I went to the opening day! The line was not very long and the service was nice. They were busy all morning. The lady that got my donuts was really nice and funny actually held a conversation with me and we talked about how crowded it was and how she had not taken a break yet. They were all very nice and funny. I got the half Dozen and an iced coffee with French vanilla. Personally next time I would cut down on the French vanilla because I added extra thinking it would be like Starbucks vanilla, but in my opinion it was much sweeter! Still tasty, but was not able to finish it all because it was overwhelmingly sweet especially with the donut. You can place mobile orders if you download the app, which I thought was really cool. Since they are just opening the line for donuts went well, but I saw that many people were waiting a while for their drinks. Mine was pretty simple and did not take long, but I saw others that were waiting before me and still waiting after I got my drink for them to get theirs. Terrible customer service honestly. My boyf was unaware that he paid for our doughnuts using my app so he tried paying with his card, as a cashier you stay with your customer and let them know that their transaction is complete. Instead the cashier walks off to assist other customers knowing that my boyf is sitting there trying to still put his card in UNTIL I SAID SOMETHING. Give your cashiers proper training. I did a mobile order it was quick, but as I was grabbing my drinks the food wasn't in there yet and then you see a hand shoving a bag into my locker thingy and they kept shoving it without looking and you guys obliviously know where I'm going with this... my wraps were all smashed. My iced caramel macchiato tasted like straight water with a hint of coffee. Oh and the doughnut options, pft not worth it go support your local doughnut shops. If you are open at 5AM I expect you to have each and every dam doughnut y'all make @5am... I came in around 7 today and yeah. Sunday morning, 820 am, my dozen donuts and large coffee come out to almost $20.. I was wrung up for two large coffees. apparently the young guy with the beard had no idea how to reverse that so I asked him if I could trade for a chocolate milk for my kids. He then told me that he could replace it with a hot chocolate. I clarified with him that I had said chocolate milk and he said he would go get the chocolate milk. He brought me a hot chocolate lol.. My first time going to this location was today. I ordered a xl French vanilla hot coffee. Light and sweet with milk not cream. Told them 3 times to use milk not cream. They said it back to me 3 times. Got my coffee and sure enough they used cream. Even the printed label on the cup said cream. Guess I'll have to stick to the Dunkin on base in miramar. They know how to fill an order properly. It's not even like I made a complicated request. Simple milk instead of cream. And they cant even get it rute. It's a shame too because I live 2 min from this location and it would have been a replacement for my morning starbucks run thats average $20 every morning. If you want your order done rute. We always come to this Dunkin on our way to Home Depot (we're renovating our patio so we come A LOT!) so it isn't like we're strangers & we don't spend money here. I wanted to do something cute and fun for my husbands birthday so this morning i signed him up for a bunch of rewards programs so he can feel good about getting some of his favorites for free. So this afternoon when I brought him here, I show them the app & his ID and they said I couldn't get his reward bc I barely signed him up that morning. It wasn't the worst experience, but it could have been better. First off, it was late Saturday morning when I arrived and it was slightly busy, but you could tell it was dying down. My first negative remark is one of the entrance double doors was locked. I'll be honest this is a huge pet peeve of mine, but I wasn't going to let a blatant fire safety hazard ruin my breakfast. We stand in line and an employee decides it's a great time to start moping in between customers in the line. This was perfect because I was just thinking to myself, "You know what would be awesome? If someone rubbed dirty mop water all over my shoes." It's our turn to order and I ask her a question about their confusing, flashing advertisement they have, but she answered it so that wasn't bad. What was bad was how quietly she spoke even with all the loud machinery going. I just kept my order simple because I couldn't hear a thing miss whispers was saying. After we order it was about $25 for some breakfast sandwichs, which seemed a little pricey, but they did taste good so that's not a problem. When our order was ready a Russian lady yelled our order out repeatedly. I actually liked that so no complaints there. Later on however a lady that sounded like she had been smoking a pack of cigarettes every hour for the last 80 years was announcing orders. No judgment against smoking, but when your voice sounds like a