I ordered the flaky white Reuben side of the creole rice and then we ordered 10 wings and clam chowder. All the food was very good pre-rice was it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best but the wings were amazing. The clam chowder is out of this world and my sandwich is really good too service. Here is good. Our waiter was very nice and we sat outside so the ambience is nice. they have fans blowing. It's cool. It was nice. Just watch out for the flies. If you sit outside all in all the place was really good. We were really happy.

I've passed this place 1000 times. What a mistake! What a cute restaurant with an island vibe. The service is fantastic. The food is terrific too. We had the fish sandwich and it was gigantic and delicious. The fries were smoking hot and fabulous, and I'm not a waffle fry fan. The patio is adorable. The indoor dining room is cute and the a/c cranks out cold air. There's a full bar with a limited wine list. We won't pass it a another 1000 times ever again.

Always excellent service the guys are always on it. Food always good satisfied my hot dog craving! Only negative for me it's a big kid place. People don't watch their little brats so they come next to our table and stare at us.. if I wanted dinner with little kids I would have brought my own.. kidding I don't have any! My hubby told me good thing I don't have any I wouldn't be a good mother. No shit!

Great atmosphere! The kids loved being out in the rain while we relaxed after our lunch. Covered out door area with tables. Corn hole for when it's dry. Food was excellent and the beer was cold and fresh

Was drawn to this cute little restaurant by its look. Tucked under palm trees with a really cool patio in the back and beach patio on the side. They played a great beach type selection of music. Unfortunately, because they were serving a private party, we weren't able to get seated in the back patio. Instead we chose the side patio which is cute but noisy from the U.S. 1 traffic. We started our dinner by sharing a bowl of the lobster bisque. Couldn't find any lobster but the soup was thick and tasty. We then moved on to the fried shrimp and the fried clam dinners. The shrimp was the winner here but neither dish was special. Not bad but simply not special. The waffle fries side was a different twist. We also tried Cajun rice and black beans. All were ok but nothing special. Service was excellent with just the right attention. If you're interested in a cool setting and great music and are ok with simply ok food you'll enjoy this place.

What a cool, casual spot to have a great lunch. The restaurant reminded me of being in the Keys. The decorations and atmosphere made it possible. I enjoyed my lunch here. The staff was friendly and the food service super fast. I was happy. I got the clam chowder and loved it. It tasted great and it was nice and crunchy. I then ordered the Crunchy Fish Platter. This was a big meal. The fish filets were a good size. It came with two sides. The onion rings were really good, everything was very good. The restaurant is cute inside. It has weekly specials and it is kid friendly. It is divided into three sections. One in the back, one inside air-conditioned with a bar, and one area open in the front. The front area has a kid's mini golf area. The atmosphere is great here. The restaurant had a big parking lot. The place was easy to find. I had a good meal and I liked the place.

I've been here a couple of times and the food is pretty consistent. Not sure it's the highest quality of seafood but it's pretty tasty! I love how they always have specials, that's the menu I usually order off of. The portions are pretty large, especially the kids fish fingers! My kids loved playing on the little green, it kept them entertained for quite a bit. Overall great spot!

We had lunch here. We sat inside as it was so hot the day we came here, and they were busy with every seat taken at every table. When we left, we noticed that the outside tiki area in the back was also filled with patrons. There is a large convenient parking lot right outside the free-standing building. The signs on the side of the restaurant and out front are hard to miss. As hot dogs are their specialty that is what we ordered. They were promoting their fried fish, however, which turned out to be Swai (Vietnamese catfish) which the server inaccurately described as "like grouper"(!). My husband had their Chicago dog topped with all sorts of stuff along with a side of waffle fries. it was okay. The fries were good. I had their chili dog. We both got the larger/longer hot dog. The menu says they are all beef. I asked for my hot dog to be well done and it was split on the grill -- which was exactly like I prefer it done. The hot dogs were fine. Service was acceptable although the gal stopped to have a long discussion (about her tattoos) with another table that seemed to take forever. What we liked most about the place was that they were casual, and the hot dogs were reasonably priced.

In Stuart for a pre-holiday weekend and had to stop for a hot dog. We were among the first diners before lunch crowd started to arrive, so we had made our selections and enjoyed our soft drink beverages while we waited. The fun decor adorns the walls and the casual ambiance is relaxing. Our orders arrived, my Chicago Long dog looked and tasted great! The accompanying waffle fries were a hit as well. My wife had a Long Chili dog which she also enjoyed. If you are hankering for a good hot dog, this is the place and perhaps enjoy a beer with your meal!

Hello everyone, yesterday I had the Maine Lobster with fries and corn on the cob. The lobster was so delicious and tasty. Our server was very nice and attentive. I highly recommend checking out Dune Dog. The waffle fries are so good too.

