cleanliness of the bathroom. I was impressed with the upkeep. No weird smells or any tissues on the floor. Service: 5/5 Our server was very personable and although he was super busy he made sure to bring refills when he saw we were running low.

Snow crab, crawfish, potato's, corn, green mussels, and sweet potatoe fries

This place has really good flavoring. It wasn't busy when we went so the service was good and the ambiance was cute like a little sea side shack.

Ask the Community - Mr and Mrs Crab

Looking for a place to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. Do you host parties? Would you have a package for 15 people?

I have seen several big parties there. It's a great place with the best crabs ever. I'm sure they could accommodate you. My recommendation would be to go early. Gets kind of loud later in the evening. I love this place. Great service too.

We got here around 1ish on a Sunday and while there were a lot of people, we got sat within 10 minutes. By the time we left arounf 2:30, it was packed again and people were clearly waiting so we got lucky I guess. We had a great waiter. Just right amount of friendly and playful. Didn't rush us to turn us over to the next table. We got the smoked fish dip, fried oysters, mahi tacos, and crab cake sandwich. All good, solid dishes. Nothing is amazing but it's better than average which is not bad. A lot of seaside restaurants rely heavily on the scenery and don't put a lot of effort on their food so a pleasant surprise to get tasty food. The smoked fish dip was probably my favorite. I liked the chopped jalapenos to add crunch. It was a good flavor overall with a little bit of tanginess. The fried oysters were good too. I'm not a huge fried oysters fan especially if there's too much oyster or the oysters are too briny but this had the right amount of crunch to oyster and they were good oysters. The mahi tacos were good if not a little bland. Could've used more seasoning and probably was the most disappointing of all the dishes. The crab cake sandwich was pretty good. Nice salt to the sweetness of the crab contrast. The fried onions added a nice added crunch and the aioli was a good balance with a hint of sweetness. All in all, the main reason this gets a four star is because of the location and ambiance. The food doesn't ruin it so that's a plus. Be prepared to wait a little, especially if you have a big group.

For that price, the experience was inexcusable. The food: The buffet had almost nothing to offer if you are not drinking or eating raw seafood. The mahi-mahi in banana leaf sat there, dried out, the same eight small pieces for over an hour. Nobody replaced it. I never ate it. The tomahawk steak was the one bright spot, and the gentleman carving it was genuinely personable, but they kept running out and there was always a line. That cut of meat is too difficult to maintain at volume. Someone should have planned better. The shrimp and grits were watery and also sat untouched and unreplenished. The raw bar ran out repeatedly. The small lobster tails disappeared twice. No salads unless you count the one with oysters in it. No variety for anyone who does not drink or eat shellfish. Desserts looked like they came straight out of a Sysco box and were left disheveled on the table. The coconut flan and the small lemon ricotta cookies were the only things that appeared house made. Everything else looked frozen and forgotten. The charcuterie boards looked pretty but the cheeses were dry and the meats were aggressively over salted. The service: Understaffed and inattentive. No one came to the table to take omelet or beverage orders after one order at the start. We told our server we were there for Father's Day. He nearly forgot. Not one happy Father's Day from him or anyone else on the floor. The bottom line: My mother barely ate. I waited over an hour for an entree that was never restocked. We paid $450 for a mediocre, disorganized brunch with a surprise surcharge and staff who clearly could not keep up. There are too many good brunch options out there to waste your money here. This one is off my list permanently. Zero stars for the brunch. I do not recommend it.
