    My Darn Good Coffee!!!!
    Michael W.

Why is the Dunkin' Donuts so great in JFK airport terminal five? Every time, they never fail. Even my old fashion is fresh. Even the nice lady pouring my grind is fresh. And, I do mean like funky fresh. We will be back.

I identified this Dunkin' as a quality and affordable place to order food from within John F. Kennedy International Airport - American Airlines terminal. I ended up ordering an egg & cheese croissant w/ hibiscus tea because I had no interest in returning to New York Deli to purchase either of the food items presented, which were cold foods. Likely, I would have considered purchasing from New York Deli as a last resort, if I did not encounter this Dunkin'. One thing I was bummed about was that this location did not accept my Upside gift card, let alone any gift cards via phone applications. As for my order, there were no disappointments in the egg & cheese croissant w/ hibiscus tea ordered. I was satisfied with its fluffy appearance, along with its delectable taste. And there is not really much to say about the hibiscus tea which has been a go-to drink of choice of mine for some time now; I just love the taste and smell of it. Being that I had a good ordering experience with this Dunkin', and because it is one of the few quality and affordable places to get food, I would surely visit again whenever inside of John F. Kennedy International Airport - American Airlines terminal. ~Have courage. Be Kind. ~ Thomas G

Only one employee at the counter working both at Dunkin Donuts and Hudson News. If you do not see anyone at the Hudson News cash register then head over to Dunkin Donuts to pay for merchandise. Rough start getting to the airport. Sure could use a cup of coffee and a bagel to nosh on. Ordered an Everything bagel with egg, cheese and bacon came out just right. Got a small cup of coffee to go. Wish menu board with written items were larger. People came to the front to see item and pricing. Too small to see from afar. Definitely, be back. Prices are reasonable.

It's intriguing -- to say the least -- how so few have bothered to log reviews for this Dunkin's establishment, given that it's by far the most frequented location outside of the Greater Boston area (if we're not using advanced metrics). I'm not sure what caught my (red) eye (I had a 5:47 to Glasgow -- don't ask why), but I can assure you that it was the remarkably low calorie count boasted between the Turkey Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, the Hash Brown Bites and, of course, the small iced coffee with a drop of skim milk. Though the staff were clearly bombarded with annoying travelers (a class which indeed my name may have been encountered), they kept up that vintage crappy Dunkin' attitude. The vibes at Gate 32 were tranquil in the dawn's early light, and I peacefully munched my way through my order. Now, the part you've been waiting for: The iced coffee? Watery and unexceptional, but are these not the qualities one seeks out whilst in transit? The Hash Brown Bites? Soggy and plasticky -- as if Mattel himself were the fryman responsible for my order. They did, however, come in at only 110 calories for six potatoey tokens and had a really nice, surprising, hint of sage. My advice? Wait a few minutes until they've dried out a bit -- you'll thank me later. Now, the Turkey Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich? The croissant (they must have been bereft of rolls) was flaky and oily, and the sausage, not unlike biting into a squishy toad, skin and all. The egg and cheese merely provided caloric filler, and I initially thought I'd tasted tomato chutney, but I was sadly mistaken. Must have been a remembrance of my dinner at Il Gustacci the night before.

It's easily accessible right by the subway and the LIRR is very close by. Since it was private they ordered their food which was mostly pastries with various flavors/toppings. I wanted savory since it was dinner time so I opted for I think a red pepper pastry which was yummy! My friend actually bought their pastries. One was a mango dessert with white chocolate outer shell and mango mousse. It was good but a bit sweet due to white chocolate and the cream inside was rich and creamy mango flavored. I am watching my sugar intake so just had a bite to try. The other was a pistachio Dubai mousse and oh my! It was amazing! I definitely am returning for this. Also they served chai which I tried a little. And tea but I was afraid to try the tea bc I am very sensitive to caffeine which causes me to have a hard time falling asleep so I opted out. Private event but service wasn't bad. Just wondered why there wasn't water for the guests if they couldn't drink tea/chai.

I've put up with this location for so long but at this point, I've made my last visit here. It's a…read moreshame because I never have no issues with food preparation here. Even the dunkalette I ordered here is especially good. The reason this place is getting a 1 star from me is that the service is absolute TRRAAASSSSHHHH!!! There are shady politicians in NYC that put more effort in their jobs than the workers in this place. My gripe about this place needs its own paragraph. This place has a reputation for lackluster service, the prior reviews here show I'm not alone in my discontent BUT this time is by far the most egregious offense. I've made my order on the Dunkin' app, which is by far one of the better made apps for quick service restaurants, it is surprisingly good and very rewarding...back to the story, whenever I make an order on the app, I at least give the place a 10 minute grace period, more than enough time for my stuff to already be made by the time I get there because I understand that there will be slight delays because the place has a drive thru as well but I just ordered one item so, rather easy for them to get it done. However by the time I get there, my dunkalette was nowhere in sight despite me giving them 11 minutes to complete one order. STRIKE 1! I get the attention of the server there who doesn't even recognize the order despite the order being completed on the app on that location and being on the computer behind him. STRIKE 2! The server, despite having acknowledged my order at this point, partially set up my order only for him to stop halfway and serve other people, even completing an order of someone who got here after me but got his before I did. Someone else had to finish the order I made on the app SEVERAL MINUTES AGO! STRIKE 3! I'M DONE! Wow I had a lot to say on this one but I needed to vent. This place has the potential to be a 3.5 at the least but is stuck under 2 stars because of the PITIFUL, GARBAGE, LOW EFFORT, DISGRACEFUL, LAME, BOTTOM SHELF service this place doles out just because they're the only Dunkin within miles with a drive thru. I've seen Postal Workers with more enthusiasm for their jobs than the people who do business here and it's just sad. If there was a Starbucks, Tim Hortons or even an indie coffee shop nearby, that place wouldn't be so damn lazy. I've literally had it with this spot.

No way an order for munchkins and a coffee takes over 20 minutes. I guess the only nice thing I can say is that the location is kind of clean. The drive thru is a complete mess, you could do some serious damage to your car going through this wreck of a parking lot UPDATE: they served me pork when I ordered turkey. Didn't notice until I took a bite because I was driving and eating. This store is run by complete idiots.

Staff is friendly enough, no complaints there. What really makes this spot nice is the setup. There's an upstairs area and outdoor seating where you can chill, work, or just hang out. Free Wi-Fi, never too noisy, and you even get a view of the river. It's basically the spot everyone goes to in the area, so it is what it is. Solid, dependable, and chill. Not rocket science

Yes I would since this isn't even the drink I ordered , it was a chai latte not even a lemonade ..... then they bring me my cup w no ice my entire drink like warm and when they look at me like you wanted ice ? I never not asked for ice the drink standard my comes with ice cream... then brings me my cup without my straw .... And this ain't even the worst this is just the final excuse of poor incompetent service from this location , I rather drive to gateway and get my drink from target, the bathroom is always disgusting with urine all over the floor, I'm surprised the board of Health has not made any issues w the sewer rats that run all across by the water side when it's low tide and the parking is trash it piles up and creates traffic as well but that's more of a location issue I suppose
