Had dinner here this evening. Wish I had come here sooner because the meal was absolutely delicious. Had broiled yellowtail snapper stuffed with crab meat. Not sure which was better the fish or the crab meat. The service was exactly on point. This is a very small place with only a few tables so the atmosphere is very intimate and friendly. What a little hidden gem! We moved up from Deerfield a few years ago and there's a wonderful place there that is exactly the, unassumingly delicious seafood nestled in a small little restaurant. The staff were all working together to make sure everything is seamless. They have a kids menu but it's not printed so you have to ask. Everyone definitely left with happy bellies. Came for lunch on a Wednesday a bit early and was lucky to get in. The restaurant opens at 11.30 am and there was a wait even before opening. By the time we left it was packed. Service is a bit slow but the waitress manages here tables well. The restaurant is small but perfect for what it is. I ordered the grouper sandwich with onion rings and it was very good. Fish to bread ratio was good, and also very fresh. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

This is by far the best seafood I've had in the last 5 years. The menu is diverse and location is quaint and charming. Not too many tables so you get incredible service from Kaitlynn and Dan. I am a huge fan of Conch Chowder, and this is better than anything I've even had in the Bahamas or Caribbean. The prices are more than reasonable and I'm planning on eating here now at least once a week. Don't even think about it, just get over there!!! read more

Had a wonderful lunch here. Less expensive than the waterfront restaurants but no less quality. I had fried oysters and they were plump and sweet and perfectly cooked. My wife had a platter with shrimp, fish and scallops and she cleaned her plate. I would definitely eat here again. I should also mention that the service was friendly and top notch. read more

Food is excellent. There is one cook in the back in which you can actually see unlike other restaurants which you can't see who is cooking your food or seeing what is being done to it. Small restaurant..maybe 10 tables but we didn't have to wait to be seated. Waiters are excellent. I'll say it again- food is excellent.. prices are comparable and reasonable. Came here for a take out & it took some time that's ok now I know call first. I love this place my new place for my favorite fish sandwich. I had the grouper . It came with fries & slaw. Seafood bisque is the bomb! You must try it if you visit. My wife enjoyed her fried shrimp plate and I loved my fried grouper plate. Server was fast and friendly. This restaurant visit was perhaps the biggest surprise of our trip thus far. While enjoying the pool at our rental condo, we heard someone talking about King Neptune. I went right to Yelp and found a lot of reviews with great ratings. That is where we had our next meal. The restaurant itself is very unassuming-in fact we would have probably never stopped there if we hadn't heard the recommendation. Restaurant is quite small with just a few tables, high tops and counter seating. We arrived shortly after opening and was happy to get a table as within about five minutes, there was a wait. Lunch menu includes soups, salads and a wide variety of seafood dishes. I had blacken mahi and my wife ordered the fried grouper. Dishes came with coleslaw (which my wife declared was outstanding) and fries. I upgraded to Tabasco onion rings. Nice and spicy! What a perfect lunch we both had! We both thought the fish was as good as any we've had so far. Our luck with great service continued here as well. It is too late in our trip for another visit. Love this quaint spot in the pocket of Pt Salerno. Friendly staff and attentive service. The menu offers a wide variety of fresh seafood . We had the Seafood Lobster Bisque which was loaded with crab and shrimp. Super creamy and flavorful! Next we ordered a dozen steamed clams that were on special that day. Good sized clams served in a delicious broth with drawn butter. Entrees we shared the Caesar with blackened scallops and a fried seafood platter which included coconut shrimp, oysters and dolphin. For appetizers, we love their cracked conch- it's tenderized properly and perfectly breaded and fried! They're open for both lunch and dinner and have daily specials for dinner and you can follow them on their social media to see the daily offerings. I really enjoy their pistachio crusted mahi, which is served with two sides. I usually get the plantains and their black beans. Black beans here are just a little extra special- is it all spice?! The peppers?! I cannot put my finger on it but the flavor is quite yummy! They also make Tabasco onion strings... spicy and addictive! Everything about my visit was wonderful! Eric and Shannon were so welcoming from the moment I walked in, which made my first experience here even more special. The food was absolutely amazing so flavorful and clearly made with care. I loved it so much that I had to come back with my husband, and now we're both hooked! I was so looking forward, based on the reviews and was anticipating writing a positive review. I forgot to take pictures. I ordered the broiled platter with a side salad and fries. The side salad was the best part of the meal. Fresh, crispy vegetables and balsamic dressing was great. The Mahi had no flavor and was very dry. The shrimp was good. Scallops were ok. Fries were hard and dry. We did order the Key Lime Pie to share. It was average. They did say it was not made in house. The crust was good but the filling was kind of grainy, not smooth. Presentation was nice. The saving grace was the wait staff. They were friendly and prompt. Wait time was reasonable. It is a smaller seating area but they turn tables over at a reasonable time frame so people move through quickly. read more

When you start to feel like South Florida has become too crowded, especially during the weekend of the West Palm Beach boat show, then just head north. Hidden in the sweet Manatee pocket of Port Salerno, is this fabulous family run restaurant. Do yourself a favor and stop in! We started with the Buffalo shrimp, which I sadly forgot to take a photo of because they were fantastic and gobbled down in two seconds. Then moved to the seafood bisque, which was loaded with clams, shrimp, and flavor, and then finished with the Pistachio crusted mahi (cooked perfectly and well flavored) and the homemade Keylime pie. Immediately greeted upon our arrival, and told of a short wait, our smiling waitress took our drink order and allowed us to relax outside until the table was ready. Service with a smile these days is hard to find and I'll tell you she was a treat! (I do not know what these other reviewers are talking about but we had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
