I was informed by a rude customer service representative who told me they had a busy schedule and couldn't respond for 2 weeks. I was deeply concerned of the mold spreading which would cost more in repairs and simply couldn't wait for 2 weeks. I searched the internet and located 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Northwest Indiana and called their emergency response number at (800) 928-3732. I was greeted by the owner Jim who was courteous and informative about the services he was able to provide. Him and his employee Tony responded to my house within 2 hours. They quickly found the black mold and provided me with an estimate that was thousands of dollars less than what I expected to pay out of pocket for this type of service. Jim and Tony brought piece of mind and reassured me that my problem would be fixed and there was nothing to be worried about. Jim even gave me his personal cell phone number in case there was any further questions I had or assistance that was needed. Jim and Tony started the remediation process shortly after arriving and completed the service call within approximately 8 hours! They were clean, professional, on time and even educated me on the problem. Jim and Tony also kept me informed on how the remediation process. They then provided recommendations to prevent the mold from coming back. In the end, I felt like Jim and Tony made me feel like family and not just a customer. But the guy was out the next day and fixed it. It was raining and muddy but he did the job anyway. He cleaned up the the area when done. All in all I'm very impressed.
