Did not expect a place this good to be located here!! Small restaurant and you order from your phone by scanning a QR code at your table. Food came out hot and tasting excellent. The only knock I have is the dixie cup that was given to me for water. I had the spicy noodles, soup dumplings & beef & green onion dumplings. Everything tasted exceptional. Dumpling Village is on my top 5 places to eat.

parking: shared parking lot! its big so dont worry about finding a spot food: we ordered the beef wraps (beef rolls), pork xiao long bao (soup dumplings), and yang chow fried rice to be shared for two people (~$50) the portions are smaller, the beef wraps are smaller than the soup spoon. overall, the food is pretty good and authentic. a solid little hole in the wall shop. service: to order you scan a qr code at your table, and select everything youd like on their digital menu and they bring our your food. the service was friendly & professional. ambiance: comfy & clean. your standard chinese restaurant overall: 3.5/5 food is decent, it's clean, and the service is good :)

Very quiet and casual spot to get your quick XLB fix or other Chinese dishes! The ordering system is pretty straightforward, scan the QR code and order online. After that, they bring the food over to you! We ordered the XLB and meat pies- pretty standard and always good. I recommend trying the other dishes like the orange chicken or walnut shrimp. It seemed pretty popular around us!

I had high hopes for this place after my coworkers had nothing but good things to say when they had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Let's say this time around they didn't feel the same way, and I was a bit disappointed. Let's start by saying the owners were nice and seated us pretty quickly. After looking through the menu, we asked some questions and placed our orders. I would like to note that a there are a decent number of items on the menu, but not everything is available and you can't really have your order modified to your liking. One of the first things that put us off were the cups for water looked freshly rinsed, and one of them had food particles still on it. My coworker asked for another cup, and that one was worse. Not the best impression, but whatever. The food did come out pretty fast. I ordered the fried potstickers (44A). They were plain, a bit greasy, but edible. They didn't look like the picture in the menu (see included picture of what came out). They were served with a dipping bowl of soy sauce. I was expecting way better. My other coworkers ordered the shrimp fried rice and the salt and pepper fish. They said the food was ok this time around, but was so much better the first time they were here. I don't know if I would give this place another try; maybe this visit was a fluke, but I was severely disappointed today.

I order through Grubhub on 12/13/2023 The reason why I'm giving a one star because when I open the food and right when I'm about to eat, I see a metal mesh line thing ( the one supposed to wash dishes and stuff and I'm just confused how it end up on the dumpling?

Wanted order dumplings but instead of getting from our usual's I saw this Dumpling Village with lots of good yelp reviews. Hmm how come we didn't know about it? So we decided to try it out. Glad we did, in my opinion it is better than our usual go-to. Ordered (over ordered as usual) sour vege pork soup, red chili sauce dumplings, pork vege dumplings and 夫妻肺片(cold beef appetizers) That soup comes in 3 large to-go containers... that itself is enough dinner for 2. Great value & delightful. Never imagine this type of authentic dish will be available so close out east/inland empire. Beef appetizers too, very numb just the way it should be. Highly recommend... wll be back for their baked items. Looks great .

Lovely local business. They are only open for take out at the moment, but we still loved everything we ordered, especially their soup dumplings! Juicy and full of soup even for take out. The portions are solid for the price. The wonton soup broth was smartly packaged separate from the broth, and came with a filling portion of wontons. Loved the walnut shrimp as well. The sesame noodles had a sweet and sald cold sauce. We ordered in person at their window where the door would be and the order was ready in under 15 minutes.

This is a photo of the menu and what we ordered.

Well, we were so hungry that I forgot to take pics. Sorry. What I can tell you is that we loved it! We had shrimp fried rice, pork xiao long bao, fried shrimp, pork & cabbage dumplings, potstickers, & salt and pepper ribs. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! They're doing their part to keep everyone safe. So, they block the entry with a table. This is where you will pay and pick up your food. I would definitely recommend & I will be back.

House sweet & sour pork, XLB, shrimp fried rice. We also ordered the hot & sour soup and it was really good.

We enjoyed the food so much that we came back a couple of weeks later. This is a small, no frills casual restaurant, probably family owned. The food is authentic and we really enjoyed the house sweet and sour pork and Xiao Long Bao. The XLB was perfect with just the right amount of soup inside. When you arrive, you have to scan the QR code and place the order with your mobile phone. The food comes out quick and hot! We will continue to support this place of business and look forward to our next visit!

Located in the Terra Vista Plaza on Haven. You can't dine in, only order take out. We've eaten here before, but haven't been back in a long while. We loved their dumplings and other dishes. We ordered: Braised Pork Belly with vegetables $15.99 House cucumber salad $5.99 9 Pork Xiao Long Bao $9.99 10 Beef & green onion dumplings $9.99 Green onion pancake $5.99 8 crispy sesame balls $5.99 Cashier, Ruilian, was very friendly and nice ringing my order up. Took 20 minutes to prepare. My family loved this meal. The pork xiao long Bao and dumplings were tasty and juicy. I loved the green onion pancake and sesame balls. We hope to be back again soon.

