Literally the worst experience ever! This company put in multiple pumps for my in-laws and none of them ever worked properly. I live too far away to help and relied on them to assist and make things right but instead they took advantage. Finally on the 4th pump and $4k later, we called another company to come help. They came and fixed it right the first time, unlike this company, and then told me the pump that we were charged $500 for is an $80 part!!! Between the extra price gouging they charged for the part as well as their insane labor fees, this company deserves to be sued. Wouldn't mind a class action law suit for money I consider stolen as they abused their position on customers that trusted their expertise to fix something they never did! read more

The Valley Fire burnt up our well, including the electrical power source for the well, burnt up all the plumbing around the well, and the fire got the pressure tank too. Dunken Pump came out and dug a new line for the electrical and a new water line to the house. At this point we had been without water for four days and were really hoping to get the system going. The installation crew was friendly and all business. They ended up staying until about 8:30 pm to finish the job so we could have water. Amazing service! I highly recommend Dunken Pump! read more

I needed an irrigation pump rebuilt. The employee (RH) that came to the job site, had a positive attitude and was knowledgeable about the pump I needed to be rebuilt. He unhooked the unit and took it back to the shop for repair. A couple days later, he brought it back painted. It works great and Is really quiet. Well done RH! The secretary on the phone sounded like she didn't want to be there. I'm glad I decided to use them anyway. read more

Jim is amazing!!!! He goes above and beyond in my opinion. I hope the owner is as happy to have him back as I am. He is super knowledgeable and patient. He knows my well through and through. He had everything we needed to get the job done and didn't leave us hanging until the job was complete. Most service personnel would not do that. This company installed new components and completely redid our system about 18 months ago. Now in the middle of the summer, my flow is terrible. I made a call to ask for help, Jim spent 20 minutes on the phone with me and completely solved my problem! Professional courteous and cogent, I am greatly relieved and grateful that I chose Duncan pumps for the original install. We were told by Dunken Pumps that our water had been tested and was great, but we had it tested independently ourselves and it turns out there was 5 times the acceptable level of lead in our "treated" drinking water. We have a five year old child in the house, who now has an appointment to have her blood drawn for lead poisoning! Rayne Water told us they have spent years cleaning up after Dunken's messes, and even participated in a (successful) lawsuit against them. They said there's been a generational change at Dunken's, and the son simply isn't doing the good job his father used to do. We've had Dunken Pumps for nearly 40 years and feel absolutely betrayed by the thousands upon thousands of dollars we've paid them to poison us. read more

Great shop for water tanks that is unless they don't have the one in stock you need. You get a smaller one that is $300 more which ends up being fine because it was a better brand! Bigger main issue is there a 5-6 kids around ages 2-8 running around the place like the place is a playground. Not only are they screaming but they run around the yard where the large water tanks and forklifts are! This is not a place for kids one thing if there inside but running in front of forklifts and not listening? After tank is loaded up still kids running around when I'm trying to back up a 12 ft trailer. I mentioned that the kids shouldn't be playing here they said oh don't worry just run them over there's more where that came from! Decent shop to purchase a water tank if you don't run over a kid on the way out! Law suit waiting to happen! read more

I was very Impressed with the prompt and professional service I received, when I had a water leak at the well!

I thought my pump had gone out so I pulled it and took it in to see if it was bad. The guy behind the counter said it was bad and that I needed a new one so I ordered it with them $1400. When I installed it it was still not working. Ended up being a loose wire but thanks to dunken pump for mis diagnosing my pump I was out $1400. I say use them at your own risk but this is one of those places you go to because they are professionals and are suppose to know what they are doing. Don't trust them and if you can get a second opinion I'm very disappointed with them I will never use them again.? read more

Attention Dunken Pump customers! Have your water outside tested and have another pump company check on the equipment! My family: Jim and Janee Plachek and myself have used Dunken Pumps for 40 years. I had it tested both from the well and after their "treatment". We have dangerous levels of lead, iron and acid in our "treated" water! This is because the neutralizer was not functioning and the high acid was leaching heavy metals from the pipes! The whole household has to be lead tested including my 5yo grand daughter. These jerks wouldn't even call me back! I fired them and hired Randy at Rayne of the Wine Country to clean up their mess which he did an awesome job! The equipment was installed wrong and the water was being "treated" in the wrong order. They are grossly incompetent and negligent! Run ! read more

These "professionals" charged $8,000 for new two new pumps, new pumpteck, all new pipes, all new electrical system and anything else new they could think of, for a dry well. They even put in new breakers. The new "protection" they put in to protect the new pump they just had to put in was not adjusted properly and the new pump kept on going even though there was no water in the well because they had not adjusted it correctly. I even had to call them back because when they were finished and left their bill for the man who called them without my permission because when they left there was still no water, even the tank of water I had bought wouldn't pump because the pumps were not working when they left. Called dunken pumps from Bay Area, I told them I need new pump by weekend for my well. Shawna said they would send someone out to check what's up. Brandon called in the afternoon stating that all I needed was a new pressure regulator that my pump was fine and that he also fixed a few leaks in my pipes. They sold me 2 water tanks. The first one exploded the first time I filled it. They told me it was my fault and they would replace it for 1/2 price. The second tank lasted 2 years and then exploded. When I told them about it they said they didn't sell that brand any more and they would get back to me with a solution. The next day my friend went in to buy a tank and they tried to sell him the identical tank. After 5 unreturned phone calls and stopping in twice i realized they weren't going to do anything for me and were just blowing me off so I stopped calling cause I would rather give someone else my money for a better product. read more

I have been in Dunkin Pumps on three occasions to purchase parts for my pool pump. They hate anything to do with pools and are very difficult to deal with when it comes to pump supplies. This business is very unfriendly to its customers. Today, I tried to have them order a pump part. I brought the part in and although the person at the front desk said they could find the part, the manager refused to let her order it for me since it was for a pool. A pump is a pump and a sale is a sale. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Very poor customer service. read more

Dunken Pumps. If I could give a negative star I would. This company is so unprofessional that it's hard to believe they are still in business. If you live in the area go to Anyone else. Dunken Pump is over priced (almost twice what other companies charge) slow, undependable, unprofessional and discourteous to their customers. I ordered a well test and it took weeks to finalize. The only part in the test that was not their fault was the company they had test the water, which took ten days, however I had to call and ask them if the test came in and it had but they didn't notify me. This was for a VA loan and there was no indication on the invoice or the test that the water was drawn from my well and it took a week before I could get a copy of the correct info to my loan company. I nearly lost my loan! The receptionist is rude and dismissive as is the owner. Customer service is way down on their list of priorities, however they were more than happy to take my money! read more
