    Line for Donuts
    Gregory C.

This was my first visit to this Dunks location even though it's just up the road on Cobb Pkwy. You can't order an Apple fritter from the self service kiosk. We came here as a Friday treat and the line in the drive thru was to the street and at the counter it was to the door. The line doesn't seem to move because people aren't sure if the self service tablet has its own line. Anyhow, we got the half dozen donuts: pumpkin spice, maple, chocolate, Boston crème, and coconut. They were out of stock on Apple spice so we opted for the blueberry. I'd recommend heating them up at home or the office as they are very tasty warmed up! Unfortunately, there's not an efficient way to get in and out while you are on the run. Half a dozen for $9 is not too bad in today's economic environment.

I wanted a quick meal for driving, I dropped into this Dunkin for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. That was a mistake. While there was a short line for the register, it moved quickly and the cashiers were making coffee and serving up donuts fast. My sandwich order was taken and while they made the change, the coffee was handed to me. And then, time stopped. This is where the line for the register started to grow and grow. Some people got their food orders. Some more people got their food orders. One guy brought his food order back with a problem. And still, people who came into the shop after me are getting their food. Finally, I get the guy's attention and tell him what I ordered and he was able to put it together. Somewhere in the confusion, the orders got messed up and some stuff got skipped. There were more than a few upset customers today. I try hard not to give out one star reviews. Out of the nearly 2000 reviews I've written so far, less than 2% get the "Eek! Methinks not." and they have earned it. The lesson here is, great coffee and great donuts. Stick with what you know.

This location is always amazing. Today Rushi helped me at the drive through, super nice and friendly. Tis the season for Pumpkin, so I indulged in a glazed Pumpkin Cake doughnut ( I got a fresh batch ) which was flawlessly spiced and not overly sweet which I liked. My large coffee was ideal! They have perfected the sugar to cream ratio. Excuse the photo, couldn't help but try some while I was trying to capture this phenomenon.

This was by far one of the BEST ICED COFFEES Id ever had! The cashier was amazing and I hate I didn't remember his name. The service was quick and he recommended the new flavored iced maple pecan coffee!!! MAN IT WAS GOOD! I also had a pumpkin spiced doughnut! Great start to the morning!

I love this Dunkin' baskin Robbins combo. Staff are great & attentive. BUT tonight I was jipped on my scoop of pumpkin cheesecake ice cream. Isn't there some sort of scoop standard they go by? Im beyond bummed out.

Gross there was a hair in my food this morning. Not the best impression. Drive through service was fast enough and the customer service was fine. I know hairs in food can be a fluke but seriously it's gross.

They have "vintage" donuts which are classic and not decorated with confections (amazing if you want with coffee or tea) and the fun donuts, which include an array of different toppings and flavors. The donuts are somehow decadent but not too overwhelming (my mom can't really eat sweets because of her stomach issues, and she says these are the only donuts that don't make her feel sick). In addition to donuts, they also have really great coffees, teas, and breakfast sandwiches. But apart from the food, the standout feature of Donnie's is the owners! Patty and Donald are amazing - there's usually one of them working at a time, and they're such a joy. The staff as well are always friendly, upbeat, and super helpful. There's also large couches that make it a great spot to just chill out after a day on the beltline. Highly recommend!

The donuts are absolutely delicious and always fresh. They don't taste like they're missing anything, even with some of the vegan options. I also love that everything is clearly labeled, so you know exactly what you're getting. The coffee menu is pretty extensive, too! I decided to try something different. I normally drink espresso, but I wanted to switch it up. I can't remember the name of the drink, but it had three shots of espresso with steamed almond milk--and it was wonderful! Try Revelation Donuts. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. Great donuts, great coffee, and just an all-around great place to be!

This location is in the Summerville area which is heavily changing. There's a new Publix across the street and many new things withing walking distance. They have an outdoor patio behind Pete's Hotdogs but also some cozy inside seating if you like the old hamburger shop with countertop service. Their burgers are worth noting as well as their breakfast sandwiches. They add a bit of their own flare with a pepper jam on their breakfast sandwiches, which if you're into putting jam on your breakfast biscuits, that might interest you a bit. I'm not big into that, and I still enjoy it. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are also using fresh buns with fresh ingredients which you can't really find a lot of places in the city making their own buns. Most will use Martins, which i'm not complaining about those, but to find a fresh made bun hamburger in these times is amazing. As I'm finishing up this review, I'm reminding myself I need to go here more often.

The sesame seed bun seems to be made from scratch, and is crusty on the outside and chewy and fluffy on the inside. The pork sausage patty is moist, tasty, and juicy without falling apart, and very well seasoned. The egg was fried to perfection, and although there was a bit of runny yolk, it was not so much that it soaked the bun or made the sandwich needlessly messy. The sweet and tangy Hero Pepper Jelly is the perfect foil to the fried egg, cheese, and sausage, and for lovers of all things sweet and salty (such as myself), it amplifies the flavors of this sandwich to the next level.