car crash maybe leaving the announcing to the angry Russian lady. We dined in and sat at a table near the side entrance. Two guests tried to enter there and guess what, that door was locked as well! As we dined in I heard 3 customers go up and tell the dunkin employees their orders were incorrect, one of which had to come back in from the drive through. In conclusion, the only reason this place is lasting is because of the name Dunkin. Resolution: First and foremost - UNLOCK YOUR DOORS! No one wants to steal your donuts and coffee. - Teach your employees to clean in more appropriate areas at more appropriate times. - It's ok to speak up/louder, especially if you're the main employee talking to customers. - Hire more angry Russian ladies. - Take an extra second to make sure you make the 4 ingredient breakfast sandwich to the customers liking. - Lastly, unlock your doors. I stopped in a 0700 this morning. I ordered a cup of coffee, a maple glazed and chocolate glazed donut. First of all, I asked to use the restroom after I got done paying. The attendant said it was not open to the public, I wanted to remind her I was a paying customer, not the public, but I let it go. I drove away with my donuts and coffee. The coffee was lukewarm. However, both donuts were stale, day old at best. I threw both of them to the birds after one bite. I travel all over the country (for the last 20 years), but this was the worst DD experience I ever had. This one store broke my expectations of a top quality franchise. We were so excited to see this place in El Cajon. It's a great location and easy to get to from Fletcher. The drive thru is manageable...haven't tried to park there yet but it doesn't look like it would be an issue. The donuts have been fresh every time I've visited. We love the munchkins. They have blueberry and pumpkin right now along with the regular chocolate and glazed and Bavarian cream and jelly filled ones. The coffee is pretty good, too! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because their drive thru menu is different than what is charged at the window. The menu shows that 10 munchkins are $1.99 but at the window they ring up $2.99. Not that big of a deal, but should be fixed to reflect the correct pricing. And for those military, don't forget to show your ID so you can get the 10% military discount offered. read more

By far the worse place ever! Just went in to get some donuts and coffee and my 5 year old needed to use the potty. My daughter has autism and got a little overwhelmed and was screaming (yes that sucks I was trying to make her stop) the manager or who ever the hell this lady was yelled at me to shut my child mouth up. We went a few weeks ago and placed a larger order. The entire order was messed up. I didn't fuss because with covid and such it was good enough, I know places are struggling finding employees. We all ate something even if it was the wrong thing and most of us got coffee. Whatever. We went back yesterday. My daughter cannot have lactose. She ordered a large matcha with oat milk. They gave her regular milk without her knowledge. So for the past 24 hours I've been dealing with a miserably sick kid because our order was messed up yet again. My mom and I passed by the drive thru and ordered half a dozen donuts. 2 of them I asked for sprinkled strawberry (for the kids). First off the greeting was "what do you want?" Second of all, after paying we noticed we didn't have the 2 sprinkles strawberries, instead they were plain white. So we passed by the drive thru again and mentioned we received the wrong ones. The lady at the drive-through said we would have to pay for another two donuts in which my mom replied; why if it was your mistake? So my mom asked to call the manager over. The manager then she said OK give me those two donuts and I'll exchange them for other ones. My mom asked him if he was going to put them back or throw them away and the manager said he would throw them away and my mom asked, are you sure? So he went to go grab the trash can and threw them away in front of us. We then received the correct ones and we went about our day. What bothered me was that they did all this in a rude way and I personally have worked a lot in customer service, enough to know that our responsibility as workers is to make the customer happy even if it meant to give away 2 donuts for free. For a place with the word "doughnuts" in the title, I would expect better. The taste like fried lard with weak frosting on top. If you want better tasting donuts, I suggest 7-11. I don't mean the case with the daily fresh donuts (which are pretty good), I mean the little packets that say Hostess or the green ones that say 7-11. There is a reason why all the dunkin doughnuts closed in San Diego years ago, because they are terrible. I was hopeful they improved and are on a come back, but sadly no. Worst freakin coffee I have ever tasted! I ordered a hot Carmel Macchiato first sip I spit it out! The coffee tastes like it's burnt and sat on a burner over night.