Dumpling Village is brand new in 2020 and opened their doors on January 1, 2020 with their grand opening January 8th 2020. My husband and I noticed their sign in mid-December so made a mental note to come in. They're located on the east side of Haven just north of Baseline, by the Ralph's gas station and right next to Waba Grill. My husband and I came in around 11:15AM on January 1st and there were already customers inside. One at a table and a couple people came in for take out orders. We ordered 2 Cokes, Pork Xiao Long Bao ($8.99), Potstickers ($7.99), Green Onion Pancake ($4.50), Sauteed Green Beans ($9.99), Crispy Walnut Shrimp ($15.99) and two bowls of rice. The portions weren't huge, but we definitely over ordered and took some of it home. They forgot our order of Xiao Long Bao, but we told them we'd still take it and they boxed it up for us. The Coke tasted a bit off; probably because their machine is still new. The Walnut Shrimp was superb. The dumplings came out super hot so be careful. The soy sauce also wasn't coming out of the bottle. With tax and tip, for 2 people we paid ~$60 which is definitely pricey. The next time we come in, we'd probably limit it to 2-3 dishes and go from there if we're still hungry. Since they weren't that busy during the time we came, customer service was good and we were helped by 3 different people. We'd definitely return to try more items.

I've also tried chengdu zajiang and the sour pickled mustard with shredded pork, the stir fried potatoes, and the chicken with chili sauce. All dishes were excellent. I was surprised because there was only one couple in the restaurant besides us and they had already received their food. They could have been busy with online orders, but I still felt like it was slow service for being nearly empty inside. They have a self serve sauce bar. It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.

The kitchen cuts off around 8:30 (sometimes earlier), so when they say 9 pm close, they mean they're walking out the door at 9. Luckily I got a regular-customer/birthday dinner exemption. They made it clear this was a one-time special and we could only get dumplings... which worked out perfectly because dumplings were all I wanted. The monster was briefly terrified at the thought of being denied, but the second they said yes -- OH MY G!!! We ordered three rounds of the classic soup dumplings, one order of the black truffle dumplings, and one order of the chocolate dumplings for dessert. This was our first time trying the black truffle dumplings and I felt like I was at a blackjack table. I kept saying "hit me again, hit me again, hit me again" until they were gone. Definitely worth the little extra. Then came the OGs. After demolishing a small country's worth of black truffle dumplings, I moved on to the classics -- perfect like always. I also like that you can see the dumplings being made through the open kitchen. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the plastic water pitcher they brought to the table had some visible mineral residue from what looked like hard water buildup. It wasn't something I wanted to see on a pitcher being used for drinking water, and it's an easy detail to fix. Aside from that, the food was really good and I'd definitely come back. A solid dumpling spot in Rancho Cucamonga!

Sizzling plates used to be THE big thing in the early and mid 2000s with lots of boba places having them as as specialty (RIP Coffee Break and MJ's Tea House), but now aside from a handful of businesses and Pepper Lunch, they're much more rare. Glad that the IE has Sizzlin' Place as one of their sizzling plate heavy hitters. Aside from the sizzling plates, they have other menu items including fried appetizers, soup and dried noodles, and sides like fries and takoyaki, but if you're going to a sizzling plate place, you gotta get a sizzling plate, you know? That's decorum. Service is welcoming and friendly, and efficient in the safest way possible with the scorching hot plates. Seating can get limited due to the nature of the meal, but I've never had an issues the times I chose to eat here. Ambiance can be relaxed and chill when the Haven City Market isn't busy, but during weekends or rush hour, it can get a bit hectic and there may be a bit of a wait. A staple that you can never go wrong with is the hot plate beef and if you're a carnivore or if you're sharing, you have to upsize and upgrade it. The slices of beef here are just slightly thicker than what I'm used to at Pepper Lunch, but that just means it'll shrink less and get less stuck on the hot plate as well. You get a hearty serving of rice with some corn on top, pepper, and green onions. Like other sizzling plate places, you can always get pasta or udon instead of rice, if you're feeling a bit more adventurous. Super hot, filling meal that's easy to eat. Not the most flavorful sometimes, at least with what I order, and in comparison to other competitors, but hits the spot when need be.

It comes with a nice light sweet-and-sour and then a darker duck sauce to pair with fluffy soft boas And the appetizer the mushu was a very delicious that came with like a Wong tortillas to pair with it and it was a very good recommend 10/10 But like I said, give it a try and you decide
