It's been honestly burning inside me to not leave a review yet and giving this location chance after chance I just about had it , terrible customer service and the new employees need to absolutely be retrained for how to speak to customers as well as how to read off a order, I understand Starbucks is a chaotic place to work especially at busy locations , I used to be a barista for Starbucks 13 years ago so I understand completely however there is no excuse for poor reading skill at a non peak hours and to not only get a drink wrong once but two times in the same order and then when I'm like I made the drink on the app it's not that difficult it's a trenta tea in my own personal cup extra pumps of classic , first they give me my cup with the wrong drink entirely and then look at me like would you like me to remake it ? Yes I would since this isn't even the drink I ordered , it was a chai latte not even a lemonade ..... then they bring me my cup w no ice my entire drink like warm and when they look at me like you wanted ice ? I never not asked for ice the drink standard my comes with ice cream... then brings me my cup without my straw .... First timer . Went to JFK airport and on our way back wanted to get a fresh coffee ... had a long drive and we thought the coffee will refresh us ! This was the closest to JFK and came here . Parking was small but we got one ... Coffee was disappointing ! Cortado has been our favorite but this was the most disappointing cortado that we ever had . I think she just did 1 shot instead of 3 ! It tasted like milk with very less coffee .. also had a latte and it was just tooooooo bad ! A nice boardwalk Starbucks that's relatively clean and it's not too empty. A lot of people like to be outside rather than indoors the food's all right it's prepared quickly not too many staffers bathrooms of accessible. It's really a private and quiet place. My only issue is that if you plan on working like unless you brought your laptop with you, there's only like one spot to charge and it's in a very awkward spot so if you're trying to charge your phone, make sure your key is long but other than that, it's a clean and quite relaxing spot. read more

The picture of the jalepeno chicken wrap was drastically different from what was advertised on the starbucks app and it was dripping with sauce with like two pieces of chicken. Why don't they just be honest and let customers know it's sauce and pita wrap slapped together, so nasty. This is definitely the uniquest looking Starbucks in Queens. It has an upstairs and two outdoor seating areas. It overlooks a nice body of water - possibly Shellbank Basin that then feeds into Jamaica Bay/Spring Creek. I always do mobile orders and, even rarer, sometimes an in person order. As I also always come here on weekend mornings, it's always busy. I like this location because they're usually always bumping hip hop music on weekend mornings depending upon which staffers are there. The staff themselves have always been polite to me and will even give me a gift card if I've been waiting a long time and my item is out of stock. Pre-COVID, I would come here and have a seat in the upstairs section, and even sit outside sometimes. I can't wait for this pandemic to get better, so I can return to hanging out in one of my favorite Starbucks in all of Queens. So earlier today I tried the new boba refresher and I wanted my son to try it so we came here bc his school is nearby. I ordered the venti this time (earlier I got a grande, yes this is important to the story). When I got my mobile order (that was sitting there because they didn't bother to call my name) there were about 8 boba pearls in the bottom. In my grande drink, the boba took up about 1/4 of my drink. The app says a venti gets 3 scoops of boba. I go back and ask if this is 3 scoops worth. She goes to get someone else who tells me they're out of boba. Cool. I go to the register to ask for a refund. That girl gets another lovely (ha) worker by the name of Hailey. Ray of sunshine. She begins to tell me that that's the amount of boba that comes. I tell her, firstly, the app says 3 scoops come in it and secondly, I got a grande size earlier and there was way more. She starts with an attitude saying 'well do you want us to add the boba', as if I'm 3 years old. I tell her the other girl said you were out so just give me a refund. More attitude. Apparently, I have to pay full price for a drink with missing ingredients. Hailey, your store is full of fucking flies, and your bathroom is about as clean as your attitude so how about you wipe down the tables and change the sanitizer buckets, because customer service/ counter work is not for you sis. read more

Never had a complaint, UNTIL yesterday when I asked my Husband to pick me up a bottle of Vanilla Syrup. A Starbucks products I've been purchasing for years. It was $12.95 and it jumped up to $19.95 sometime last year. The cost is not the issue, it's the refusal to sale and the going back and forth with my husband (including the shift supervisor) and another Barista behind the bar "THEY DON'T DO THAT HERE" when they in fact DO. I was displeased with the situation, the service and how it was handled. I ended up having to call corporate and file a in-store experience complaint. The representative on the phone went thru all my previous transactions on my Starbucks reward card, and it does show I had purchased the bottle of Vanilla Syrup from HB location and the Macys Herald Sq Mezzanine location (on top of that I even got points for it too). This location is close to my house but I never really go to. I was pleasantly surprised. The location is pretty big. Outside there's seating for groups of 2-3. Inside there's more seating with actual tables that you can sit and do work at. On the day I was there about 6-8 students were sitting and working. The left side has another seating area that can hold about 6. They had an ample number of staff behind the registers to take orders and making drinks. It was busy but things were moving along smoothly. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I ordered a seasonal drink. The Pumpkin Cream Cole Brew and really liked it. I've been back since for another and I will make more time to get to this location. Another option is to order from Uber Eats and have the delivered.
