Back at the Market again and trying another business! This time, I decided to check out BMore…read moreTwist. I love a fresh-baked soft pretzel, so I was excited to give this place a try. I'm a big fan of cinnamon raisin pretzels and was happy to see that theirs didn't come with extra cinnamon sugar on top. They do offer a separate cinnamon sugar pretzel for those who prefer that. The glaze on the cinnamon raisin pretzel was perfect for me. My husband tried the pecan caramel pretzel as well as an original, with a large orangeade. What I appreciated most about the cinnamon raisin pretzel was its freshness and the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. The original pretzel had just the right amount of salt, which was great. We didn't care for the pecan caramel pretzel much. The pecans were a bit too toasted and it lacked caramel. The orangeade was delicious! I'll definitely be returning because the service was great and the quality of the pretzels really stands out. The all-beef pretzel dog is next on my list!

I love a good choose your own adventure when it comes to food so if you are with 1 person or 5 everyone can find something they like to nosh on while having a good cocktail. Neopol easily has my favorite sandwich in the city! So much so that I rarely order anything other…read morethan the salmon BLT. Pro tip: get the sunflower bread! It was nice checking them out for Restaurant Week. This was the first time (that I can recall) they participated and they really had a good deal going. It included a shrimp, a mussel, a sandwich, cookie, chips and a drink, all for $20. In all my years of coming here I have only had their shrimp salad, white fish, and the aforementioned sandwich; and that's basically it, so it was nice to try something different. The mussel really surprised me because I typically dont like them; I guess smoking changes the texture and I approve lol. I love the flavors, the attention to detail, and the consistency. Not to mention the service is typically fast and friendly. One of these days I'll venture to other menu items because I hear the pastrami is killer.

My first time trying Neopol and I see why they are such a staple here in Baltimore…read more Since Neopol was participating in the Baltimore Restaurant Week, I figured there was no better time to try them. For $20 they offered a sandwich of choice, a bag of chips, 1 jumbo shrimp & smoked mussel, lemonade, and a chocolate chip cookie, which unfortunately they forgot to give me. Nonetheless, I got the BLT Salmon sandwich and nestled up at a table outside to enjoy my lunch. The sandwich was quite tasty. Crispy bacon with smoked salmon, perfect lunch bite. But the star of my lunch was their ginger lemonade. There are no words to describe how delicious this lemonade is. First sip and you automatically think where has this been all my life. Neopol's counter offers a variety of smoked items from fish to purchase by the pound and mussles, to salads, smoked garlic, and sandwiches. The staff is really nice and the food is perfect for a quick bite. I can't wait to try some of their other sandwiches and maybe some of their smoked garlic.

Beef Sausage was deep fried again not smoked which is why I came to a "smokehouse". Service Review: The gentleman upfront very cool and accommodating. I asked for a sample of the brisket to determine whether I was going to purchase the 1/2 pound or the pound. As he preceded to get the sample the gentleman (who may be the owner, not sure) in the kitchen told him nah we don't do that. This is the same gentleman that rung up my order and he just wasn't friendly almost annoyed while I was asking questions. Ultimately I want to support local business so I will give them another chance. I'll be hoping for a better experience.

[Disclaimer: this is a comprehensive review so buckle in and let's go!]…read more I used to frequent Hopkins Market (HM) when it was a tiny cafe that had good food. Always friendly staff. Good space. I was sad to see that they left. The replacement, however, has truly impressed me. The new & improved current location has nearly 'quadrupled' in size with its redesign/ buildout. The location is well lit and has morphed from a small neighborhood cafe into a full service vendor. Aside from a menu offering an impressive myriad of options, HM is also a massive grocer/ wine & cafe. They offer wine tastings and a very clean space. I believe they openEd in 2025. On to the stats: STAFF: Everyone is friendly & helpful. SUNDRIES: An expansive selection of liquor, beer & wine; snacks; candy; soda; coffee; household goods; grocer goods; Knick knacks. LIQUOR PURCHASES: A GREAT perk is liquor can be purchased until close (11 or 12). CAFE FEEDBACK [This is an amalgamation of dishes based on numerous visits. Didn't want to come across like a serious 'BIG BACK' LOL - On To The Vittles: 1. Chicken salad sub (recommended). Freshly made. Simple recipe [Mayo, S&P, celery, a few spices] (which I really enjoy, when done well) and sizable portions. SCORE! 2. French fries (recommended). Toasty/ crispy of the outside, fluffy inside w/ very good flavor. SCORE! 3. Yellow cake w/ choc icing. A tasty sheet cake / good grocery store offering. Moist cake, thick flavorful icing. DELISH! SCORE! 4. Dolmas - Stuffed Grape Leaves. I absolutely love these. Unsure if they're made in house or brought in but they're tasty. Not always in stock but when they are - SCORE! 5. Guava nectar - Absolutely delicious! Give me more. 6. Pear Nectar - Absolutely delicious! Give me more. 7. Pastrami sandwich - DEEEELISHIOUS. Tastes like it came straight from a NY deli counter. I added Swiss & deli mustard (heated). Perfect recipe. Don't overdo it. TRIPLE WORD SCORE!! 8. Western Fries - Crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. Seasoned well. SCORE!! 9. Onion Rings - I wished they were beer battered instead of being super crunchy. They also lacked ANY flavor. Breading wasn't seasoned at all. A little salt in the batter or at the end would've made a world of difference. CRIME! 10. Marble Chocolate Cake: Delicious chocolate frosting. Cake was drier than I like. I enjoy a moist cake. That wasn't one. I do think, however, that the deserts are shipped in - so I can't hold it against them (TIP: Change your baker) 11. Egg & Cheese Sandwich: on toasted Rye w/ mayo, mustard, S&P. THIS is my 'GO TO'. When I don't want meat but I'm hungry, this always satiates me. I'm a big fan of this addition to the area.
