I'm giving it two stars because I do like the drinks here, but otherwise, the place kind of sucks. I've had to wait 15-30 minutes for my drink (very simple milk tea) because they have awful time management, and only seem to work on one drink at a time instead of batching. So, if a drink needs to be steeped, they will wait until every drink in front of it has been finished to even start the 5-10 minute steeping process, instead of starting to steep the leaves while they work on blended drinks. Three employees wander around aimlessly while dozens of people wait for a single, simple drink. Most other boba places are able to get drinks out within a minute or two. What is your excuse? There is truly no reason for a single milk tea to take 30 minutes. Fix your training. EDIT: In response to the owner, I do understand that popularity will slow things down, but that wasn't what I was observing. It was a steady trickle of guests coming in every few minutes, and it seems like the crowd was created from congestion of orders stacking up at a higher rate in than they were going out. Orders were only being handed out every several minutes, and while I have also worked in food service/retail and understand having to take breaks and slow down sometimes, the employees seemed like they were just meandering about without a care in the world. I'm truly not sure why, at the very least, steeping wouldn't be started early. I go to a lot of boba places, and I've had many good friends who work (or worked) at boba places, even if I have not directly worked at one myself. Drinks were ok once you get past the attitude coming from the employees and their ability to get an order right. Judah shouldnt work with the public. Hes rude and has an inability to read a ticket. There are plenty of better places to get boba tea near by. We went to tea pillar for years but unfortunately they closed. This will not be a replacement. Lol read more

I found the employee at the counter to be friendly and very patient with me. This was my first time in a store like this, and I had many questions. Their menu is extensive, and it bordered on overwhelming at first. The store is very comfortable with regular seating, as well as a comfortable "living room" type sitting area with games on it. They also have outside seating. It is a very popular place. After I arrived, 4 other groups of customers came in and appeared to be regulars. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was friendly. The drinks are somewhat reasonably priced and were very good. My son got the Mangonada and I got a Jasmine green tea with the strawberry pops. There were various games to play there, but the majority of them were missing pieces and you couldn't play them at all with what they had. I think UNO was the only one you could really play, the chess set may have all been there, but since I don't play it, not sure. I would have given 5 stars if the games were complete, but it was more of a tease to see them and then not be able to play. However, I would still go back. read more

My daughter is getting into boba, so we've visited some shops recently. No. 1 Boba has become one of our favorites. It's a small, friendly shop with a lot of charm and good service. The mango green tea is my normal order, and No. 1 makes a very good one. The ingredients seem fresh, and everything tastes awesome. If you are new to boba, make sure to ask a few questions and make sure the sweetness is dialed in to your preference (I prefer less sweet). The shop can get a little busy during prime time, as it is near a movie theatre. The staff hustles, because waits are never long. There's nice seating and furniture to hang out or just wait. Some things are tried and true for a reason. After getting a run down of the shop and how their boba is different and made with premium ingredients, I ordered a seasonal tea that was the special. The staff also gave me a sample of the boba they use. It had a vanilla flavor to it that was different and might be nice depending on the drink it is added to. My mom ordered the Thai tea and we both were left wishing for something more similar to the boba we usually get. The sweetness level was significantly less than typical so make sure to adjust up. Love that they have 32oz option as it's never too much for milk tea. $6.50 for a 32oz milk tea is a steal, especially with boba included. Menu offers variety of options from milk tea to smoothie. Milk tea: Decent, but it's different than Gong cha and Sharetea. The ones with stronger tea flavors are royal ceylon milk tea, original milk tea, and matcha. I've tried Japanese sencha, assam milk tea, and green milk tea but they were bland and tasted like they were watered down quite a lot. It's a good spot to fix your milk tea cravings if you're nearby. Boba: The texture is not consistent consistent. The first time I tried it was very soft. Second time, it was also soft, so I started asking for no boba in my drink. Third time, it was accidentally included in my drink while I ordered for no boba, and it was better. Service: Great service from very nice staff. This tea house originated in Las Vegas' Chinatown, and when they opened a location in Cedar Park, I had to try it out. I got the Original Milk Tea just to see how it compares to other bubble tea shops in the area. The boba is okay, not particularly chewy or hard, but it's not as defined as the pearls you can find at ShareTea. The tea itself is also okay. I got my drink with 50% sugar and less ice, but it still tastes somewhat watered down. I do like the interior however. They have ample, comfortable seating, great for groups. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer the patio! It looks like they have a large menu and 3 different drink sizes at S (16 oz), M (24 oz), and L (32 oz). All drinks come with boba already included with the price, though you can opt for double boba for $0.50 more. I am a bit disappointed in that they only fill the teas with 3 layers of boba. IMO, 5 layers should be standard. All in all, it looks like a cool place to come hang out. I'm interested in trying their Avocado Smoothie next time! read more

Decided to visit this place after seeing a movie at the cinemas. It is conveniently close/great location and the interior is a cute space to chill out in. They have free WiFi and a lot of seating. The menu is expansive as well. Now, for the cons. I ordered the Honey Oolong MT. The tea was alright but the boba pearls were definitely not it. The texture is inconsistent, and instead of being soft and chewy, they are unpleasantly hard. A bit ironic given the name. I will also say the employee forgot to ask me for sugar and ice level preferences for my drink. This place is pretty new to CP so I hope they can figure it out after some time. read more

First time here and we got some great recommendations from a young lady who took our order. We ended up going with the Brown Sugar Milk and it's Boba (75% sweet - lowest they offer for this drink). Flavor of the milk and brown sugar was good but it was extremely sweet. Boba texture was decent. Based on the answers I get from the various questions when I tried to choose what to order, there's nothing there fresh (even if you order fruity drinks) here except for maybe the Milk. All drinks are laced with a lot of sugar and artificial flavor and colors. I think your best bet would be to stick with the Original Milk Tea with Boba to be safe. read more

But I was pleasantly surprised they made my jasmine milk tea exactly how I like it - just a tad sweet. I also tried the honeydew slush, and it really tasted like fresh fruit, unlike other places where it just tastes like they add flavored syrup and food coloring. I also love the ambiance.