Stopped in for an impromptu lunch with my wife and daughter and we realized we should have brought our son too because he would have enjoyed the putt putt. We sat outside on a rainy day and ended up having to go to the other side because the tiki side leaked really bad but I'm glad we stayed because we had great service and great food. The food came out quickly and everything was fantastic. We ordered a kids meal for my 18 month old and she devoured the fries (but decided on my Mahi). We'll definitely be brining our son next time! Great family friendly place with reasonable prices. The menu has some seasonal items which I've got my eye on!

First time to the Stuart location. Bellied up to the bar overlooking Fraziers Creek. The lush landscaping and tiki roof walled away the outside world and is an alcove of privacy. I ordered a cold draft beer and a Chicago hot dog. Their take on this classic is nothing close to an original; a foot long beef dog ($6.39) was cradled by a slice of buttered toast and topped with a couple dill pickle slices, celery salt and diced tomatoes and onions. While it was ok as some sort of a hot dog, I was disappointed it lacked the key ingredients for a Chicago dog. My wife's fried clam dinner ($16.90) satisfied a craving but was nothing over the top. Comes with a choice of two sides. The black beans, though, were rich and delicious. The cole slaw was good. Wait staff were friendly and responsive. As I recall from past visits, the chili dog was the better order.

Had lunch here yesterday with my husband and a few friends. Very chill spot, lots of families. Fast and efficient service despite it being busy. I had the taco salad. Which is chili that comes in a tortilla atop a bed of lettuce with a side of sour cream and pico de gallo. My chili was cold and there was barely any meat or beans in it. It was still tasty enough and I was too hungry to send it back so I made do. My husband had the fish and chips which came out hot and fresh. The portion was very large and he was really happy with the flavor. Despite there being no parking (there was some kind of event next door) and having to walk the three blocks away it was still a good experience. read more

Went here for dinner with another couple. I ordered the southwest dog with fries and potato salad. My wife got the Leroy Browns junkyard dog with fries and onion rings. The hotdog was alright but the chili really didn't have much flavor to it. The cheese on top was what you tasted the most. The fries and potato salad were good though. The service however was horrible. We had a male server and he was not pleasant at all. He could of been having a bad night but he didn't have to treat us so poorly. He appeared annoyed and agitated when he first came to our table. He didn't introduce himself or even tell us anything about the restaurant. We informed him it was our first time and he didn't say anything to us. He just started at us. We order our drinks and then food and he didn't say anything to us as we ordered and just kept a puss face on. He never checked up on us again until the end of our meal when he took our food away when we were done. All in all, this place isn't much to write home about. I probably won't go back. read more

Every time we come here we enjoy our experience. We love the precautions taken during the pandemic. The food is always piping hot and fresh. The servers have been very attentive and will give recommendations. This particular visit we enjoyed sitting outside at a picnic table near the mini golf area. This restaurant is a childhood favorite for me! When they opened up this location I was so happy! It takes me back memory lane, the food is just as good as I remember. I definitely recommend stopping here for lunch! You won't be disappointed! read more

I was looking for a cheap place to eat and this restaurant fit the bill. The fried fish sandwich was the largest I've ever seen at any price. It tasted a bit odd though. I'm not sure what fish they use, but it was definitely not one of the standards. I don't know that I would order it again. Service was good. Not overwhelming, nor did they ignore me. It was the perfect place to chill out after a morning of fishing. Outdoor seating was great. read more

I'm not sure what restaurant these others visited but this place was horrible. Wide and I ordered fried shrimp and fish and chips. I chose dirty rice as my side. I also ordered a cup of chili. Fast forward 15 minutes, I received corn on the cob instead of rice....and the chili never showed up and the coleslaw was inedible. The shrimp and fish were clearly frozen, over cooked and had absolutely no taste. The only silver lining was that it was "Two for Tuesday," so we only had to pay for one of the meals. We've driven by this place for about a year, read these reviews and figured we would see what we were missing. Should've kept on driving. read more

Oh LAWDDDD. Ya'll don't get my started on this place! Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the food but imagine the crunchiest breading with the perfect spices and the juiciest, fall apart fish fillet on a sandwich. The wings are perfectly crispy and the crab cakes were amazing and affordable. Layla enjoyed a basic hot dog as well. read more

I am seven years old and go here a lot with my family. The service is amazing and the waitresses are nice. I order the steamed clams, and the basket of french fries and onion rings. The food is delicious. If there were 10 stars, I would give this restaurant 10 stars. read more

Not what I expected as it was more of a restaurant than a hot dog stand as I had assumed. Good food. I had the crab cake sandwich and would definitely get it again. I went for my first time for lunch on a Saturday and I was quite impressed. We were seated quickly and saw that the restaurant was busy almost all tables full. I ordered the blackened dolphin and my partner ordered the fish and chips. Both delicious and big portions. The service was fast, attentive and friendly. It seemed the staff was used to fast paced food service with a smile. When we left, there was a big wait and I can see why. This place is a gem. Good prices for the amount of food for sure compared to other local haunts. I highly recommend and I will be going back to try more of the menu. read more

