It was a drippy rainy day so the outdoor seating on the deck was not too attractive. There are tables inside along two walls. You order at the counter, pick up beverages, and if you are dining in, they give you a number and they bring food to your table. The shop was clean, noise level was moderate, and there are a few tables if you get there early or get lucky, but most people seemed to be ordering to go. Lighting was good, and I didn't really notice any music. Price-wise, everything felt more than fair for the quality. They told us everything is cooked fresh daily and they basically go until they sell out--which makes sense given how much business they were doing. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and a great mix of sweet and savory. For my taste, Tous les Jours edges out Paris Baguette. Both bakeries are clean and bright and spacious. I find the offerings at Tous les Jours to be in better shape -- generally less dried out. We got: a mango and cream filled croissant, an egg custard, a croquette, a spinach/feta danish, and a hotdog in pastry. They all tasted pretty good. The croquette has a bouncy dough and a crunchy outside as well as enough stuffings on the inside. TLJ sufficiently heated the savory pastries up for us (unlike the PB equivalent that was still cold on the inside). The team working at the bakery are mostly friendly and helpful -- the young guy at the cash register may be new -- he seemed more easily flustered, but the other servers were all very efficient.
