I read a few of the reviews of this place and was SHOCKED to see a few bad reviews. I have been coming to this place for many years, They have the freshest, best bagels in Bergen County -or NYC for that matter. The staff are Amazing, they are really focused on the customer. They even played "relaxation videos/music" to help people start their day off right. YOU WILL NOT FIND A FRESHER, BETTER BAGEL ANYWHERE. I don't like breakfast sandwiches, but i see many wonderful ones being made early in the mornings. Anyone posting a bad review of this place needs to have the head examined and their tongue repaired by a professional. read more

I asked for well done bacon and it was translucent.....ordered the French toast and received no syrup. Previous owners paid more attention to details these people....French toast should not be made on a Panini press, it was dry. read more

Bagel Nosh is a must have whenever I'm in town and never disappoints. There are so many menu options which are all delicious! The bread is always fresh and bacon has the right amount of crisp. I used to really enjoy this place because they have good food. But it's not worth the customer service. So on two occasions I came here and they ignored me for a very long time before being able to place an order. The last time I went the store was empty and there was not one but three employees behind the desk. No one else in the store waiting to place an order. The staff would look at me and truly ignore me. The older gentleman sees me waiting and picks up a phone call and takes someone's order via phone. At that moment I realized I will not be coming back. I'd nosh elsewhere. They should be embarrassed that this is what they serve for $6. My taylor ham and cheese was dried out and there was hardly any meat. The one dingy little piece of hardly melted cheese they put on looked sad. In addition, charged me an extra dollar for "special add ons" (after I couldn't cancel the order) because I asked for salt pepper and ketchup on the sandwich. What a crock. The everything bagel also was barely 50% covered with everything season and super stale. On top of all that, it was ice cold (although to be fair this one was probably Uber's fault). You have one job when it comes to a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and that is to ensure the bagels stay warm long enough to get some cream cheese on 'em and wrap em up in foil. I am actually really upset at this place for letting my toasted bagel sit there for what seemed like forever, the older gentleman who took my order left it there. I know they got cold. Then he forgot that it was my order. I get it, it's busy, you can forget orders but the cardinal rule for toasted bagels with cream cheese is to ensure they stay warm & get cream cheese on em and wrap em up in time. They did not do that. I'd give them a 1-star if I could but the pancakes looked & tasted great. My little brother swears that this place do bagels & breakfast food really well, but after this experience, I don't think so. Guys, do better. At least the pancakes I ordered look good. read more

Now that I've come here three times I can definitively say this is a good place for breakfast food. First off I like that you pour your own coffee, and it's actually pretty good not just brown water like many other bagel spots around here. The staff is really nice too which is always a nice part especially when you're there usually in the morning hours. They have a card minimum of $10 which I didn't know the second time I came here so I had to get a bunch of extra stuff but it turned out fine because I got to try their french toast bagels because of it! Never heard of that kind of bagel? Neither did I till I came here, but it tastes amazing. I'm sure some strawberry creamcheese on there would be awesome. Anyway, when I got home that last time I realized I didn't get one of the items I ordered last minute so when I went back the next time I happened to mention it since it was the same guy & he actually remembered and gave me the bagel no questions asked. I normally wouldn't have even said anything but since I chose to this time and they were so nice about it that basically solidified the quality of this place, although their food is plenty good and speaks for itself. read more

While a friend was getting her hair cut a few doors down, I decided to have lunch while waiting. I stepped into Bergenfield Bakin' Bagels and got a toasted whole wheat everything bagel with egg salad [they did not have seafood salad] with a crisp piece of lettuce and a Snapple. The sandwich was made quickly, was delicious and the waitstaff was very pleasant. There are no tables but there is counterspace on one wall. It is reasonable priced. I really like their bagels but the customer service here today was unacceptable. We got there about 40 minutes before closing, which I believe was enough time for us to order without being those annoying people who come in last minute and hold closing up. Anyways as soon as we got in the lady behind the counter asked for our order without even greeting us. We give her our order and she seems rushed, in a bad mood, and overall miserable. She get our order and when it's ready, she slams/throws the bag on the counter. We were shocked. We had planned on getting drinks but she was so rude that we just paid and left. Long story short, I WILL NEVER return here again. It's a shame because they definitely were one of the better bagel shops in town. I come here almost once a week and they're always on point with their breakfast! They have a wide variety of bagels and I usually choose one with bacon, egg and cheese- so good! I noticed one day that they also make french toast, so I ordered one with a side of bacon. The toast was buttered to perfection... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. They have a bar where you can sit and eat but I wouldn't really stay to eat there since those seats are usually taken. This place only takes cash but they have an atm by the door. The staff is pleasant. They smile and they are polite without over doing it. They may ask you a few times what your order was but I think it's because they want to make sure there aren't any mistakes. Either way, I don't mind. You can get bagels and sandwiches from dunkin donuts or other big names franchises, but the beauty of this place is that its made fresh every morning and their bagels (any size or style) has amazing flavor. What i like about this deli is that it is old fashioned. Not in looks, but in how they prepare their food. Whether it is a bagel with butter, an Italian sandwich or their wraps, they aren't cheap on the portions. They will pile butter on you bagel and full your sandwich with so much meat you forgot it had bread. And since everything is fresh, you get the full flavor in every bite, and nothing will feel bland. No need to worry about taste or texture. 1 bagel was under cooked so when I cut through the dough was just all over the blade. The other one?