So my husband is from Chicago and even though my fav hot dog is with sauerkraut and mustard I decided to order a Chicago dog. Not at all authentic. Missing the sport peppers and relish. And the bun was not the poppy seed. Please don't call it a Chicago dog if you are only putting onions, diced tomatoes, and pickles on it. It was tasty even though not made right. Onion rings were great and who can go wrong with Corona's in the bottle! read more

While this restaurant is ok, it is just that. I had a chili cheese dog (it had some cute name but it was what it was) and a Chicago dog. The chili was rather flavorless and the hot dog themselves were basic ones you could buy at the grocery store. Honestly all around the dogs were like those you could make yourself, not worth their price. If you want a good dog just cross over the bridge hang a right at the light and go to Frank 'N' Stein-- cheaper prices and far better quality. read more

Went here for happy hour to try the wings. Not a bad deal for 65 cents a wing. We also tried the onion rings and they were really good. Nice outside seating and our server was friendly. Can't comment on any other food, but the wings a worth a try. read more

Owner reached out and explained why no dogs - some jerk complained to the health department. The one star wasn't about the food or service which has been great. It was about the abrupt treatment when we last came in and how no explanation was provided. It was a family outing we had planned and had to change plans at the very last minute. Your business has and uses social media - use it to update your customers with important information like this so we can plan accordingly. We truly hope that you apply for animal permit so we can return to your establishment. I thank you for letting us know. Been here several times with my lab and was welcomed with open arms. Today came back and was told "Service dogs only - new rule". What in the hell is going on with this place? Dune DOG Cafe and NO Dogs?? read more

My first time eating in a restaurant since this COVID started. The was plenty of room between table and all were wearing masks we had hot dogs of course. I had the standard hot dog with sauerkraut which was great. Then had there Chili Dog which was good. I would have preferred raw onions on it and more ground beef in the Chile sauce. Overall it had a good flavor. In addition we had a basket of onion rings which were very good. Service was excellent and I would recommend this place read more

Well. .. with a name like Dune Dogs, you might expect a really good hot dog. .. don't! I will give them the bun, it was good... but the rest was a bust. So I (like a fool) had to give them a second chance, maybe the burger was special... nope! Save your money or go to Flanigans across the street. I would have given then 1 star. .. but the place was clean. read more

First timers tonight. I had the taco salad and the guys all had burgers and fries. The salad was yummy. It comes in a cute and yummy shell. The guys liked their burger & fries they did complain that the burgers were on the small size but thats it. They have waffle fries, those rock! When my husband went o pick it up he said there was a live band. We will definitely be going in next time! read more

The decor is fun and bright. The server at the bar was amazing. So polite and prompt even when some in my party were not too forgiving about the back up in the kitchen. Understanding the place is new but the wait time for our meal was too long. Approximately 45 minutes... We had the waffle fry nachos and they were good. I ordered the fish Reuben and it was not that good. The fish was mushy...my husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. The beer choices are decent. All in all not much bringing me back to this spot other than the friendly staff. P.S a Chicago dog has sport peppers NOT pickles . read more

We love the place, have been here numerous times! It is a fun, chill and laid back place. Great for kids to hangout! Today just seemed disoriented. I can't tell you who are waitress was since she never introduced herself and we had 4 different people asking us for drinks and food orders. Not necessarily a bad thing since they were very attentive but once we placed a food order with one server another server came and asked us if we were ready to order, so no communication there. Beers never came when we reordered them. We were given paper plates to eat on which was weird. The food was great as always and came out VERY fast. As for cleanliness, when we sat at our table there was pieces of crab shell and trash still on the table after the server wiped it down and the bathrooms smelled like poorly maintained truck stops. When the check came they had over charged us on more drinks then we actually ordered. We love the place so it won't keep us from going back but just seemed the place was struggling tonight. read more

A cute, fun place if you want a quick bite to eat. We liked the hot dogs, corn dogs and the waffle fries. Get there early to get a seat.... even though they have a private parking lot, parking can quickly become an issue during lunch hours. Bring your camera, you will take pictures here because it is so much fun. read more

It's off season for Florida. I like that it's away from traffic and close to the river, but not on the river. We ordered several appetizers, Tuna stack, it was good with toast on the side. I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus. They also have music for dinner. Parking is street. The Tram goes around and it will leave you at this restaurant from the large parking lot. Please note there's a green market on Sunday's so the parking lot is usually full.

Arf Arf! Absolutely loved the Dune Dog Cafe in Stuart. I was looking for a place to treat my lady friend to a nice fish sandwich, and we found it. The original crunchy fish sandwich was delicious. That paired with a couple of ice cold beers and the beachy Key West decor led to a most delightful dining experience. Hot diggity dog! I have been driving down from Stuart to Dune Dog in Jupiter for years to enjoy a little taste of Old Jupiter. Imagine my surprise and excitement when Dune Dog opened up in my own backyard. They have the friendliest staff and so much more than great hot dogs(definitely try the waffle fries and dolphins Reuben).
