I don't know why I put less ice on my order. If this is less than I guess a normal amount of ice makes closing the lid virtually impossible. Second time in a week at this location.

Hey...its Dunkin Donuts. Why not? Next to a citistop/minimart or something or the other They are nice too. Got me a bunch of coffee and munchkins for my students. Nuff said.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! louie is not only an amazing manager but a beacon of light that the hospitality industry is lucky to have. i am a mere yankee and was blown away by the beauty of southern hospitality. i walked into this establishment FIENDING for the giant energy drink when louie kindly informed me that they were no longer selling it... my heart shattered into a million pieces. I have been driving across the country and have become addicted to the delicious drink. i especially needed it today as i had a 10 hour drive ahed of me. louie quickly found a solution to my problem and i will forever be grateful. not only does this man possess the ability to think on his feet and efficiency problem solve, but he does so with a smile on his face. please give this man a promotion/ raise as he definitely deserves it. louie- i see great things in your future. you have no idea how much this meant to me. may the universe send you love and abundance (and adequate pay for your service)

The coffee is not fresh and the store itself is not very clean. Unprofessional service. Definitely would not go back to this location.

Staff so very sweet and helpful. They had a wall of team member's fur babies around a sign about an April 7th fundraiser for Asheville Humane Society. Pooped in for my daily matcha latte and decaf latte. Enjoyed the matcha. I prefer nothing but matcha and milk in mine. If you want any syrups put in you'll have to ask. Decaf latte texturally was great the bean flavor wasn't my vibe. On the day, we were leaving town we wanted to get a box of goodies for our sweet family members who had taken care of one of our pups so that we could get away for the weekend. The team was so marvelous in helping us put together this bountiful box of goodies. Which our family members immediately opened and enjoyed nibbles of all of the different flavors and items. We originally found them when one of our family members was having health challenges and could not have dairy or gluten. They have such a wonderfully inclusive assortment of treats for everyone in the family. Including vegan. Enjoyed people watching sitting on the patio and the dog scene is awesome. Really lovely chill atmosphere with delightful team. They do have restrooms for customers. You're able to tap and pay in addition to cash and traditional credit card purchase. Always a delight to visit.

Their espresso martini is probably the best I've ever had -- perfectly balanced, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. Every bartender here is incredibly knowledgeable. They can make anything you ask for and then walk you through the history and origins of the cocktail like you're getting a mini masterclass with your drink. The bar itself is beautiful, with an impressive selection of spirits and a menu full of creative cocktails featuring ingredient combinations you'd never expect to work together -- but somehow they absolutely do. It's also one of the best places in the city to sit back and people-watch while enjoying a perfectly made drink. Do not skip The Times -- honestly, it's worth going out of your way to stop there.

Service was good, it wasn't very busy so pretty easy to walk up and order. I would have loved to try an espresso martini from here but I didnt want to risk not being able to fall asleep (Im getting old). They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is pretty casual with small tables. Indoor decor is fun, halloween-y, and dark. They have a huge selection of liquor, so everyone will be able to find something they like. Sounds like they change their menu frequently so there is always something new to try.

We each ordered individually, but tasted everyone's dish. Beef Tartare: beautifully presented and well balanced. Served with fried saltines (seasoned with Old Bay seasoning). Wood Grilled Asparagus: perfection! Absolutely LOVED the sauce gribiche! Braised Rabbit and Nettle Cavatelli: I thought this dish was stunning. The texture of the cavatelli could not be better and the flavors melded well together. Lardon added savoriness while the pickled ramps balanced the palate. Soft Herb & Pea Risotto: loved this in terms of texture but needed a touch of salt. We added a pinch of their house special salt (mined from a 100 year old salt mine), and it did the trick! Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle: this was my favorite item, though also, requiring a pinch of salt. I really appreciated that the truffle oil did not overpower the dish (that's a pet peeve of mine). We were provided with some truffle salt to enhance savoriness, which absolutely lifted the pasta to another level. Service all around was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in town!

Nestled in the heart of the city, Rowan possesses a warm and understated charm. The soft lighting and calm atmosphere create a cozy ambiance that exudes thoughtfully curated design, while the gentle hum of conversation and espresso machines add a touch of life to the space. It's the kind of coffee shop where rainy afternoons feel like a cinematic scene from your favorite film. Recently, I met a date here, as Rowan seemed like the perfect setting for such a memorable beginning. After we greeted one another with an intimate kiss just outside the doors of Rowan Coffee, I observed a Duchenne smile flash across her face before we embarked on what became an emotionally recursive, psychologically layered Asheville odyssey, as we explored the Grove Arcade, Wall Street, Pack Square Park, French Broad Chocolate, Cúrate, and the South Slope. The coffee at Rowan is truly exceptional. Each cup is thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and served with care by passionate baristas. It can be rather challenging to find high quality cold brew these days, but the cold brew on offer her is some of the best I've found in Asheville. Whether you're enjoying a cappuccino, catching up with a friend, or studying/working near the back, Rowan provides the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and savoring the moment. My date ordered a mocha that morning, and based on the enthusiasm with which it disappeared, I'd be remiss not to mention it. The mochas are so good here that girls do circle back. And if you don't, you're missing out. What truly sets Rowan apart is its comfort. It's an intimate space without being overcrowded; it's stylish without being pretentious. It encourages conversation, reflection, and even accidental three-hour stays.

Outdoor seating is where we've gone both times here, and it was great for a group and for dogs. The staff service is amazing, and food comes out pretty quickly. Coffee selection is great--the Vietnamese cold brew is my favorite so far--and they always have fresh squeezed juice as an option, too. The sourdough pancake is the star of the show, even though I haven't actually ordered it for myself yet. I'm not a sweets person, and the pancake is savory and just a little sweet in the perfect way. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, thick and able to hold up to syrup without getting soggy. This review is combined from my first visit in September 2024 and my most recent in early April 2026. My wife got the pancake both times. I got the croque madame the first time, and the breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg and cheddar on an English muffin) the second time. The croque madame was phenomenal. The breakfast sandwich was good, but not my favorite. I'm not a huge fan of cheddar--especially sharp cheddar--on a breakfast sandwich, and the tomato aioli, caramelized onions, and the actual sausage patty, were a little too sweet for my liking. I could see others liking it, though, so definitely worth a try. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the menu a bit more. My cousin swears by the avocado toast, so that might be next!
