Don't waste your time. We came here b/c Lamar's had an obnoxious line out their doors. Wasn't going to wait there with a toddler. I should've just went back later. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. We settled for Dunkin & I honestly wish we didn't. Ordered via drive thru. Asked for a dozen donut holes and 2 glazed donuts. I then get " HOW MANY ?! " Excuse me, it's too early for the attitude. But how many do you think a dozen meant? I then get a " what else" , well, sweet Susie, did you hear my 2 glazed donuts? I'm preg & I've got a toddler, I'm in no mood to be spoken in a disrespectful manner just for so damn donuts. Pull up. Paid. I got a bag that stated " 2 mini bagels". She left to get the munchkins. I handed her the bagels & said " this isn't what I ordered " so we switched for the 2 glazed donuts. Got the donut holes and as I drove off, I saw they were choco donut holes. Couldn't reverse since we had impatient Nancy behind us. So I had to go back thru the drive thru. Told them " second time yall messed up. I asked for glazed and got chocolate. " All I hear is " she said WE messed up her order " I loop back to the window & switched it out then asked " now I'm curious. Did I pay someone else's order? Since I've received 2 wrong orders.. " And the gal goes " I don't think so. I don't know " . Can we like, not check?! And all I could get was " no it's not wrong " without checking. I don't know what was going on today, but everyone but 1 person was obnoxiously rude, condescending and just didn't seem to care. My son didn't even eat the donut holes, curious to see why, I ate one and realized it had a cleaning product smell to it. Luckily the glazed donut didn't & he settled for half of that. I ordered a raspberry watermelon lemonade refresher. The drive thru worker read my order back as strawberry dragonfruit, and I went to correct her and she said she said what I ordered. I was served a strawberry dragonfruit refresher...NOT WHAT I ORDERED. The labeI on my glass even says strawberry dragonfruit. I have gone to this location 3 times trying to be optimistic but every time the same lady is running the drive thru and every time she is either having a really bad day or just has no understanding about customer service. She is rude and will not hesitate to raise her voice at you. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a cold brew with sweet cream. The lady very rudely said they didn't have sweet cream so I request just plain cold brew then. Not sure why when she gave it to me it looks like it has milk or something in it without that being specified anywhere especially after stating there was no cold foam.The meat on the sandwich was burnt to a crisp, the egg had black flakes all over it which was either burnt food from not cleaning or the coating in whatever the use to cook, either way not acceptable for food service. Overall the worst Dunkin experience, the atmosphere is horrible and someone needs to either address the attitude with the employees or replace that one entirely. So horrible. read more

This location has a multitude of complaints by the community and surrounding communities in the area. There is a Starbucks within a half mile and 2 Scooters on the same highway (7 hwy) that will give you service with a smile and great attitude. Lamar's is very close to the Starbucks so you can get some of Kansas City's BEST donuts and skip Dunkin in this instance. I love Dunkin but this location is *awful*. read more

Oh boy, this location where to begin...so I've been using this Dunkin location for almost a decade. This is the closest one near my home and it's still 30 minutes away so this is why. If another location opened close to me I would switch in a heartbeat. So like Taco Bell and other fast food chains, some are privately owned franchises that do not utilize all the promos, apps, and specials that the ones you see on TV and social media do. This location is one of those. The app almost never works, this store is frequently out of everything, they change staff weekly, and they do not mix or make most of the drinks correctly, and the owner could give a flying frick about any of this. It's privately owned and they do not care. If you want a subpar Dunkin experience that is like the Wish version of DD, this is it. You'll know it's Dunkin because of the sign but that's about it. If you can wait and drive another few miles to a better DD do it. We waited for help for about 5 minutes with no other customers in the store and no one in the drive-thru. Once our order was taken and one of our drinks were served we had to remind them that we also had another drink.... The trash cans were over flowing at 9:30 in the morning on a Monday, and the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The morning crew is fantastic! Best frozen coffee around, friendly fast service and willing to help me figure out how to make a specific drink. However there is absolutely no reason for this Dunkin to be 24 hours, once the evening shift starts they are out of almost everything. No bagels and usually half the drink machines are "down" for cleaning. I wish I had other 24hr coffee places near by because I'd never come here in the evening again. The man in the evening is also very rude, I ordered the same drink I got in the morning that day and he told me it was impossible to make a latte into a cold coffee. After I informed him she had told me which flavors to use he told me I should have ordered it like that then. My husband ordered a "brewed coffee" as it says on menu and he said rudely, "what's that? Do you mean a hot coffee?" At my visit yesterday the same evening employee was asleep in the main store I could see him from the front window, I had to drive back and forth over the speaker for almost 10 minutes before he finally woke up and realized. I have been to this location 3 times in the last 6 months. Each time the coffee is watered down and not good. They won't let you in the lobby. The last time the owner was there and I pointed out that this is a very different experience than the other metro locations as well as locations I visit in Florida. Dunkin' Donuts in my opinion has the best coffee, but not this location. The owner said the franchise changed the formula. This can't be true. The drive through employees are rude and don't acknowledge the app features. Please don't waste your money at this location. If you live the Kansas City metro area, go to another store. They need to close this one or get another owner. Going cheap on products will cost you business. read more

