W A R N I N G: MULTIPLE NEGATIVE REVIEWS I agree with the other reviewers who gave them poor reviews. I wish I checked Yelp before I hired them. I tried them because I use the detail shop next door to them and they seem like nice friendly people. They gave me a "good deal" on my stereo purchase and installation - $400. Then I find out that the stereo they sold me was an older model and worth about $100. Best buy gets $65 to install a stereo. I had to go back 4 times because the speakers kept shorting out. Each time it was a new bullshirt story. The last two times they said it was not their fault so they charged me more money. Finally I had enough. I went to Best Buy in Valley Stream. The technician explained that the stereo they put in was under-powered and inappropriate for my OEM speakers. What they did was splice various wires together and took other shortcuts that caused my problems. I would not recommend these people. I will never go back there. read more

This place blows! Spoke to somebody over the phone I can't remember his name but he told me to come in at around 1230-1 o'clock which I did, I show up I speak to a gentleman at the counter who tells me there's only two people there so it had to be the other gentleman and he would get him I waited about 15 minutes in the heat and no one ever approached me or my car,I can only be thankful because after seeing the negative reviews I'm glad they didn't touch my stereo and I'd rather wait to have it looked at by a professional shop who knows what they're doing and treats the customer right,What a complete waste of time and a joke of a business! read more

Spent $300 on a remote starter that they installed incorrectly and wasn't able to ever make it work. Had to have it removed elsewhere. All I got from them was excuses and lies. A total waste of my money and time. Find a professional elsewhere. Or watch a youtube video and do your own installation... you will do a better job! This place is a rip-off!!!!! read more

I had a radio installed for $300 and it only worked for a few weeks. When I went back they said there was something wrong with my fuse box and offered to replace it for an additional $100. I went to best buy and they said the radio was not installed properly and fixed it for only $20. I would not reccomend this business. read more

Called yesterday for a set of tires for my sons car, very nice conversation with Anthony who said the Entire cost would be $440.00, that's for 4 new tires, Balancing and installed on the car. He said the tires were not in stock but he can get them within a matter of minutes, I said ok but would call him back after speaking with my son. I advised my son and we agreed on using Dun Rite, because they are a local business. I again called And spoke to Anthony, he reiterated the the TOTAL cost would be $440.00 "out the door ". My son then took the car there and they replaced the tires and that he owed $540.00! My son called me and put Anthony on the phone and he said he told me the cost would be $130.00 per tire, a total lie, we NEVER discussed a price per tire only a total price "out the door". I was upset and my wife heard the conversation and immediately went to Dun Rite and Anthony told her he made a "mistake " and he meant to tell me the cost would be $540.00. If I was told that I would not have chosen Dun Rite since I have quotes from 3 others which ranged from $410.00 and $440.00. I told Anthony to take the tires off the car and give it back to my son. At that point he reduced the price by $50.00 and my wife agreed to that, I would not have. We were ripped off! This guy is totally dishonest. read more

Just horrible no knowledge of any product this still working in the 18th century not a clue about anything if they install anything they have no idea how to operate it to explain it to you and best of all they wing the install with no wire diagrams or anything the absolute worst read more

I've been coming to Anthony for years for all of my custom electrical work on my Prelude, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Today they fixed a problem in two hours with my electric that three other mechanics could not figure out. These guys are real good, A-1 all around. 5 stars. Dun-rite is legit. read more

I bought a used tire here and they were asking $80. I thought that was expensive for a used tire so I drove around and most shops were closed on Sundays. I went back to Dun Rite and they put a different tire on cause they couldn't find the original they showed me 30 minutes earlier. So they charged me $60 cash. The NEXT day and every day for four days I was low pressure and I kept putting air in. I could only go back on Sundays because I get home too late from work as they are closed. The fifth day the tire was FLAT and I had it changed to the doughnut with my daughter on Friday. I went back this Sunday seven days later and the guy who originally changed the tire remembered me. There was the tiniest pin nail on the side and was so rusty the guy said "This has been here awhile". Now I only live FOUR blocks away and didn't drive the car cause I was scared of a flat. BENJAMIN the managed NOW found the original Goodyear from last week and it was put on the car. BENJAMIN now charged me $75. Benjamin wouldn't work with me on giving me a tire let alone on the price. I am in the service business also and I always give in and help the customer. Benjamin wouldn't budge on the price because he knew he was the only one that could help me. Keep in mind I have been going there for ten years along with all family members and have spent over $5K between us. In fact my daughter and son just had their windows tinted this Xmas. DON'T USE THIS PLACE. BENJAMIN IS ALL ABOUT MONEY IN HIS POCKET AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS. I WOULDN'T SEND MY ENEMIES HERE. I JUST HATE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. Mitchell read more
