Taylor was our waitress and she was wonderful! She helped us with the menu and gave us great recommendations. We can't wait to see her again! We stopped in for the first time and were really impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's casual enough to feel comfortable but with nice touches that make it feel a little special. We loved that it is a true community-inspired restaurant with the chairs all labeled with plaques of customers who have helped in some capacity to support this restaurant. Our server was friendly, helpful with suggestions, and checked on us often without being intrusive. We started with the spinach and artichoke appetizer, which came out hot and creamy with just the right amount of cheese and flavor which was perfect for sharing. For our meal, we split the turkey club and a side salad. The sandwich was stacked high with fresh turkey, crispy bacon, and all the classic fixings on perfectly toasted bread. The side salad was crisp, fresh, and nicely dressed, which was a pleasant surprise since side salads can sometimes feel like an afterthought. The homemade blue cheese and ranch dressings were also delicious. Even though we were full, we couldn't resist dessert and went with the chocolate cake. It was rich, moist, and decadent. It was definitely worth saving room for. Overall, the food felt fresh and thoughtfully made, and the whole dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Blue Springs.

Food was better this time around. Spinach dip not pictured very runny and good. My mom's chicken was runny as well. Service was good. Disappointed they ran out of gluten free chicken which is why we came tonight. Ambiance is casual and they had live music - man and guitar - slightly loud but he was good.

The Kinky Flirtnini: well worth your time.

Great spot in Blue Springs for a cocktail, a darn good meal, or some trivia with the locals! So easy to find just a few miles east of the stadium complex and just north of I-70, too. If you're in the mood for a burg, then give the Bacon Jam Burger a look. Ample patty topped with jalapeños, a big onion ring, and that sweet bacon jam. So good! They're also known for their Chicken Alfredo, featured sometimes as a special, and it's spectacular: seasoned chicken atop bow tie pasta laden with a creamy Alfredo sauce. Smashing dinner! This visit had us traipsing up & down the martini menu, sampling from Cosmo to dessert-y drinks. The Blue Bombsicle is a work of art, balancing blue Curacao atop their housemade sweet & sour and it's super smooth. Or their Kinky Flirtini, a little vodka & soda with a citrusy splash of Kinky Pink liqueur - have at it! Happy hour often runs until 7:00 with well drinks at $5, so you have plenty of options. Service is friendly but not exactly in a hurry. I'd love to drop 5 stars for the food and drink, and maybe shave a half-star for the somewhat crowded back area and slower service. In their defense, trivia was going on and not only can that get loud, but players can be needy, too, lest they miss a question. At any rate, great place for postgame or even during, and lots of good food to choose from.

My husband and I ate here for a date night last week and LOVED it!!! The live music was very catchy and an added bonus to an amazing evening of excellent service and delicious food. For an appetizer, we ordered the hummus. It was very creamy and not too garlicky with something that gave it a kick! The pita bread was soft and warm. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. For my entree, I ordered the street tacos. These are addicting! The pulled pork was very juicy and melts in your mouth. The red cabbage and pico added a nice crunch. The chipotle aioli was smoky and not too spicy. The soft tortillas had a nice char on them. The Spanish rice, served underneath, was cooked perfectly! My husband ordered the shrimp pasta, which I sampled. The shrimps were cooked very well. The bow tie pasta was perfectly al dente. The mushrooms and spinach added great flavors to the dish. The white wine butter sauce was very buttery, in a good way. For dessert, we ordered the Oreo cheesecake, which the waitress said was made that day! It was so creamy and rich, you'd think you're in cheesecake heaven!!! Our waitress was SO nice and the manager came by more than once to make sure we were satisfied. We love this place and will definitely return!!!

Bacon jam burger was really tasty. Onion rings on the burger were crispy and tasty. My only complaints were that the Jalapeños tasted and looked bottled, and the bottom bun was pretty soggy. Service was a little shaky, but I wasn't too bothered by it. Food came out fast. I enjoyed having live music. There was atmospheric lighting, but it was still bright enough to see.

I really enjoyed the live music, and although the service was a bit slow, we didn't mind. I ordered a ruby red sangria, but it tasted a bit like soap and was hard to drink--I'll definitely try something different next time. I got the turkey bacon avocado club, but the turkey reminded me of the kind you'd find in a Lunchable, which wasn't what I expected. The Caesar salad was okay, though I wasn't a big fan of the dressing, and I usually love Caesar salads. Despite being disappointed with what I ordered, they have a huge menu, so I'd like to give them another shot!

The host, and the Yelp app quoted us 10-20 minutes, but we got there after 20 and ended up waiting about 15 more. This was unfortunate since there isn't a big waiting area and we were very much in the way, but the staff was nice and worked to get tables pushed together for us. After being sat it took about 10-15 minutes to get our order in, and about 15-20 for the food to come. Not bad at all with how busy this place is! All of our food came out hot and delicious at the same time! I had the cowboy Benedict with chicken fried steak, and gravy on the side. The steak was alright, pretty thin, and nothing surprisingly tasty about it. The eggs were delicious and my favorite part! The hashbrowns were fine, and the biscuit was also great--crispy edges which were perfect! I got a sticky biscuit with extra icing and really appreciated the amount of icing I got!! This was my favorite part of the meal, again the crispy edges made this such a great texture as well as the taste. Our server Amber did a great job taking care of our large party! She was nice, and checked on us several times. All the staff we came into contact with were very nice and friendly. The bathrooms were small and a little jenky, but otherwise the vibe of this spot was good. Nothing fancy at all, but what you'd expect for a quick turnaround family brunch spot. This would be my first choice for a boujee made-from-scratch meal, but for a large party this is relatively easy to get into--which has been my experience at 2 different locations near KC so far. I'm sure I'll be back with my group again next time we are in the area!

The menu is MASSIVE! I would recommend previewing it on its website rather than being overwhelmed by all of the choices. I ordered the Tri-Tip-Dip Deluxe. The ciabatta was fabulous. The beef tender. I loved the grilled onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese option. VERY GOOD! I had delicious sweet potato fries. Awesome! Creamy inside and crispy crunch on the outside. Best sweet potato fries I've had yet in the KCMO area. My husband enjoyed Bob's Big Burger Deluxe with Blue Cheese. He shared a bite with me. The burger was JUICY and grilled to perfection. He chose French fries and scarfed 'em up. I would happily have given this place a five star review. But for some reason, 90% of the patrons were all seated in one area - OUR area. While our sweet server was running her tail off, attempting to meet all of our and others needs, three servers were chit chatting in plain sight. I blame the manager on duty for lacking organizational discipline. #btw - the sandwiches were so large, we will order just one next time and share! In my opinion, $22 for an Easter brunch buffet should mean hot food that won't run out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Our party of 10 arrived at 11:00am and all of the food in the buffet was cold. Even when they'd bring more of a certain item to replace on the buffet line, it wasn't warm. The only item that was hot was the prime rib at the carving station. Being pregnant, I felt extremely uncomfortable eating cold buffet food due to the increased risk of food poisoning, so I wasn't able to enjoy much beyond the room temperature biscuits and the last scrapings of the white gravy along with some green beans that were warmish. Defintely not worth the $22 a person. They also ran out of carrot cake on Easter of all holidays, which was a disappointment. We probably won't be back for a buffet at Sandy's, which is a shame because our family has eaten their Mother's Day buffet several times and it had been fine (not stellar, but fine). Also, just a personal opinion, but the constant use of bad AI pictures on their Facebook is so cringey. The Boomers might like it, but the younger crowd sees this sort of stuff and thinks "yikes." We'd rather see real pictures of your real food, not a cartoon depiction.