Bad management, so confused with what we ordered had to make multiple changes to fix there mistakes to are order.

I have stopped by here a second time in the last 5 months because I don't live nearby, but when I'm in an area near a dunkin donuts I will stop. Perhaps not this location any more. The customer service by the manager is awful. The last time I was here it was the manager who waited on me, and he was rude then. He was rather impatient with taking my order. At the time I thought he was having a bad day, but then I stopped by today and he was rude again. I mentioned to him that I had a free drink on my card and never at that moment did he mention that I would have to print out the coupon so that they can scan the code. He didn't mention this until I handed him my Dunkin Donuts card and went ahead and charged me for the drinks and donuts. Anyhow, the way he mentioned what I would have to do in order to redeem my free drink was in a condescending way. After he gave me my mocha drink, which was 75% ice, I asked him to please dump out some of my ice, and I swear he yanked it out of my hand, with some spilling out. I am so disappointed every time I come here... Once I had hair in my food, they refused to replace it, so I bought a new bagel & it was the wrong bagel and untoasted, plus the boy working over night had a legit anxiety attack on 3 separate occasions. They say they stop making bagels at noon.. and only make them from 6am-12pm.. idk if this is true but I love Dunkin and hate how this place is ran. I'm not sure who owns this place, but they need to review these comments and make the appropriate changes. I have been to many dunkin's and this is by far the worst experience I have had. I went through the drive thru and asked for literally the same thing I always got. Bacon egg and cheese bagel and a half sweet half unsweet Tea. The woman on the other end literally said "we dont have that" I asked "what?" And she said she doesnt know how to make that. She doesnt know how to make it. She doesnt know how to make a half sweet, half unsweet tea. Immediately I was going to laugh cause I thought she was joking. She was not joking. I didnt get a drink. I think I'm the first reviewer of this location so I feel bad only giving it 3 stars... but that's all it deserves. #NotSorry My boss LOVES Dunkin Donuts and I know so many people from Boston (spoken with an accent) who love the brand too. Don't get me wrong, the brand is exceptional. They're growing again, have a well known name, and the new store designs are B. E. A. Utiful. They even have a drive through which is convenient and probably the only reason my mother will go there. As always, it comes down to the food and beverage for me: Coffee - Very good. Probably one of the better options in the place. I have had coffee and a Mocha here before both of which I liked. Donuts - Good. Not Lamar's or Krispy Kreme but I liked the taste of them. Other Foods - I had a chicken sandwich that was good. So overall it was good. Never bad, never blow my mind amazingly good either though. What really made me give a 3 as opposed to a 4 was the experience while in the store. The staff I saw was... how do you say... less than desirable. This may sound horrible but the person who handed me my food looked like she was on meth and it made my hunger immedietly go away. Plus, my friend got a long john and when we opened the bag it was upside down in the bag like they through it in there. All the chocolate was on the bag and made a mess. I just was not impressed. i ordered online and got a tomato pesto grilled cheese and had my friend go pick it up for me. he got there and they said they didn't have it and asked what i wanted instead. i said an egg and cheese croissant and an everything bagel (the original sandwich was 4$, so replacing it with 4$ worth of food makes sense) the drive thru lady gave an attitude and said she would only give me the sandwich. my friend felt uncomfortable so i just said to forget it and she just gave him the sandwich. i also ordered a donut and a plain croissant and two wake up wraps. the wake up wraps were fine but both croissants were burnt, they didn't even give me my donut, and there was a hair in my food!!!! literally a short curly dark hair that i pulled out of my mouth while eating my burnt croissant. if i could give 0 stars i would. terrible service terrible food terrible cleanliness. disgusting read more
