I would like up complement Matt for great customer Service as well as great custom work Who would think that a car stereo place could do a professional job of installing a CB radio and scanner including the antennas Wow!! I was impressed bring a Ham radio licensed person could not believe how they hid all of the cables so that only the two antennas were visible and the radio under the dash where I wanted it to be. Matt understood the need for grounding a two way radio and the need for SWR check before transmitting They should advertise more on the Ham and CB radio mags and they will triple their business I'm still in awe on how they secured everything and did exactly as I wanted to place the radio and antennas Only down side was they have no public restrooms which I think should be needed because of the waits . Went to Parkway looking to get new radio installed in my sons car. Nice showroom and very helpful staff. I told them what I was looking for and was shown my options and what cost would be. I chose a touchscreen radio with Apple car play. They let me know I could get backup camera installed and have my steering wheel controls also connected for the new radio and I decided to go with that as well. Car was in shop for most of that day and picked up that evening. Everything looked and worked great! A couple of days later I had trouble starting the car and there was no problem previously before getting radio installed so I assumed it had something to do with the wiring. Brought car back to Parkway and was assured by Matt that if it was anything done on their end it would be fixed. Matt had car in shop after work hours that day and even into the next day. I went back there to see how the progress was going and was told by Matt that he had took everything out that was installed and that the car was still having some electrical issues and that it was not anything that they had done. I told him I would take to my mechanic to check out and he again assured me that if my mechanic found anything that was done wrong Parkway would take on the expense. Turned out that the battery was bad and was replaced by my mechanic. Everything is working great and my son couldn't be happier with his new radio and back up camera. Brought my car in for diagnostics and repair. They called to tell me the XM antenna/fin was bad, that the part was $375, plus $75 to paint to match my car, and another $300 to install, for a total of $750. When I pointed out that it took me five minutes to look up the part, and the fin comes painted at a cost of $50 through Honda, they claimed that they got their price for the part directly from Honda, that if I wanted to buy the part myself, they would install it for $300. Then they stated that I needed the antenna wire also. When I asked them if they actually tested the antenna wire, they said they didn't, that they always change the wire, and it is what Honda recommends. So I called Honda and they confirmed the XM antenna fin already comes painted in the color to match my car for $50, and said they never replace the antenna wire as it rarely goes bad, and they don't recommend it unless it's proven to be defective. I then called a local auto body shop who said that they install the fin for $200-$250, because they have to drop the headliner. So Parkway wanted to charge me $750 for something that should have cost $250-$300. Needless to say, I'd rather eat the $95 diagnostic cost than to deal with a company as dishonest as Parkway Car Stereo. Parkway Car Stereo in East Meadow have proven themselves to be ripoff artists, and my advice...GO ELSEWHERE! read more

Haven't used a car stereo store in years. About 30 yrs since I had 4 15's in my trunk and 4 6by9's!!Met with Matt. I was looking for a touchscreen for my Ram 1500. Matt gave me several options and was asking what I needed the touchscreen for and what apps do I use. He walked me through 3 or 4 options. And recommended which get touchscreen I should get. No overselling. No pressure. Extremely knowledgeable. Matt stayed late, after the shop closed to finish my truck. I set up an appointment at 3:45 p.m. I dropped off my car on time with instructions to do a hardwire satellite radio install with no wires visible. I had already installed the radio and antenna. Upon arrival I was told the install would take an hour or so, I went to the stores nearby. I returned an hour later, install not done. Matt, the manager, asked me again what I wanted done. I said that I would like the sat. radio installed, hardwired, with no wires present. Shortly thereafter my car came out with a patch wire still attached to the radio dashboard 'aux' port. I told Matt I wanted the unit hardwired, no wires present or visible, he said that I was not clear and proceeded to do the proper install. I had a prepaid satellite radio install card, ($80.00)., however, Matt charged me an additional $70.00 for a Sirius FM Modulator and patch cable. Sorry Parkway I'm not impressed. read more

Had my windows tinted here on my new car. They were great--very professional and reasonably priced. I dropped my car off for the day, and when I came by at 5 to pick it up, it was ready. The tint was exactly what I wanted. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I found out the day of that I'd have to pay extra $ since Subaru put in additional windows in the 2016 cars which in turn costs more $ for tints, and when I picked up my car I had to wait around a bit for someone to come to the counter. I recently purchased a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. I had to pick the car up in Baltimore, and drive it back to Long Island. On the trip back the am, fm receiver stopped working and got nothing but static. I called Southern Electronics and got a repair quote of $250. I would have to remove the unit and ship it to Richmond, VA for repairs...turn around about 2 weeks. I promptly called Cory at Parkway. He told me to bring the car right down, after explaining to me that it could be either the antenna or that the receiver had gone bad. Upon arriving, Cory grabbed an antenna and we proceeded to check the radio. It turned out the receiver was bad. Cory explained what options I had for replacing the unit, he is very knowledgeable, and hooked me up with a Pioneer unit that fit my needs. And there I sat but fair enough. When the guy (didn't get his name) got on I told him what I wanted to have done he came back with a price of $185. PC Richards quoted me $45. I told him the whole stereo didn't cost me that and, very snarkily, told me "well I'm real sorry to hear that but my guys want to be paid". Too bad, not from me pal. read more

Went to Parkway and specifically mentioned I wanted a Viper system, even pointed to a Viper model they had on the wall as I was discussing things. The guy said, "Sure, no problem".
